I was there Saturday. The nail spa should be a place for relaxation but yet I felt like I was a being swept aside for "appointments" supposedly made 2 weeks in advance. Why take walk-ins if you are already overbooked lol. My pedi seemed like a rush job and then I waited for 2 hours for my gel fill. When I asked what was going on I was told that the appointments come 1st but when I arrived there was clients who didn't have appointments come in after me who were taken care off. The receptionist ask if I wanted to come back tomorrow. What a joke... I will never return and will never tell anyone else to go here. The decor and atmosphere of this place was very nice, first time here... First impression was good. I got the combo AV pedi and regular Mani. Gentleman was very polite, pedicure was great!! (Came with wine)!!! Mani was just ok... He didn't really shape my nails or cleaned them out, I still have dirt in them. My friend's tech was also very polite and they both gave us their full attention. I didn't feel rushed, like they wanted to me to enjoy this time. The Decor is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is calm, there's even a bar. The staff was friendly but I was not impressed with my pedicure. The man wasn't paying attention half the time too busy watching TV. If they try to update you to their $40 pedicure decline because it's no different then the one below it they do nothing extra. And schedule an appointment beforehand place was incredibly packed on a Sunday. I wsited for an hour and a half to get a pedicure. I'd give it more stars but I was not impressed with my tech. I’ve had my nails done 3 times here. Unfortunately I won’t be returning. I had the dip and powder, I felt I was pressured to get over shellac. In less than a week it was lifting off my nail. I tried to call a number of times and no one answers the phone. I really feel I should have gotten compensated for the poor application. The nail tech never talked to me. I felt like a bother. My daughter also had the dip and powder. Hers actually fell off in 5 days. I’m really disappointed. Read Less

This place is very beautiful but not worth it in my opinion. The guy doing my nails rushed me the whole time which was very annoying. I also feel that he rushed through my nails because I got a gel set but it started to chip off in LESS than a week. Unacceptable for the price that I paid. I really want to love Anthony Vince... the nail salon is beautiful and everything seems very clean. But unfortunately I am just not happy with the services that I have had done there. The first nail tech that I saw brought up very inappropriate things in conversation, which I initially brushed off because I am not easily offended, but for a service provider it was very unprofessional and could make some people uncomfortable. I had the “dip” powder done on my nails, and the thickness was very uneven from nail to nail, and after the first week of having the product on it started to lift from my nails. ( I have never had this happen with the dip powder before) . I was unhappy with my experience but wanted to give this nail salon another shot. I saw a different nail tech this time. They were friendly and took their time... however when the nail tech filed down my nails with the electric file ( or drill? I’m not exactly sure what it is called) he filed the skin around the bottom of my nails leaving cuts on most of my cuticles. My nails the surrounding nail area is pretty sore from this as well. I am bummed that this was my experience, because again I want to love the place but the services seem so inconsistent from the nail techs. Read Less

I have been coming to this salon on and off for about a year. I always make an appointment so I don't have to wait. Through my experiences here I limit my appointments to Yanni or Lee. They take their time and the polish always lasts more than 2 weeks. Read Less

Great salon. The decoration are over the top. First I was great by Alexis. She was very helpful with my color choices. Then I have Karen, she did a great job. I'm very pleased with the experience. I've been to this salon on a couple of different occasions. Pedicures are always pretty decent although I have had better.Last Saturday, my mother-in-law and I went to get shellac/gel manicures. The girl who did my nails was GREAT. I loved her.Well, Wednesday rolled around every gel on my right hand was peeling off. Already? It had only been a few days. So I called Saturday morning and asked if they would fix them. They said sure. I asked "free of charge?" The girl LAUGHED and said no.I talked her into fixing my nails for free (because I shouldn't have had to pay $40 for nails that don't last the amount of time they are supposed).Someone fixed my nails - but only fixed 7 of them, but I felt like EVERYONE was staring at me and talking about me. Not impressed with my nails, or the customer service. The girls at the front desk are always rude.I'll be going elsewhere from now on and will not longer be giving them my service. Read Less

Do I have to give this place even one star? This is the worst nail salon my mom and I have ever been. THIS PLACE HAS THE RUDEST STAFF!! No one asked what I wanted, nor did they give me the time. The guy who walked up to me didn't even say hello, just "do you have a color?" Then he went so fast I had no clue what he was doing. The bill was $20, so I gave him a $6 tip (keeping in mind I was very unhappy) - he said, "that's it?" Wow.He admitted he has only been doing nails for a short time. He worked at Dairy Queen before this. I will not be going back. And it's not just because I don't like my nails, but this place needs to learn how to treat its customers - especially new ones! One time I went to get a shellac manicure and it lasted one week. Manager agreed for it to be re-done and it lasted two weeks. Next time I went two of my nails were chipped and asked for polish change. Another manager told me to come back another day...they are busy when other nail salon will fit you in. I went there with my mom for a pedicure 2 days ago. The place is really nice inside. We were recommended to do the Signature Spa Pedicure ($40) because they said the cheaper one ($32) is really quick, just for in and out customers. The person who was doing my pedicure was really nice. The person that did my moms, his name is Victor, had this angry, upset face the whole time while he was working, which made the whole pedicure experience very awkward and unpleasant. We both got lower leg and foot massage, which I enjoyed but my mom didn't. The guy was very rough and she was rather in pain than enjoying it. Couple of times she reminded him to take it easy. I felt like the whole salon could feel his negative energy. At the end, the exfoliating was done very briefly with both of us and we went home overall disappointed with the service. Read Less

I was visiting home for a couple days and had a walk in apt with my sister. I get my nails done regularly, and I have to say Jett did probably the best gel mani I've ever had! Drinks were amazing! Grand Opening in West Akron. Waited in line 3 hours. Was told we could leave and come back. I ran some errands and came back at 5:30. The signs and coupons all say they close at 6. Was told when I walked in that they close at 5 on Grand Opening???? I pointed to the sign and time on the coupon... nope, they close at 5. Wth? Offered me a 20% off coupon instead of the free pedi on my voucher. All the technicians were staring at me with blank faces as I pointed to the 6 on their sign and materials. I finally just handed the coupon back and said I won't need it, I won't be back. Wasted 3 hours of my day and two trips there.😡 After reading the other reviews about poor quality and service I guess this just adds to it. Read Less

I work next door to here so it's very convienant for me to come to Anthony Vince. I have had around 4 visits with 3 different nail tech's. My past experiences have been alright but today the lady, Mui I think was her name, took so much time and effort into my nails went over what I asked and expected. I showed her a picture and she said it would be $49. I told her no nvm I only have $50 including tip but she insisted on doing what I wanted anyways leaving only $1 for herself. I came back with a $10 tip and would have given more if I had it. I'm so happy with my nails for the first time in months hopping from place to place. Read Less

I was visiting my family from out of town and my mom treated us to a girls day at Anthony Vince. My mom and sister have been coming here regularly so I figure it was a great nail salon. The place is new and clean, and they have a lot of staff members, but I would recommend making an appointment. We made an appointment for a spa mani/pedi, but other people were waiting who didn't. Once we were seated, they offered us a drink from the bar. I got a glass of champagne, but didn't realize it was extra because in North Carolina (where I'm from), wine and beer up to 2 glasses is always included. Ohio has to jump on that band wagon!  They had a good selection of gel colors and we were told every gel color came with a matching polish. I got color 503. The "matching" polish on my toes was fairly brighter than the original color I picked out, but I like it since it was brighter. The pedicure was OK, but after I left I felt the bottom of my feet and they were super rough! Usually I leave and my feet are as soft as baby feet- not the case here. Now onto my manicure. My mom and sister both got a gel fill and their nails turned out beautiful (why I gave them a 3 vs 2), however I got a gel manicure on my natural nails (which I get every two weeks). As the manicurist painted my nails the polish was not sticking to my nail- it look like oil as it was repealing. After a couple of tries she finally got it to stick, however the polish was SO thick and bumpy (see pic). In addition, after my manicure I reviewed by nails and I had multiple bubbles within my polish. The most annoying thing about my visit was that the polish and gel did not match at all- not even close, but I was assured it was. I checked after my appointment and compared it to the color I originally picked and it was way off (see photo). I did like the color anyways so I kept it the way it was and didn't complain- but something to consider if you're getting a mani/pedi.....4 days after my appointment and my nails are peeling on the side- I never have had issues with gel polish before as they always last me 2+ weeks. For the price I paid ($70), I would expect my nails to look awesome and they did not- If I was ever visiting again I would avoid going here unless you have a manicurist that you love. Read Less
