If I could give them negative stars I absolutely would. I had the worst nail experience of my life at this place. The guy rushed the job and the paint job was horrible. I had to ask him 3 times during the process to fix obvious mistakes like a slanted nail, and filing them down like I asked prior. And they still ended up terrible. When I told him I didn't like them because they were thick, boxy, and lumpy, he yelled at me 3 times. I came Saturday night to just get a simple gel polish for my hands and toes. The guys jacked up my design. So I came back the next morning to get it fixed they tried to argue with me for 10 mins but I wasn’t leaving til they fixed. Wake up today 6 out of 10 nails are lifting so back today to get it fixed. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The staff there only want your money and rush through their service with you - which reflects in the quality of work produced. This past Saturday (1/27), I came in for a polish change (regular - feet; gel - hands) for a gala that evening. It's around the corner from home and the closest nail salon to me. Compared to a salon in Cincinnati I visited two weeks prior, I knew that I wasn't getting my money's worth, as the man doing them was rushing through his time with me. Not only were the gel nails not fully painted (had to ask several time to fill in areas), but within 24 hours, the gel started lifting. Today (1/31), three of my nails are bare because I had to peel off what was lifting and getting caught in my hair and clothes.  $50 (plus tax) down the drain.  I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!  Convenience is not worth money wasted...Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me! So I took my little one here to get her nails painted nothing special because she's 5. And hrs later I ask her to show off her nails and there was no polish in sight! What kind of cheap products are y'all buying!?!? I've never seen polish fall and peel right off within hrs. She sat under the nail dryer for 20 minutes and for what????by the time she went to bed she had no more polish it was as she never went. Then I just wanted a color change. And she worked her magic and upsaled me into getting a balance then tried to push me to get gel after I made it clear I was not interested. We were in a hurry and I said as soon as I'm done we're leaving and she rudely says "fine when you mess up your nail no come back" also within a hr one nail broke. Back in the day they used to slay some nails! I had the guy yesterday... he is VERY heavy handed! Burned me with the drill several times! Was filing the sides super hard, I told him "you're hurting me". Totally ignored me, filed the skin off the top of my finger until it started to bleed. Finger still hurt, can't even wash my hands without it burning! I asked for matte black, got ashy black! I got in the shower a few hrs later & the gel polish lifted! Came in for a full set w/ gel. This is not my usual spot but I was in the area and they opened the earliest. Nail techs were nice, clean area, came in the morning right when they opened (10am) and I got seated right away. However....$43 for a full set w/gel?! I normally pay $27 so never again. The color did run so he did have to repaint a few times. Got them done last Saturday and the picture below shows what they look like after one week. Best place in town to get your nails done . I drive all the way from Granville Ohio to come here. Always great service everyone is always so friendly and makes you feel welcomed. My nail techs name is T.T. I must say she is the best she has been doing my nails for the last 7 years and I would not trade her for anyone when you are with here you are her main focus she treats you like she has known you for ever . Service gets rushed service provider TT is always on the phone trying to make other appointments while she's rushing you. My wife's gel polish never last two weeks and  when she applies new gel the previous color is still visible.  Pretty much the price versus the quality does not match at all. Been here a couple of times. My nails started lifting really bad. They would break easily. They were really thick and uneven. Just left from there after being away for about six months and I had to wait in Coldwater for my pedicure for 40 minutes I finally just got up and walked out. This was the worst pedicure experience ever!!!! I went because I was leaving town and they were open on Sunday. This was my first visit and no one greeted me. My tech didn't speak to me my entire service but he talked NON STOP to the other tech when she wasn't on her cell phone. The doors were open and flies were everywhere. The tech trimmed my toenails but did not clean underneath or shape them. The male tech painted my toes and just left me at the pedicure chair and went to do someone's nails. He NEVER  came back. The other tech finally came and sat me at the pedi dryer but again no one came back.  15 minutes later I decided to leave.  They took my $30 and went back to doing nails. Nobody acknowledged me when I signed in, there was a lady next to me who came back because she wasn't happy with her polish from the day before. Worst place I've ever got my nails done! My nails started lifting 2 days after the full set was put on and getting water and dirt under them. All they could say is that it was my fault I was to rough with them! Also that there are no refunds. We the 2 days that I supposedly was to rough with them were my 2 days off I was at home most of the time went grocery shopping and fixed food sounds like I went through a war right?!! Place is a total joke they got me for 50 bucks but never another dime from me or anyone I know people ask me where I go now and I tell them it's a five star place that I now go to and I also let my friends and people know of my bad experience at vip nails to make sure they don't get ripped off like I did! Yesterday I came back here after having a bad experience here about 5 years ago, simply because it's close to my house. Never again. For one, while I understand English is not your first language, it is alienating and disrespectful to blatantly talk about your clientele to their faces and in a language they cannot understand at that. Pointing directly at your customer and yelling across the room because they cannot understand the question you are asking is just bad customer service. That combined with the fact that the tech I had rushed my balance and then a terrible uneven job of painting my nails and then OVER CHARGED ME after I paid cash and you have signs all over your salon stating that customer get 5% off for paying in cash? I'll be sure to let everyone in this neighborhood know they'd be wasting their time and money coming here. Today, I came back to ask them to fix it and they tried to make me wait for the same tech who messed up my nails in the first place to correct the issue. My first visit was in mid July on a Sunday. I had a sudden urge to get a full set. My friend recommended it only because she has been going since she was in high school & it was right around the corner from her house. We gotten there a hour & a half prior to closing. I would say it was pretty busy. We ended up being one of the last ones. My friend had gotten a mani & pedi which turned out really nice. I had the acrylic full set & pedi. My pedi was nice but my full set I feel like was rushed. I thought I liked it but after I left it just looked & felt bulky. I wanted the coffin shape & gotten something like it. There was even acrylic left underneath the nail that wasn't filed down. I know it was close to closing & that it was busy but still you want to leave the client satisfied. I ended up going back at least two times to get my nails smoothed. Still wasn't satisfied. I will definitely go back for a pedi. Read Less

Only nail shop open on Mother's Day and there was about a 10-15 minute wait. The price was okay $28 for full set plus $10 for my design tho I know lots of American places that don't charge so much extra for a simple design they weren't open so oh well!! And the lady did a wonderful job! Now I just am gonna wait to see how they look in 2 wks so I'll update in 2 wks but as of now they get 5 stars for how nice she was and funny and the price how she didn't rush threw it either and she even offer a eyebrow wax but I told her maybe next time. I just wanted to let everyone know how horrible this place really is. I cannot believe there are any positive reviews. I went in last night for Shellac nails and to get my toes painted and couldn't have left more disappointed if I tried. Kelly did mine and she was sloppy, lazy, non accommodating and made my fingers bleed from her rough nail buffing! absolutely horrible. Do not go here if you want a quality nail job. I am so shocked at the positive reviews for this place. I had them do a balance and replace three nails and it was the worst experience I have ever had. The three nails they replaced were so deformed and misshaped, I tried to have the tech fix the worst one and he acted like there was nothing wrong, it was like a rolling slanted mountain on my finger and the other two were flat on top. The tech put soooo much acrylic on that it was gooped all over my and under my nails he grinded the stuff off cut my cuticles and didn't trim any of my nails despite my request. This is by far my favorite nail place.  I haven't had a full set of acrylic/gel nails, but I have had gel manicures, and pedicures.First of all, if you're there to get a pedicure, they allow you to wait in the massage chairs and soak your feet instead of sitting in the chairs in the front of the lobby.The pedicures are truly an hour, and are awesome!  They massage your feet, legs, and toes.  Prior to painting your toes, they wrap your feet and legs in a warmed towel, which adds to the relaxation.  Best part is.. you can allow your toes to dry while you sit in the massage chairs (which are new), or you can sit and have your toes under the drier if you're in a hurry.If you pay with cash, you get a discount.I have had services done in the mall, spas, and salons... this place is by far my favorite.As a side note, they do a great job for men's pedicures as well...
