I have been visiting this salon about twice a month since right after they opened. It’s beautiful, clean, and I have always received great services. I love that the employees seem so happy and friendly and as if they enjoy being at work. The ladies and gentlemen who work here have all been very nice and skilled. The added touch of knowing I’m going to enjoy a margarita with my mani-pedi, makes me feel like I’m getting a good value as well. I have been serviced by just about everyone who’s worked here at one time or another, and I can’t really choose a favorite, because I’ve enjoyed all of them. I needed a pedi on a Sunday so I skipped my usual place and tried L V. At first glance this place is ok. I got offered a drink and I got a coke, that's a plus. The pedicure was pretty nice, I opted for a sugar scrub which is extra but it felt really good. I got a French polish that chipped with in 4 days. It totally bummed me out since I was on vacation and wanted my toes to look good for the beach and my flip flops. Won't be back! Read Less

So I was completely surprised by their pricing. They said they charged $25 JUST for gel polish on top of $22 for the fill in. They actually charge you the price of the bottle of polish just to get your nails painted. I travel all around the country getting my nails done (because of work), but I've NEVER seen prices like this! $50 for a gel fill in with gel polish!?! Are you serious?! I live in Chicago and even the spas will charge you $35 at the most. Ridiculous.Soooo....i went to Sally's, which is 0.5miles away and purchased 3 bottles of gel polish for $22 and got my nails done with my own polish that I can use over and over again. ..without them charging me for it. The tech was more focused on giving me a 5 minute calf and ankle massage than working on my nails. The massage feels good, but that's not why I'm there. She didn't push back my cuticles, just painted over them. She didn't clean underneath my nails either. I had to ask her to paint the edges of my nails, she said that she was, but she didn't. I came here to get a acrylic fill and to get one of my toe nails fixed since I chipped it. My toenails were just done 2 weeks ago and I usually wait a month between to get them repainted. I put my name down and the lady told me to follow her to the back at the pedicure chairs. I could tell she was prepared to give me a full pedicure, so I stopped her and explained that I just needed her to fix 1 chipped toenail. She went and got another guy to do it but he argued with me that my name was not called and I shouldn't be at the pedicure station. So I explained that the other lady did indeed say my name and told me to follow her, and I just wanted 1 toenail fixed. He became more and more aggressive and speaking his language and even went to get the sign in sheet which he again pointed at MY NAME so I told him "don't worry about it, I'll just get my fill for my hands and I'll fix my own toes." I walked in wanting to book an appointment and was told to write my name down in their walk in book and then come back in the estimated time ( the man behind the counter told me an hour). The time I waited was about correct. I believe I waited a little more than an hour, but was a fairly accurate time which was one of the only good things. I asked for color tips on my acrylic nails which was what I had already, I just needed a fill. The guy who did my nails argued with me that my nails were not acrylic and they were gel, and I can assure you they are acrylic powder nails. He then told me he has to take the whole nail off and start new and it would not be a fill it was going to be charged as a removal and a new set, which instead of 35$ it ended up being almost 60$. I said fine let's do it, since I was visiting from out of town and my nails were getting way too long. When he did the acrylic color tips he added the color first and then scraped off the excess with fake nails instead of the metal tool I've always seen used, and then he filled in the rest of my nail with a super dark pink acrylic which makes my nails look pink and purple and not just normal nails with a colored French tip. After he filled all my nails almost half the nail is color and half is the dark pink. He filled my nails to even them out and in doing so filled down some parts of the color tips so now there are gaps in the color on some of my nails. The nail tech added the top coat to make the nail shiny and when he was checking I'd the top coat was dry he paused and looked at certain parts of my nails but didn't point anything out, after I had paid I looked closer to what he had seen on my nails and there are several bumps and hair or fuzz in at least half my nails. I didn't have time to sit and get them all redone so I left but I did tell them I was not satisfied and had gotten pretty much no reaction. I had also asked for an eyebrow wax and when I was being cashed out I said something again and the nail tech told me the person who does that was busy and i would have to wait another hour at the point I said never mind I wasn't waiting anymore and I had already paid for the nail service so I walked out and the nail tech who had done my nails came outside and told me the lady was ready now and had gotten done earlier than he thought. All in all I won't be coming back, I'll drive up to boardman to the nail techs there, I've never had a problem with any salon there. Read Less

I got in right away on a Sunday afternoon.   Same man did my manicure and pedicure - he was thorough and precise, though he really did not talk to me.  The facility is nice - has massage chairs for your pedicure and is fairly quiet and calming despite a lot of people getting it done at once.  Shellac on my fingers lasted 2 weeks until it chipped - I do wish it lasted a little longer, but it at least got me through my vacation.  The nail tech told me to save my receipt and bring it back if the nails did not last two weeks. Customer service is horrible. I called ahead about 645 and was told that I could be seen by 730.. I arrived at 6:50.. when I signed in I was told be receptionist that it would be a half hour wait. She watch me as I wrote down me and my sisters name down. One wanted a fill and pedicure. As we walked back in I was told only 1 service could be provided to me because they where closing. Why would you not tell me so I could go to another establishment. They are very unprofessional and I will not be returning. No one seemed to have cared that my time was wasted. This was my second visit. I got a full set and pedicure. First visit was wonderful! This visit... Not so much. My pedicurist Alyessa was great, but the lady who did my full set wasnt. This is day 2 and my cuticle still hurt and are splitting and bleeding :( I left the appointment BLEEDING. I've had a manicurist cut a cuticle before but never this bad! And never more than 1! First time going with my sister in law & it was beautiful inside ! They give you a free drink and snack while you're getting pampered I highly recommend May ! Absolutely LOVE this salon. A little pricey but most definitely worth it and it shows through the work that they do and the time they put into it. They do such an amazing job that I ditched my go-to salon, and have continued to come here a couple of times and I usually tip the girls working on me about $10-20 each because I'm so please. I got a wonderful gel manicure from a young lady here! It lasted for a month without chipping, and I received many compliments on it. The nail tech did a great job of shaping my nails and took the time to paint them very neatly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that I came in with a friend, hoping that we would be able to have our manicures done at the same time, and she had to wait about 20 minutes to get a tech. Highly recommend Tiffany! She did a great job on my pedicure. The salon is serene and clean, very sanitary. I loved the beverage bar choices, several with light alcohol as well as a light snack. Went to Vernis Sage Nail Bar yesterday with my daughter and we loved it. The manager, Gina was so nice and welcoming. Fantastic new place. Everything on the inside is all new and fresh. My family is new to the area, so I had to find another nail salon. LV Nails is located at the Belden Village Mall. After not having a good experience at another local solan, I tried LV. The salon is very busy with staff and customers. It was very clean and organized. Brian did my SPA mani/ped, which I enjoyed. He was very detailed and ckd on me to make sure I was pleased.FYI, they don't take appts but you can call ahead for your favorite tech - however, you should expect a 10 - 20 min wait. Read Less

In town for a wedding, this place was able to take five of us fairly quickly (on a Tuesday morning). It is a little pricier than we're used to on the West coast, especially if you get the shellac/gel, but the facilities are very clean and sanitary, the staff is friendly, and our spa pedicures felt and look great. I've been here several times and the service is always kind of disappointing. The first time we waited 30 minutes before we were helped and the people were somewhat friendly but most of the time kind of acted as if I was a burden. I had gotten a full set of acrylic nails and it wasn't too bad but the designs weren't what I had asked for and they were somewhat sloppy. The acrylics lasted quite some time so the quality was fine but the paint job was not. It was kind of expensive compared to other places I have been. I was astounded by this place! Took my daughter and mother for a mani pedi day. Everyone was very nice. Facility was very clean. I've been here for a pedicure before and it was a great experience.. I went there to get a pink/white gel manicure and the the guy who did my nails seemed annoyed that i wanted the pink & whites as I guess they aren't as easy and quick as acrylics.. He was so rough on my nails that the skin around my nails started bleeding. He also did absolutely NOTHING to with my cuticles. I've gone to other places in the past and they always fix up my cuticles. It was like I was inconveniencing him and he wanted to be done with me as soon as possible. All that negative aside, my nails themselves looked perfect in the end.. minus the cuts, and the fact that my cuticles still looked like crap. But because he was so rough on me and his attitude kind of stunk, I probably won't return.. I'll make the drive up to Akron to go to the place I used to get them done at. Read Less

This is the best mani/pedi I've ever gotten. We were in Canton for a wedding and needed desperately a mani/pedi. We found LV by searching online and how lucky we were. The service was great, fast and friendly. The prices were good specially given the quality. The guys that did our nails were really friendly and on point with their work. The salon itself is very clean and they have a lot of nail polish to choose from. If I ever visit canton again I would certainly go back. They did a great job. Read Less

This is my second time visiting this salon.  It is fairly clean.  The tools come in an individual sealed bag. I did witness the staff cleaning each pedi chair after use which is a good situation. My complaint is that the staff talks more to each other than they do their clients.  I'm not looking for a new best friend, but I was there solo for my mani and then met up with a friend for my pedi.  The ENTIRE time I was getting my mani the person giving it to me talked to the person next to him.  I attempted to make small talk a few times and just gave up.  I feel that it is highly unprofessional to completely ignore the customer. I  It seems like the entire staff is there to hang out with each other and the customers are just a pure inconvenience.  I admit I am not a regular customer so I don't have an established rapport with them, but everyone is a new(ish) customer at some point.  I was not made to feel welcomed at all. My pedi girl was very sweet, so I don't want to discount her, but she can't save a place with 20 other rude employees.  My mani (shellac) and pedi were fine, no complaints on durability.  I will go elsewhere next time. A friend and I recently visited the salon for the first time last week.  The facility was clean and carefully thought out, and I liked the pedicure chairs in the rear.  We both received pedicures and I opted for a polish change as well.It was his first pedicure and his nail tech was considerate and attentive to his experience and comfort being a "first timer".  Mine was nice, and did a good basic job but really didn't go the extra mile in service.  The bummer of the experience was the polish on my fingernails were chipping the very next day.  (They had not been submerged in water, nor had I done any manual labor in this time.)I called the salon to speak to someone and let them know.  A male employee answered and after I explained to him what had happened, he told me nail polish only lasts a day, or maybe two on the fingernails.This as most women know is ridiculous.  I told him when I manicure myself, and others, the polish is intact for at least five days with no chips, etc...He disagreed.  The way the matter was addressed by him really tainted my experience of the salon. Pedicure Heaven.  15 massaging pedi spa bath chairs.   Basic pedi includes a nice leg massage with pineapple scented oil.  Several options for add ons of sugar scrub. Staff is always courteous and friendly.  Clean and sanitary procedures.  Not the least expensive option for a pedi in the Belden Village area but they do take walkins up until 8 or 8:30 pm.  Appointments available too.  Crazy busy on weekends and during the summer so plan on waiting. Being new to the area, I was referred to this salon by a girl who wears acrylics. I however do shellac polish, after only four days my polish was chipped and lifting. This nail salon truly is as good as it gets in the Canton area.  I have been living in Canton for just over a year and have been driving to Youngstown once every other week to get my nails done because every nail salon in North Canton, Canton, and Akron was HORRIBLE.  ALAS - LV Nails.  This place was recommended to me and I am SO happy I went.  No more hour drives for nail appointments.  See Charlie - he is FANTASTIC!!!  Also, it is very affordable and the salon is very, very clean.
