I had booked a color and cut with heather and the whole experience was terrible. I have her a picture of what I wanted and it was nothing like the picture so she apologized and made an appointment for the next day to fix it. (So I paid for the service and prepaid for her fixing it. This I never got back even though she didn’t do the service) She also recommended I make an appointment for my twins and husband so I did. Apt was for 230 the next day. Well the day comes and she tells me she 15 min behind I said that was fine but couldn’t be any later we had plans. She assured me it was only 15 minutes. We get there and that’s when she says she is an hour and 15 minutes behind. So we couldn’t stay. She apologize and by her request we made another appointment for the next day again. Well it came around and she told me the store didn’t have the color she needed and texted me and told me that there was to much tension and was uncomfortable because of her own problems. So I paid $200 for something she knows was wrong also I prepaid for her to fix it and was not offered even a partial refund for my paying for her fixing it that she didn’t do or for the first experience that she messed up by her own admission. Horrible experience and now waste of money because I have to pay some one else to fix her mistake. Extremely frustrating and disappointing. I hope this helps. Chinda did my bridal makeup and bridesmaids makeup for my wedding and it looked absolutely beautiful! She was fun, professional, willing to travel and also used high quality products! Selected a stylist from their website and made an appointment online as well.  Chain has a very advanced website that allows their tenants to put as much info online as they would like as well as booking appointments (very convenient for the computer savvy, which would include most of us nowadays).  No receptionist, so you need to call the stylist directly with questions or to make/change appointments if you don't like computers (they also text).Yes, parking is a pain.  I was not convinced that my car would not be towed from the strip mall across the street (kind of hard to pretend you are not immediately leaving their parking lot to cross the street), but I may try it next time.  There is a seating area in the middle of the building.  All the stylists try to assist whoever might be trying to get in the front door or may be wandering the hall for the first time.The stylists/techs rent their rooms and are responsible for cleaning their respective spaces - my stylist could do a better job cleaning her space.  Overall the building is very stylish (the tenants hate the huge signature 'lampshade' lights in each room) and they do a good job keeping the common areas clean.  I did not try to find the bathroom.  I went to Kristy and was very impressed with her skills based on her age (that is saying a lot as I am really picky).  I did go home and do some chopping because I didn't want to take the time to go back - I would rather have it a little too long than too short, but she really did a nice job on both the cut and the color (highlights and lowlights).  Each stylist/tech lists their pricing on the website which I really appreciate.  I have found my new stylist. I think we can all agree we have good days and bad days at work: afterall, no job or day is perfect.  If ever there was an exception to the rule, that person may be Tiffany.I have been going to Tiffany for several years now.  At first meeting/visit, I was amazed at her ability to execute a perfect cut, make my time in the chair relaxing and enjoyable, and her willingness to go the extra mile.  Ok, I thought.  Everyone treats new clients well...I'll ride this wave while it lasts, and then settle into "the usual" service that most people in the industry offer.  It. Never.  Happened.  She continues to exceed expectations, years into seeing me on a very regular basis.  She's been through my "can you make me look like this" phases, as well as my, "let me just sit in the chair and complain a little phase."  She's navigated my "can you get me in last minute because my schedule is crazy" phase, as well as my "what's the meaning of life" phase.  She is Everything you would want in a stylist: personable, knowledgeable, and adaptable.  There is such a fine balance between blending a person wants, and delivering what a person needs, and she sails through with ease and grace.  Tiffany is one of the smartest, kindest, and most enjoyable people I've ever met, and I feel fortunate each time I see her.  I am happier on the inside and out after my time in her chair, and I know you will be too. It's sort of strange to write a review of "Salon Lofts" as a business, because the point of going here is to patronize the individual businesses of the salon/spa service providers inside. Still, if you are considering coming to Salon Lofts generally or this location specifically, there's a few things to know:1) I like the online scheduling system. I get text message confirmations, and I can easily see what my hair stylist has available. However, I wish it were easier to cross-schedule... like request anyone for a manicure, waxing, etc, and then see who fits with my schedule if I don't have a specific person in mind. 2) Parking here is terrible. The (former) Blockbuster video across the street is vacant, so there's some parking there. But, there's really no where close and convenient to cross High Street. So, you're stuck playing Frogger. I like that this location is walkable from where I live in German Village, but I still have trouble crossing High without going several blocks out of my way. 3) Inside, the space is clean and pretty, if a little cramped. Immediately inside, there's a place where they display who takes walkins and who is available. I've never used this system or seen it in action, but the information is there. Hopefully it is accurate. This location seems to be mostly hair stylists. If there were other services there, I might be more inclined to make it a one-stop shop. I don't know if Salon Lofts as a franchise tries to mix the services provided at each location, but that would be nice.4) I wish there was more waiting room space, and I wish it were in front. When the stylist is running late or working in a lot of clients, the space inside the little rooms can get cramped. I usually just stand awkwardly at the front and play on my phone. Read Less

I started going to Leilani years ago and found out that she specialized in extensions (which I had always been interested in). I was a little hesitant in trying them but Leilani took the time, explained how it worked, how to care for them, etc. So I did it....and am IN LOVE!!!! Leilani transformed me and my hair and I feel like a movie star every time I leave her salon. Nobody can believe that my hair is really extensions and not my own. Leilani blended them in so well to my natural hair that sometimes I even forget! She also educates me on how to care for my hair and extensions and brings in new products for me to try. In addition to her extreme professionalism and talents, she is a wonderful person and I trust her 100% with my hiar. I went to Leilani after being with another stylist for a few years. My hair is pretty healthy and because I'm kind of lazy when it comes to my hair, I wanted something no-frills but could look great either styled, curled, or flat-ironed or air-dried. Leilani did an amazing job listening to my needs. She cut my hair ever so slightly so I could grow it out...and then she gave me styling tips and made me look amazing. What's even better is that as we developed our relationship, she encouraged me to try out different looks, use specific products to grow my hair, and try out different styling techniques. As a result, I feel like my hair has evolved into a sophisticated but fun style. I have always been disappointed in the past because stylists have not been able to see past the misconception that bold colors cannot be worn on an every day basis.
