This is by far the best Mani and Pedi I have ever been given. All the staff was friendly. I went here with my bestie for a girl day out. I was very well pleased. Ashley did both my Mani and Pedi. The absolute best nail salon in Columbus. I waited for 2 weeks after my nails were done before I posted this review. I work in a warehouse and I am hard on my nails. I tried the dipping method and my nails still look like I just had them done yesterday. The staff is so friendly and I actually enjoyed having my nails done. I just came back from my first visit here and I am thoroughly underwhelmed. When I came in, there was one other client getting her nails done and a handful of employees. Immediately upon arrival, one of the employees (brunette woman with tacky tattoo) was huffing and puffing and acting irritated every time the phone rang. She was loudly complaining about the customers as if the phone was ringing off the hook (it rang twice) and yelled that she wasn't going to answer it again. All in front of two customers.... I called the salon a few times before I came in, I have no doubt this socially inept woman was complaining about me as well. So bizarre and unprofessional. It left a bad taste in my mouth for the duration of my stay. She also didn't have any concept of an inside voice and was quite obnoxious, I couldn't unwind and relax while listening to her make weed jokes. Yes... cracking jokes about illegal drugs at your place of work in front of customers. I couldn't make this up if I tried. So trashy and déclassé. I wanted to get out of there as fast as possible. I was supposed to get a mani/pedi but just hightailed it out of there after getting my pedi. The obese employee in desperate need of a nose job was super unprofessional as well. Didn't greet me, and was rude when speaking to me. She didn't even take off my dip gel properly. And lastly, when I asked for the WiFi they all were reluctant to give it to me and claimed they didn't know the password. Even if they didn't, take the time to call the manager and ask. I am a paying client and should have access to the WiFi.  I have been to nail salons all over the world and used to get mani/pedis on an extremely frequent basis. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable in a salon in my life. The whole vibe of the place was off putting and strange. Will never be coming here again. I will say the girl who did my pedicure wasn't totally off putting and did a decent job, but does it really matter if I couldn't stand being in there for one second? Ugh. Read Less

Came here tonight For a gel manicure. I had Ashley who was very friendly and thorough with her manicure. The salon is decorated nicely and very clean. They take appointments and walk ins. 614 Nail Bar is hands down THE BEST nail salon. The staff is friendly and very prompt. The attention to detail is what I have been looking for. Mylinh and her girls are phenomenal! She is always quick to work with me and my crazy schedule as a full time working single momma! She has done a fantastic job with my nails! I was skeptic in going for acrylics when I first started going to Lin in July! I have had them before and always felt like people were always in a rush, they would lift and then it would be more of a headache than something I enjoyed. Lin proved that I didn’t need to worry! She pays close attention to detail which I love and she does it efficiently!!!! No lifting, they help up so well and always drilled thin and looked so natural! I went into this shop hoping that they could shorten a poorly done dip nail job. Unfortunately they were not able to BUT, they did a fantastic job at removing the dip/acrylic nail and replacing it with Gel Nails. All the ladies were very friendly and took the time to listen to what I wanted and came through with a very pretty set of natural looking nails! After finding out about this place from a co-worker I tried it out myself and just loved it. I loved it so much that I arranged a pre-wedding nail party for my daughters bridal party for her wedding last month for 10 people and could not have been happier! Lihn did an amazing job of keeping track of appointments for everyone and arranged for some cheese platters and wine during our party! She kept me updated as we added and removed people, etc I could not have asked for more! All the girls were amazing and everyone loved their mani and pedis! I was disappointed with my nails. After closer inspection when I got home I realized my nail teach did not polish all the way down the nail bed. My nails looked like they were 1-2 weeks old. The polish looked great otherwise. The salon was clean and super cute but I wasn't a fan of the forced small talk and endless questions from my nail tech. I just wasn't really in the mood for a full blown conversation but she was not taking the hint. Also, I got a gel manicure and one of the nails completely chipped after 3 days. Purchased a Groupon and was able to get an appointment quickly as needed. The nail technicians were friendly and they did a good job on our pedicures. FYI be prepared to pay for tax and tip via cash only (if you purchased the Groupon). They don't let you use your credit card to tip bc there's a $10 minimum. Some small businesses I've been to (including hair salons) have never charged me tax before, and let me tip using my credit card - so today was a first for me. So just make sure you're carrying cash on you if you a purchased a Groupon for this nail salon. Still recommend their services though as they did a nice job! Read Less

I purchased a Groupon for a gel mani and pedi. I expected it would be difficult to make an appt since they had the Groupon special, but it was actually easy to book my services, which was great! They were very flexible and moved my appt up on the day it was scheduled so that I could come in after leaving work early. Shannon was very sweet and did a great job. My cuticles are sore from the cold weather and she was gentle in cleaning them up. She did a great job and I'm very happy with my gel mani. All the ladies in there were friendly and I could tell the other clients were enjoying themselves :-) Will absolutely be back! Read Less
