I do my nails every week or two in many different places. I have had my nails done here several times before with girl named Denisa (sorry if I mispelled) and she was great. Today I came out with totally different impression. First of all, I admit it's my fault I could have come earlier to take off my previous gels and I can blame myself for it, however still never ever any professional manicurist would so badly file a nail surface! Blaming the gel's brand isn't a good excuse... because I would say keeping it 2 /3 minutes longer would work (and personally I find OPI comes off easier but we may have different experience). As this horrible filing I can at least explain by not having enough time then for the way they were painted there is no excuse. Uneven and some of the nails are painted about 2mm away from the skin at the base of the nail. So in 4/5 days I will need to take them off as they are going to look like after 2 weeks. Only two ladies were able to tell (from the photo of my nails done in this saloon few month ago and I wanted exactly the same thing ) what I want but rest of the girls seemed to not know their products. My nails were done to a very good standard or (so I thought at the time) beautiful design and I was told to go for the gels as the lady doing my nails was better at them and they would be just as good as acrylics. However having been to a salon close to home to have then removed I had not much luck as she said they would not budge. I was recommended to gently soak and file them over time. Having trying this with failure and then contacting the salon to get the same advice I carried on again. My nails have never felt so bad. They are painful to touch and you can see on some of them pressure marks. The nails were hurting having them on and taking them off hasn't given me any relief. I feel like I really won't be getting my nails done again :-( a little disappointed in the end by what was a very lovely job. Read Less
