Jenny was very friendly and professional. She did my balance and wax and I left very satisfied! This is definitely going to be my go to place! No more hunting to find real people that treat you like a person rather than a number or a dollar. I went there again today and the lady who seems like the manager did my nails and was in a hurry and painted them messy. There is bubbles on my nails from the clear nail polish being old. Ummm well. My manicure SUCKS. The guy didnt paint any of my nails all the way, and left the sides unpainted which makes the gel peel so much faster. He sliced my finger with the buffing tool on multiple fingers. My thumb nail is already coming off. Obviously, im going back for a complete do-over considering my nails cost me $45. Facility was nice, girl at the front was very friendly, but in less than 2 weeks I had 3 nails pop off! Tech was not very friendly, maybe having a bad day? When she filed my nails they sloped down and when I asked her to straighten them out and she got upset. $30 for regular white tips, short length. Wanted $45 for coffin shape? $15 extra for different SHAPE? I hate trying to find a new nail tech..Will not be returning! Well I gave them a second, third and 4th try and I have been very pleased. So I have taken my time writing a review as I felt like I needed to go here a few times before really deciding.  My first visit was in the morning and it was great as I beat the rush and was able to really look around.  It is a nice space, convenient​ parking, beautiful fish tank and nice people.  However, my gel manicure seemed a bit rushed (no cuticle​ oil or a hand massage) and when I got into the car and was in the sunshine I could see the bubbles/bumps on two different nails.  While this isn't the end of the world by any means I just thought it was the color I choose and that I should look more carefully next time before leaving.  The second time I went in the place smelt so toxic I almost left and the receptionist​ was nice enough to turn on the fans. My gel manicure was going really well until she cut my skin and I started to bleed and then she pulled on my cuticle a bit too​ much and/or closely and made me bleed again.  While the polish was nice I was a bit moody about what had occurred​ and how I didn't receive at least a discount (once another salon cut me and my manicure was free). Again, no hand massage so now I realize that didn't come with the gel manicure.  The third time, and last time I went in I had a younger man.  It was early morning and I had made the appointment so I would for sure get in (weekend).  I'm sure by now your asking why did I return.  Well, ​both times the manicures lasted the whole two weeks without peeling even with the bumps in the first one so I thought one last time.  This time the fella was very friendly and I saw him come in with what I thought was like a juice or something then I overheard​ the receptionist​ mention something​​n about his drink.  He replied something along the lines to warm him up.  It was a wine cooler and it was like 11:30 in the morning.   At this point, ​I am almost ready​ to walk out by he had already started​.  Luckily he did not drink any more​ of it while I was there but I have told people since and do think it is very unprofessional.  The gel manicure again had two bubbles​ and I just left as I had other places to be.So, with all this being said I will not be going back unless I really, really need something.  While the receptionist​ is really nice, she seems to be in high school and doesn't do the nails (or I haven't seen her anyway) I just don't think the end product is worth it when there are so many other salons.  Additionally​, none of the tools came out of the ​sanitized packaging​.  I do like their hot towels but I'd trade that in for confirmed sanitized tools and a hand massage​. I’ve been going to this salon for years. I moved to Chicago for a couple of years and never found a salon as good as Q Nails. I have also tried many different salons throughout Columbus and have yet to find one this good. Prices are industry norm and quality is exceptional. Read Less

I used to go to this salon all the time. Honestly the only ones who can do Acrylic are the owners. Anytime someone else did my nails they looked awful. Pedicures I never really had complaints although I heard a few people complain in there that they're unsanitary. I stopped going after the 4th time of hating my nails & throwing money away. The nail tech I had was awesome and understanding what I wanted my finished full set to look like, and when the tips were finished I was really pleased. However the acrylic job he did was very sub par. I got my full set on Sunday, and by Wednesday it looks like I need a balance already. He did not treat my cuticles and was more interested in watching the NFL game playing behind him than doing my nails. I've gone here several times, mostly because of proximity to where I live. I recently got a pedicure here for the first time, and discovered unsanitary practices. They re-use the pumice stones for pedicures (in Ohio these and other porous instruments are to be thrown away after one use, as they can't be sanitized). They also use cheese graters on feet (again, Ohio state board of cosmetology does not allow these). My gel manis tend to be hit or miss, depending on the nail tech. The techs talked thru our ENTIRE service, to their co workers,loudly.I mean literally 6-7 techs chatting it up and laughing and talking so darn loud.Completely ignoring us. I already had a headache and the constant yelling of the 10 year old working the door barking at the 8 year old cleaning stations & folding towels about pushed me over the edge. Had a great technician named Brian. However, since QNails expanded it is more chaotic. They ran out of hot water so my pedicure was in room temperature water. QNails is a salon that I will visit again. The decor is nicely done, large selection of polish, and a good number of options for services. Services are in between $15-$45, all depending on what you want done. Even on a Saturday, I was immediately seated for a pedicure. The technician I had was extremely thorough and made sure that my nails were cut the way I wanted them. The regular pedicure was luxurious which included a nice smelling scrub and lotion. I then was ushered to get my gel manicure. It was my first time having one and it did not disappoint. For a manicure and pedicure, I was out in about an hour tops. This is a gorgeous salon! I walked in and was immediately impressed. Service was quick and my feet were quickly soaking. I opted for the Delux Pedicure ($45) and was not disappointed. The basic pedi runs $30 and the fancy something or other is $60. The tech (Lan) working on my burly man-feet took her time and was very thorough. I have my favorite technicians but honestly everyone here does an amazing job.  Their prices are very reasonable and with the new renovations, they can now handle the demand. I love this place. I have been going here for a few years now. It's a family business and everyone is very nice and accommodating. It is clean and comfortable. I believe that they are expanding into next door which is good because they're always busy. I try to make an appointment, but they are really good with fitting in walk in customers. Have been going to Q nails for several years & was extremely disappointed yesterday by what happened. My friend & I went there around 1 o'clock for a mani-pedi & they were extremely busy which is understandable for a Saturday so we were asked if we minded signing the sheet & come back around 2:30...they also took our phone number. Well, we left, trying to figure out what to do to waste time & then came back. 3 people went in right before us & signed the sheet for mani-pedis. ...When the girl at the desk saw us, we told her we had come back, she had us find our names on the sheet & we noticed that we had been marked off...like we had already been taken care of. She looked a little confused when she realized that we had not been taken care of but told us that would get us in which we assumed would be next so we picked out our nail color, stood there for about 5 to 10 minutes & then the people that had just come in right before us where called for their pedis, we could not believe it...they had just walked in! We looked at each other & at them & decided to leave still not believing being treated that way. Someone came up & said that there would be chairs open real soon when it was realized that we were leaving but at that point, we said forget it & left after already trying to get mani-pedis for almost 2 hours! Now I know that things happen & get messed up especially when it is very busy like it was, but what had happened was just not right & am extremely disappointed. My friend wants to go back sometime this week to have the mani-pedis done...for me...I'm not so sure which is too bad since have always liked the place, the people & the work that they have done in the past. I went in yesterday for the first time and will NEVER go back. The guy that did my fill burned me in 1 spot and cut me in 2 others. The shape of my nails are an absolute disgrace but I wanted to get out and never look back. First he told me $27 for a fill but charged me $40. 3 nails have bubbles in the gel and 2 are so misshapen that it looks like I have abnormal growths under the gel. I travel all the way from Hilliard to here and I even came here the day before my wedding and brought my girls and husband. Everyone was very pleased with the job well done by the workers.
