They are horrible I got acrylic fulll set and my right pointer finger was so uneven he said it was because of how my finger is shaped but I told him well I have never had that problem before. I'm so happy to have found this nail salon!  I live just down the street and since this salon is open on Sundays, it's a perfect place for me to get my nails done over the weekend.  I just wish I had noticed it sooner!  I've gotten regular (non-gel/acrylic) manicures & pedicures here.  The salon is very clean and the foot baths & nail instruments are clean & hygienic.  They accept walk-ins no problem, but I always call to make an appointment & I've never had to wait.  Jenny did my nails this weekend and did a 100% fantastic job, plus we had a nice chat which is always a bonus!  She really took her time with everything & it was perfect, did not feel rushed in any way.The price of the services are quite low in exchange for the quality you get - a mani/pedi was under $50 (not including the tip - but please tip well, they deserve it!)  They also offer waxing & facial services in addition to nails.  This place is great!  If you're in the area do yourself a favor & check them out!  This is my new default nail salon. This place is relatively clean and it was easy to just walk right in to be seen. Their polish selection was decent and I have definitely seen both smaller and larger selectionsThey never asked me what type of pedicure I wanted but it seemed pretty basic to me and still cost $35. I would expect a BASIC pedicure to be between 25-30 unless I'm at a higher end salon. Overall - nothing overly offensive but nothing stood out as being exceptional.? Read Less

When I first walked in, all the workers looked at me but not one single worker greeted me. From my past experiences and jobs, I was always taught to always greet the customer walking in even if u can't be with there that second and just say, "Hello welcome to City Nails, we'll be right with you...sign in and take a seat please". Something is better than nothing and completely ignoring me. They are also not very friendly. I said "Hello" when I was signing in and they all looked away. I then sat in a chair in the waiting area (there was also a lay waiting here when I walked in too) for about ten minutes until someone greeted me. He came up to the front and asked what I was getting done. I told him just a balance for my acrylics. He then without looking said "can you come back later? We have someone coming in". It was like he wanted me to leave. But, I said "sure...do u know what time later?" He spoke to who I would guess is the manager and then proceed to walk away and put up his index finger as in wait one minute...then the other guy looked at me and I said I'm sorry how long is the wait and he said 15-20 minutes so I said I would wait. I waited about 25 minutes until I had to leave to be somewhere by 640pm. I wish they would of told me it would be longer than 20 minutes so I could of gone somewhere else because I had stuff to do. They defiantly need more workers if they are going to have walk-ins as well as appointments. I will not be doing a walk in again if I decide to even come back to this place. You for sure need an appointment if you don't wanna wake for 30+ minutes for a simple nail balance. Read Less

I had just moved to Columbus and needed to find a nail salon.  After going to 4 different salons and not happy with any of the four, I found City Nails.After several visits here, I can honestly say they pass the test.I'm one that enjoys being creative and they've always accommodated my ideas and always discuss with me their opinions.  They've always been right and I leave with beautiful nails.I am very picky and they go out of their way to make me happy. It was a nice experience. There were other people too getting something or the other done so it seems to be a busy going place. You can definitely give it a try here and see for yourself. The massage chair was really good.I gave it 4 stars just coz it was not a wow experience for me and maybe there could have been been better foot massage. I went to City Nails for the first time today, and I must say I am very satisfied. I got a full set w/ white nails and designs on my ring fingers. I really like that the acrylic is not too thick or too thin. Also, he got the length perfect. The only reason I gave this shop 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because I was there for at least 2 1/2 hours on a Monday! They were very accommodating though. They allowed me to find something on Netflix while I waited, and started my set in-between appointments. I will definitely make an appointment the next time. City Nails has a new regular:)UPDATE: So after having my nails on for only a week they began to lift. My thumb nail came completely off by day 10! I was really disappointed. I went to another nail shop closer to my home for a balance & repair. It's been over a week and my nails are still intact & it's looks like I might be able to get THREE weeks from this fill because they look they did when a left the shop. ICity Nails I'm sure do a great job on gel nails & Pedi's but acrylic is clearly not their specialty. Well at least not the tech I went to. Read Less

They did such a good job, especially on my shellacs even though I bite my nails. The employees were polite and nice. I didn't have to wait at all, even on a Sunday. I wished my foot massage was a little longer, but the massage chairs to sit in for the pedicures were wonderful. Read Less

They are consistently accommodating, nice, efficient and friendly. They don't mind if you walk in feeling less than social but they'll be more than happy to have a good conversation with you if you're in the mood. They get a bit harried if there's a lot of people to accommodate but all in all, they do a wonderful job and listen to what you want. Read Less

This place was recommended to me and i am so glad i didn't judge it by location or appearance. I went in for a balance and polish change. It was $24 and only took 45 minutes. It was alittle awkward inside. very clean!!!!!! my nails looks the best they ever have. not too chunky. he did the shape that i like without question. I am new to Columbus and was going to try them for the first time b/c of reviews on yelp. I showed up at noon and there was only 1 other person in getting a manicure. I signed in for a pedicure and was looking for a nail polish. A man came up to me and asked if all I wanted was a polish change, I told him I wanted a full pedicure. He asked if I could come back b/c they had an appointment coming in. I said no I would find another place. I went to majestic nails on Dublin Granville rd which was so accommodating and far nicer.If you don't accept walk ins, take the "walk ins" sign off your door City Nails. I won't be trying them again. I picked this place based solely on the Yelp reviews and it did not disappoint. (Seriously, how did I ever make any decisions before Yelp?) While its location, in a non-descript strip mall, could make it easy to miss; that would be a mistake. I went in on a Saturday morning and didn't have to wait long at all. It's definitely flip flop season and I haven't had a pedi for 3 months. Desperately needed one. Looked on yelp and found City Nails with five star rating and I decided to give it a try. There was no wait but again it was 3 in the afternoon. I was immediately serviced and pointed to my seat. I have very sensitive feet and highly ticklish. The nail tech is so gentle with my feet, he really took his time on shaping my nails and getting all the goo out :) he didn't try to make any small talks with me. I love that! Don't judge this place by the rundown strip mall it's located in. I was hesitant to enter, but I am so glad I did!I was greeted promptly and sat within 10 minutes. Not a bad wait considering they were pretty busy. I got an acrylic fill in with gel polish as well as a brow wax and was only there a little over an hour. That's amazing! Decently priced too! I really like this place.  I came here on my birthday to treat myself to a mani pedi.  I got a gel manicure and a regular pedicure.  I walked right in on a Saturday and didn't have to wait.  Lucky me!I had my pedicure first, which was awesome.  Their pedicure chairs are also massage chairs, which I always love.  Plus, my tech just let me play on my phone and didn't try to make small talk with me, which I personally love.  The salon was quieter than most and didn't smell bad.  Since I'm also pregnant, this was a welcome change from most nail salons.Next we moved onto the gel manicure and they have an impressive number of colors to choose from in their gel polishes.  A lot of salons only have a few, but this one has like 50.  The manicure also went well and they had a small heater for me to put my feet in front of while he did my nails.  Overall, the tech did a beautiful job and the place is conveniently located and reasonably priced (not the cheapest, but still cheaper than a big name salon).  I will definitely be back! And I know he would let me know if he is going on vacation. two weeks later i received a call from Timmy said he relocated to another nails salon up in Dublin called "Nail Quest".
