The salon will shove products down your throat which are pricey and subpar. You can get similar items at places like Ulta for half the price. I went to Valerie for a haircut and she told me my color was off. I agreed to come see her next week and that's when she started shoving products down my throat. I will be going back this week to return them because I realize she was just making commission. She seems to have nothing but openings and I can see why... When people come to see her instead of listening to them and doing what they want her to do she does whatever she wants so after only going to see her one time people never go back unless maybe they like having horrible hair. I showed her my extension and asked her to match the color and instead she gave me a hideous shade of blonde. I was there for 4 1/2 hours. I have never sat in anyone's chair for 4 1/2 hours to get disastrous results. I made the mistake of coming here because I was given a coupon. Never again. She kept giving me samples during both appointments of their product line and then when I told her I was not interested she seemed let down and I wanted to kick the chair over and give her a piece of my mind because these damn products cost like 60 bucks a bottle and I have plenty of products at home.She had trimmed my hair only five days before and then during my color session she said encouraged me to get another haircut and told me she had time to do it right then. Of course she did... She never has any other clients.. She clearly is only trying to make money because I don't know what human being on the planet would need 2 haircuts in one week. When I got home I was in dire straits and called the girl who normally does my hair at a different salon and luckily she was able to fit me in for the next day because I had events to attend over the weekend and I wasn't fit to be seen in public after what Valerie did to my hair. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Sticking with my normal girl and staying far away from this money grubby salon Dante Lucci with poorly trained stylists. Thank God for sites like this where I can warn other people.

I took my fiancé to Dante's for a pedicure as a birthday gift. I did get a pedicure for myself, and I did enjoy it. Maggie and Meram did a great! The place is big and spacious and the chairs for the pedicure was comfy! The reason for only 4 stars was the receptionist weren't the most friendly and the price was a little high. I would recommend Dante's and please ask for Maggie and Marem because they were professional and you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Waseela Krall at Dante Lucci in Avon. She's done my hair for two years and has helped me through the process of growing it long. Her Keratin treatments and expert coloring have transformed my grey, shoulder length hair to very long, smooth hair in my natural color. My husband loves it! She's delightful, professional and very good at her craft.

Outstanding!! First time to RR DL and I couldn't be happier. I've been on a 2-3 year search for a good salon/stylist and my search is finally over. Monica is an artist! She did exactly what I wanted but couldn't put into words when I walked in - balayage/cut/style - it came out beautiful! I'm a low maintenance person when it comes to my hair and Monica made sure my cut/color could be wash-and-wear as well as a great foundation for a sexy date-night look. Double win, from the second I met Monica she was a doll. I walked out feeling like I just got out of a great coffee date with a good friend. I will be back most definitely and look forward to it with excitement! 🤗

I've had mixed experiences here but the last one was the last time I'll try it. Some stylists are great and others are just okay. I didn't feel I was treated great the last time I was in. I had a promo code that they tried to tell me I wasn't able to use after the haircut was done but they knew about it when I made the appointment. Also some of the better stylists have recently left and it just isn't the same.

Went here recently for a haircut because my regular stylist was booked. Pretty salon with nice staff. The stylist who cut my hair did a good job. She was friendly and efficient. The products they use are specific to their salon I believe. I appreciated that there was not a big push to purchase products. I do prefer Aveda products or Aquage, but these products were nice enough too. Apparently they are dog friendly too for those pet lovers out there. There wasn't anything extra about this place (such as the mini facial and scalp massage you get an Aveda salon), but my stylist did a good job so it may become my back up salon.

The color is phenomenal and the cut is literally everything I've been wanting. He explained every product he was using and how it benefitted my hair. Being someone with a cosmetology background, I really appreciated the superb customer service I received today. Both of them made my experience super awesome and I cannot wait to come back. Everyone was super friendly. I don't know if I can say enough good things about this place. I flat out loved everything.

I went in a complete mess with half of my natural blonde hair at the top and the bottom half all black that has been saturated and died the past two years. Bradley Pahl at the Rocky River location started working on my hair and he soon realized that I would be a fantastic redhead! I have never loved my hair more and I feel I have a personal relationship with a stylist now that I will 100% be going back to every time. :)

I really wanted to love this place. The staff at the entrance were not welcoming. I came here three times for hair cut and color and each time i was not seen until 30 plus minutes after my schedule appointment time. There were multiple highlight bleeds through out my hair. This place needs to make sure their hair stylist are trained. For the amount of money you pay $$$$, one would think you are receiving great service. Checking out was a disaster as well. I felt as though i was bothering them to pay my bill. I will not go back and do not recommend this place.

It almost makes me hope I have to wait a little bit before my appointment!My stylist is phenomenal-ask for Yvette! She always does exactly what I ask and offers up suggestions but never pushes ideas on me. They also have great products but don't push you to buy, either. Of you're like me there's nothing that more annoying than that!It's a fun and upbeat atmosphere and the staff is warm and approachable yet edgy and professional.

Really wanted to love this place because it looks fresh and stylish and cute and I've heard good things! Went in for the first time for a shellac manicure and pedicure today. Unfortunately the customer service was just lacking. I was rushed the entire time, even though I arrived early and they didn't start me until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. She complained that I had shellac polish on that needed removal, though I had told the receptionist that by phone when making the Appt. There was a lot of sighing and frantic pace to the entire experience and I mentioned two times that I was a first time guest. Didn't feel welcomed like my business would be wanted back. When I asked a question about how to use the pedicure chair, the stylist said "I have no idea - I've never sat in it." Lastly, she asked me to leave the chair to find my own place to sit in the salon to dry my toes as she was late to her next Appt. Luckily I found a comfortable quiet area on my own and I will acknowledge that her foot massage was very well done.

I went here on a deal through Groupon. I was really impressed! The décor is clean, fresh, modern and fun! I was warmly greeted and offered a beverage, as I waited for Mo (I was early for my appointment). Mo was great. I showed him a picture of what I was hoping for, and he gave me exactly what I wanted! He made me feel comfortable the entire time I was in his chair and I was overly pleased with his work. I didn't know what to expect coming to this salon. Having a Groupon to pay for my service, I expected to get very minimal service; I was wrong. I was very impressed from the minute I walked in the door, till the minute I left. I will definitely be returning, and will recommend to my friends.

I hadn't been to Dante Lucci in a few years and was scheduled for a cut and highlight with a ""junior"" stylist, Jenny. I was 25 minutes late for my appointment and was frantic. She was INCREDIBLY GRACIOUS considering my tardiness and did what I think is a FABULOUS job with a cut and two-color highlight. The prices are competitive and atmosphere is professional and relaxed. I love the new decor as well. I will definitely stay with Jenny and Dante Lucci.

I have been getting my hair cut at Dante Lucci's for two years now. I went there because my stylist quit Maxelle's and joined Dante Lucci's and I just tagged along. My stylist Debbie is the best. She knows exactly what would look good.. I am one of those people who are never sure what they want but Debbie needs no direction... There is magic in those hands.... Then there is Jessica who does my manicure and pedicure. She is so dedicated and always leaves me with a great feeling of being pampered, the way I want to be when I am at a salon. My nails look excellent after she is done with them. The service at Dante Lucci's is also great. The receptionist are always friendly and willing to help. I really like Melissa, who like Debbie also came over from Maxelle's. If you are looking for a salon on the west-side Dante Lucci's is the place to go.

I had a bad experience at Dante Lucci. I was nervous because I had not had my hair done by this girl, but she listened to what I asked for and sounded confident in what she was going to do. I was getting my hair cut and colored only a slightly different shade of blond (which is my natural color). Well, it was colored first and it ended up orange. The girl didn't seem to know what to do and was asking everyone else and leaving me for long periods of time to sit there alone wondering if my hair was going to fall out from this. The worst part was that when she did finally come out of the back room, she gave me an attitude and didn't apologize even though I never complained. She only took 10 minutes to cut my hair since so much time had been spent on the coloring which was still an ""off"" color when I left. Although the color and cut were bad, the worst part was the attitude that came along with it, very unprofessional. I never went back. I am more afraid then ever to get my hair done for the first time with someone after this experience; I have colored my hair myself with color from Loreal and Revlon with good results since then. I guess she didn't know what she was doing.

I was referred by someone to get my hair cut at Dante Lucci's, and of course I was a little hesitant in trying out a new place and a new person in styling my hair. However, I was very pleased with the hairstylist that was recommended to me. The stylist's name is Diana and she is awesome!! She knows her stuff! She was very knowledgeable about the products that she used on me, she also offered suggestions on what products to use on my type of hair, as well as styling tips. She was very pleasant to speak to while getting the cut done, she was very personable and did not make me feel pressured to buy any of the products she used on my hair. The next time my hair is due for a coloring, I am going to her, just because I trust that she will do a great job!! Thanks again Diana!

The place is big and spacious and the chairs for the pedicure was comfy! The reason for only 4 stars was the receptionist weren't the most friendly and the price was a little high. I would recommend Dante's and please ask for Maggie and Marem because they were professional and you won't be disappointed!

I highly recommend Waseela Krall at Dante Lucci in Avon. She's done my hair for two years and has helped me through the process of growing it long. Her Keratin treatments and expert coloring have transformed my grey, shoulder length hair to very long, smooth hair in my natural color. My husband loves it! She's delightful, professional and very good at her craft.

Outstanding!! First time to RR DL and I couldn't be happier. I've been on a 2-3 year search for a good salon/stylist and my search is finally over. Monica is an artist! She did exactly what I wanted but couldn't put into words when I walked in - balayage/cut/style - it came out beautiful! I'm a low maintenance person when it comes to my hair and Monica made sure my cut/color could be wash-and-wear as well as a great foundation for a sexy date-night look. Double win, from the second I met Monica she was a doll. I walked out feeling like I just got out of a great coffee date with a good friend. I've had mixed experiences here but the last one was the last time I'll try it. Some stylists are great and others are just okay. I didn't feel I was treated great the last time I was in. I had a promo code that they tried to tell me I wasn't able to use after the haircut was done but they knew about it when I made the appointment. Also some of the better stylists have recently left and it just isn't the same.

Went here recently for a haircut because my regular stylist was booked. Pretty salon with nice staff. The stylist who cut my hair did a good job. She was friendly and efficient. The products they use are specific to their salon I believe. I appreciated that there was not a big push to purchase products. I do prefer Aveda products or Aquage, but these products were nice enough too. Apparently they are dog friendly too for those pet lovers out there. There wasn't anything extra about this place (such as the mini facial and scalp massage you get an Aveda salon), but my stylist did a good job so it may become my back up salon.

The color is phenomenal and the cut is literally everything I've been wanting. He explained every product he was using and how it benefitted my hair. Being someone with a cosmetology background, I really appreciated the superb customer service I received today. Both of them made my experience super awesome and I cannot wait to come back. Everyone was super friendly. I don't know if I can say enough good things about this place. I flat out loved everything.

Bradley Pahl at the Rocky River location started working on my hair and he soon realized that I would be a fantastic redhead! I really wanted to love this place. The staff at the entrance were not welcoming. I came here three times for hair cut and color and each time i was not seen until 30 plus minutes after my schedule appointment time. There were multiple highlight bleeds through out my hair. This place needs to make sure their hair stylist are trained. For the amount of money you pay $$$$, one would think you are receiving great service. Checking out was a disaster as well. I felt as though i was bothering them to pay my bill. I will not go back and do not recommend this place.

It almost makes me hope I have to wait a little bit before my appointment!My stylist is phenomenal-ask for Yvette! She always does exactly what I ask and offers up suggestions but never pushes ideas on me. They also have great products but don't push you to buy, either. Of you're like me there's nothing that more annoying than that!It's a fun and upbeat atmosphere and the staff is warm and approachable yet edgy and professional.

Really wanted to love this place because it looks fresh and stylish and cute and I've heard good things! Went in for the first time for a shellac manicure and pedicure today. Unfortunately the customer service was just lacking. I was rushed the entire time, even though I arrived early and they didn't start me until 15 minutes after my scheduled time. She complained that I had shellac polish on that needed removal, though I had told the receptionist that by phone when making the Appt. There was a lot of sighing and frantic pace to the entire experience and I mentioned two times that I was a first time guest. Didn't feel welcomed like my business would be wanted back. When I asked a question about how to use the pedicure chair, the stylist said "I have no idea - I've never sat in it." Lastly, she asked me to leave the chair to find my own place to sit in the salon to dry my toes as she was late to her next Appt. Luckily I found a comfortable quiet area on my own and I will acknowledge that her foot massage was very well done.

I went here on a deal through Groupon. I was really impressed! The décor is clean, fresh, modern and fun! I was warmly greeted and offered a beverage, as I waited for Mo (I was early for my appointment). Mo was great. I showed him a picture of what I was hoping for, and he gave me exactly what I wanted! He made me feel comfortable the entire time I was in his chair and I was overly pleased with his work. I didn't know what to expect coming to this salon. Having a Groupon to pay for my service, I expected to get very minimal service; I was wrong. I was very impressed from the minute I walked in the door, till the minute I left. I will definitely be returning, and will recommend to my friends.

I hadn't been to Dante Lucci in a few years and was scheduled for a cut and highlight with a ""junior"" stylist, Jenny. I was 25 minutes late for my appointment and was frantic. She was INCREDIBLY GRACIOUS considering my tardiness and did what I think is a FABULOUS job with a cut and two-color highlight. The prices are competitive and atmosphere is professional and relaxed. I love the new decor as well. I will definitely stay with Jenny and Dante Lucci.

I have been getting my hair cut at Dante Lucci's for two years now. I went there because my stylist quit Maxelle's and joined Dante Lucci's and I just tagged along. My stylist Debbie is the best. She knows exactly what would look good.. I am one of those people who are never sure what they want but Debbie needs no direction... There is magic in those hands.... Then there is Jessica who does my manicure and pedicure. She is so dedicated and always leaves me with a great feeling of being pampered, the way I want to be when I am at a salon. My nails look excellent after she is done with them. The service at Dante Lucci's is also great. The receptionist are always friendly and willing to help. I really like Melissa, who like Debbie also came over from Maxelle's. If you are looking for a salon on the west-side Dante Lucci's is the place to go.

I had a bad experience at Dante Lucci. I was nervous because I had not had my hair done by this girl, but she listened to what I asked for and sounded confident in what she was going to do. I was getting my hair cut and colored only a slightly different shade of blond (which is my natural color). Well, it was colored first and it ended up orange. The girl didn't seem to know what to do and was asking everyone else and leaving me for long periods of time to sit there alone wondering if my hair was going to fall out from this. The worst part was that when she did finally come out of the back room, she gave me an attitude and didn't apologize even though I never complained. She only took 10 minutes to cut my hair since so much time had been spent on the coloring which was still an ""off"" color when I left. Although the color and cut were bad, the worst part was the attitude that came along with it, very unprofessional. I never went back. I am more afraid then ever to get my hair done for the first time with someone after this experience; I have colored my hair myself with color from Loreal and Revlon with good results since then. I guess she didn't know what she was doing.

I was referred by someone to get my hair cut at Dante Lucci's, and of course I was a little hesitant in trying out a new place and a new person in styling my hair. However, I was very pleased with the hairstylist that was recommended to me. The stylist's name is Diana and she is awesome!! She knows her stuff! She was very knowledgeable about the products that she used on me, she also offered suggestions on what products to use on my type of hair, as well as styling tips. She was very pleasant to speak to while getting the cut done, she was very personable and did not make me feel pressured to buy any of the products she used on my hair. The next time my hair is due for a coloring, I am going to her, just because I trust that she will do a great job!! Thanks again Diana!
