This is a very nice and friendly Nail Spa. I believe just about “everyone” here is good at what they do. Although I had a guy the first time that wasn’t so good. My second time I had Celia who was great but then when I came back she was at school so I had Ann who was even better! Ann took her time taking my nails off to do a full set, she was extremely patient! I went with my daughter(14 yr old) to have a mani pedi. They did our feet. Then took my daughter to do her nails... but forgot about me. I kept saying stuff as people walked by but nothing. 2 hrs later finally said i was leaving and they got me a chair to vet my nails done. Then charged me full price. I've been to this nail spa twice now. Got gel on fingers and nails first time and everything went great and the gel lasted forever. Just went the second time.. decided to do acrylics, coffin style with a matte top coat. Everything was going really good until I realized at the end that the matte coat was streaky :( apparently they were running out of the matte top coat and used the very last bottle on me... was wondering why she kept digging into it trying to get stuff out of the bottle rather than simply getting another. To say the least, I had spent over 50 dollars on nails that were streaky. Just wish they would have told me that they didn't have much matte left... I would have been happy to do with glossy. I usually have great service , but I saw technician Ann and she was not a people person, she did not greet or give the beverage. They usually put lotion after the hands complete, no service on that either. I guess it depends on who u get. I went on a Sunday around three pm. First time here; was rushed through picking my polish by a tech that I believe spoke no English. Their samples don't match up to the bottles and when I asked my tech about it, she just kept pointing to the polish bottles. I decided to just use the bottles to decide. Not sure if a lot of their samples are like this; they have about 300 bottles of polish. The facility is nice, and the products used are clean and professional. My tech stared at me and didn't speak for the duration of my pedicure. Once we were at the point of polish (clear coat already on) she looked at me and said "$60", but it was too late to pick another polish. (I'm obsessed with getting color changing gel for my toes) I thought this was a little steep, but figured I was paying for the grandeur of the place, and the "complimentary" (possibly virgin) cocktail. I asked for an itemized receipt, hoping it would break down why I just paid $25 for gel; it did not. I wrote it off as just another overpriced nail spa, until my friend got her bill - for a basic pedi (same as mine) with normal polish, and then a fill in & the same color changing gel - $75 So either she just got the hook up of the century on her fill in, or I got the "new customer" rip off. I would have asked about my bill, but I really don't even know if my tech understood what I was saying - She kept using another tech to speak to me. You may want to be sure of the price you're being charged for services before they go ahead with them. I'm pretty sure I got charged more because I didn't ask. My tech was Julie; so maybe just avoid her? Definitely won't be going back, and I'll make sure all of my friends know why. $60 for a basic pedicure and gel shellac is absolutely ridiculous. I came in for a regular manicure, and while my tech was nice and the space comfortable, I was very disappointed when my manicure was destroyed less than 30 minutes after leaving the salon. I would have kept blaming myself for not being careful enough with my nails, but I realized more than an hour later that my polish was still tacky and susceptible to indentations. I don't know if it's the type of polish or topcoat they use, or what, but I'm disappointed in having spent $18 for really only getting my nails shaped (since the polish came off as soon as I got home). I've been coming here for years, when I'm in town visiting family. Staff is becoming increasingly rude and hurried. I came in last Thursday 9/16/16, and asked for a gel manicure and a pedicure and polish. The girl rushed through both, and I didn't realize until after the fact that she not only CUT four of my toes below the cuticle, but completely skipped the manicure. It was so rushed that I had to wait about 10 min on my aunt who was there getting the exact same service. (she began about 5-10 min before me as I was still choosing my color) So sad, I used to really enjoy coming here because I knew I would be getting my money's worth. I was a walk-in. This place is visually appealing and laid out very well. The service was prompt and friendly. The pedicure foot baths are lined with plastic and the pedicure supplies are sterilized between uses. I appreciate the cleanliness. Jessie was very pleasant and did an excellent job on my pedi (my feet were in sad shape). For a walk-in this was a wonderful find and next time I am in town I will come back. Read Less

I hate to write this. I've used this nail salon since they opened their doors. For the past 6 yrs or more I've used the same nail tech. It seems since they enlarged their space the quality has rapidly gone downhill. My gel nails last no more than a week before lifting and my toe polish, which should last weeks, chips within the week. I have complained to my nail tech a few times but nothing has changed. Hopefully, the owners of the salon will read this and turn things around. But for me it's too late. This salon has been going down hill for years but this was by far the worst! I went in on December 23rd because I was in town visiting my parents for Christmas and decided to get my nails done. Well it was a waste of $75!! I received a pedicure and gel manicure that I could have done better myself. First my pedicure.. I had heard all about the new expansion and was excited to see it. I was quickly disappointed to be tucked in the back just on the other side of the employee prep station, which was just so relaxing to hear all clanking around. When I was brought to my chair I noticed this plastic liner in my tub,I have had a ton of pedicure in my life and I have NEVER had a tub covered in a plastic liner. It actually made me question the cleanliness of the tub I was about to put my feet in. I asked for my toe nails to all be cut down and made even.. my technician promptly cut just one nail. He at least filed the rest shorter.. my technician continued to do my pedicure AND it was probably no more than 20 minutes. Scraped my feet scrubbed them and put oil on my cuticles and that was it. He didn't cut my cuticles back or anything. Only positive is that he did a good job with the polish. Then my manicure... The manicure its self was typical nothing special. The only issue with the actual manicure was that I needed my nails short and I showed my technician how short I needed them on a nail I had just cut down, the nail had broken, and sure enough trimmed them filed them and they weren't even close! Actually they weren't even all the same length! I asked him to make them shorter explaining that I work with kids, and then he just filed them. Still not short. I had to ask him a third time to make them shorted. Finally we had an ideal length. The biggest problem with my gel mani is the quality... By the time I had gotten home I had small bubbles developed on my thumb, these small bubbles actually have now turned into a large deflated bubble. Now about a week later I have the edges of every nail pulling up 2 chips and the newest development a large chunk of 3 layers of gel have pulled off (see photo). I would have gone back and have them fix this if I didn't live in Chicago..To add insult to injury as I was getting ready to leave my mom called and when I told her where I was she responded with "why! I stopped going there months ago they're horrible!".... I have definitely learned my lesson and won't be going back! Read Less

My wife insisted that I get my first pedicure ever and go with her to this nail salon that did hers for our wedding. Not only did we get overcharged for services because they pretended not to understand us ($45 instead of $35), it became quite clear after our visit they DON'T clean their tools after each person. I wound up with an infection in my left big toe and my wife wound up with an infection in her right big toe that abscessed and filled with puss. We both had to be seen at a Doctor's office and get antibiotics. We are now taking said antibiotic 4 times a day for 10 days. Avoid this place at all costs. Nice-looking place and the nail tech, Teresa, was very friendly, but she didn't seem to know how to do nails correctly. I got a no-chip gel polish, and the application was AWFUL. She got a lot of gel on my fingertips, (a fact I didn't realize until I was closely examining my fingers while waiting for a brow wax..see pics).I showed them to the waxing tech and she spoke to the Teresa, who then attempted to remove the excess from my fingers (with a file), but it's a soak-off gel and it's completely hardened and nearly impossible to get off at this point. (This is the actual reason it wouldn't come off, though she told me, at least twice, that it was due to my "dry skin".) She was reluctant to acknowledge that gel nail polish doesn't actually belong on my dry skin or anywhere else but on my nail bed but when she finally did, she stated that this only happened because of my "short nails". (Oddly, my short nails have never been an issue with any other nail techs I've been to.) I don't live in Ohio, but I visit family there sometimes and I really wanted have a go-to nail place whenever I'm in town. This won't be it. I didn't appreciate the lack of attention to details.   It seemed more rushed than meticulous.  It isn't my favorite salon but they are able to serve me without an appointment if you are pressed for time.  I think it was overpriced.  I paid $40 for a French gel polish change.  Normally I pay $30 for that type of service.  And I wasn't impressed with the quality. Not a bad place. I'm just visiting and decided to get a pedi while waiting to check in to my hotel. Apparently they charge more if you pay with a credit card, which I think is tacky. That's just part of owning a business. It was over $3 more for using a credit card for my luxury pedicure. Anyway - the pedicure was good. I had Jenny and she did a great job. It's definitely a crowded place, lots of stations. I did see them cleaning all their utensils after each pedi, so that is good and I saw them clean a pedicure bowl and did a good job.Overall it's an average 3 star place. Read Less

This nail spa feels more like a nail factory. They want to get you out of there in a hurry and so they use this nail drying liquid which makes your just-manicured nails dull and tacky. It happens before you get a chance to say no. The services are very average but the prices are good. If you get there when they're busiest (Saturdays) they'll seat you at a mobile table in a walkway on a stool and they'll do your nails with people trying to get around you. They do offer you a bottle of water if you get enough services such as a mani-pedi. It's not all that friendly and they try to rush you as much as possible. Read Less
