I've been going to Ambiance Nail Salon for a couple years now.  It is difficult to find a salon that is quick and does a great job on nails.  After trying many different places and always being disappointed with the end result I was so thrilled to find this salon.  Sara does an excellent job at a reasonable price!  The Salon is very clean, relaxing and beautiful.  The staff is professional and always welcoming.  No need to look any further, I highly recommend Ambiance Nail Salon. It was a crazy day but we had a good time there. The staff was very pleasant, we had a party of 4 and our techs were Henry, Mandy, Alex and Tim. I recommend them all they were all amazing. I’m probably gonna go back by myself. I only really get pedicures once a year because i have awesome feet already but Mandy made them sparkle and shine so yep i will be back sooner. I really like this salon.  My favorite aspect is they pay attention to sterility.  They used plastic bags to line pedicure basins and their tools are in sterile bags.  The price point is fair at $33 for the basic pedicure.  The technicians are nice and there skill level is varied.  The chairs are comfortable.  I like the sugar scrub addition to the pedicure for $7 though sometimes its free during specials.  My technician today could have done better with nail shaping by paying more attention to that part of the experience but overall I like this salon and plan to return.  I have been twice and had good experiences both visits for manicure/pedicure combination.  Note they only take cash tips and also they do offer a five percent discount for cash payment.  They take appointments if you call at least an hour ahead but they also take walk ins.  It can get busy though so best to make an appointment.  This location is within the Harpers Point plaza. This place is okay. There's only a few people in there that have made my nails look great like Ti! She takes her time and makes sure I walk out happy. But this time I got stuck with the same lady, Ann, twice for a full set and a fill and both times they turned out horrible. She was rushing the whole time. :( I ended up leaving with a crooked nail and dents in my nails where there isn't enough acrylic laid.. she was nice to my face but was talking to her co worker next to her about me. I just went to the Ambiance II at Harper's Point & had SNS & a manicure done by Simon. He did exceptional work! He's very quick, but also thorough & efficient, as well as personable. I had the worst pedicure today. None of the dead skin on the bottom of my feet was taken care of, and when I said something, he snipped off a few pieces that were flaking and told me it was my fault because I was not sleeping with vasoline on my feet. I have been getting pedicures for about 20 years and have never has this problem, nor have I slept with vasoline on my feet. He did offer to give me a pumice stone to take home so I could do it myself. Thanks, but I am pretty sure that is what I just paid you $45 to do. Read Less

My experience at the new ambiance spa was amazing. I don't usually get my nails done but I want to go more often. The deluxe manicure was great and I loved the hot towel. Not to mention the spa itself was very pretty and inviting. The only issue was that it was very hard to understand my nail technician but other than that I had an amazing time! Read Less

I have seen the signs rating Ambiance a top nail salon everywhere 👍🏻😃🌺💅🏻. I am extremely pleased with the level of service. At Harper's Point, the technician I have gone to twice is very skilled, kind, friendly, quick and precise. I'm holding back disclosing her name as I still want to be able to schedule appointments with her. 😬 From past experience, my shellac only lasted 7 days. I had a great experience! This is my first time going to an Ambiance, I usually go to My regular salon but decided to check out Ambiance. The salon was very clean and the employees were very nice! Mandy did my pedicure which was amazing! Tommy did my SNS manicure. Both employees were very friendly and talked with me throughout the services. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I went Thursday evening to get my nails done and today (Sunday) one of my finger nails had a huge chip. I'm really disappointed that they chipped especially so soon. Overall, my experience was great and I would recommend, just wouldn't recommend getting SNS at this location. Read Less

I try to have realistic expectations whenever I get my nails done at a new place. It's a given that if you to any nail salon on a week day you're just not going to get as great of service as if you went on the weekend just due to the lack of people they have to impress. And it also completely depends on the nail tech you get as to what kind of experience you're going to have. I totally get that, so this may have just been a one-off scenario. I got a shellac color change done here on a Thursday afternoon during my lunch break at work. I normally do not go to this salon, but I needed my nails done asap and this place had great reviews, so it was my first time there. Aesthetically the place is beautiful inside, and their prices are pretty much what you'd expect.. not overpriced or anything. First, the receptionist was not pleasant - gave me the feeling like I was wasting her time and a bother. Next, the nail tech was nice and very efficient, which I always appreciate given the time crunch, but what blew my mind was when he put 4 coats of polish on one of my hands but only 3 coats on the other. I let it slide, assuming he knew what he was doing, but as you'd expect my hands ended up being two different colors at the end. He was taken back that I asked for another coat on the one hand to make them the same color, and told me that it was going to be "thicker" than the other hand. It wasn't the end of the world by any means, it just seemed careless and I didn't like how I had to point that out and he was just going to let it slide. Finally, it turns out they do not allow you to add a tip onto a credit/debit charge - they only accept cash for tips. They "tell" you this by posting a little plaque on each station WHILE you're getting your nails done. They have an ATM there to withdrawal the cash, but of course you get stuck with the convenience fee which is $2. Overall it wasn't an awful experience, I just wasn't impressed. No regrets, but I doubt I'll go back unless I'm in a bind again. Read Less

I've never had such a horrible gel manicure and acrylic manicure. I first went and had a gel manicure and it was awful. The woman did not take her time and THAT NIGHT the polish started peeling off of my nails in one big chunk. I then went back the day before my wedding for a mani/pedi and the pedicure was good. No complaints there. The manicure was not worth the money. She did not listen to me when I said I wanted shorter nails. She did not listen when I said I didn't want them so square. And after paying for a full manicure, I didn't even get a hand massage at the end. She couldn't get me out of her chair fast enough.. which really was unfortunate because I was looking forward to relaxing with my bridesmaids the day before my wedding. I will not be going back here. I've always had really great experiences here.  I don't get my nails done super often, so it's a special treat when I splurge.  Ambiance is always busy and was voted one of the best salons in Cincinnati.  Mimi did my nails yesterday and she was so sweet and did an awesome job, I'd highly recommend her!If you go m-th and check in you get $3 off anything over $30!I know I could find cheaper prices at a different salon(shellac mani was $36), but part of what you're paying for is the experience.  All of their equipment is well kept and it seems extremely clean which to me is worth a little extra money.Also, it's important to make note that they are unable to add gratuities on to a credit card/gift card so make sure to have cash for that!
