Service was fine for a standard wash and blow dry (round brush) with hint of curl at the ends (30 min service)I've had the same service at a number of area salons (identity, paragon, alba, Mitchell's locations, ambience, etc.) and typically pay $30-35 for the same and expected the same here... when I checked out I was told I owed $50... seriously... and was told it was $38 for the blowout (fair) with $12 additional for curling (not an updo, not half up, nothing beyond some curling iron action at the ends of my long hair) and it was $50 totalWill not be back... please do a better job of disclosing ridiculous pricing additions before the sticker shock at exit Read Less

I love this place. I was always scared of going to get my hair colored by a hairdresser because they never get the color I want but everyone at Sozo is the best. I had my hair colored by Ashley and Chelsea and both of the colors turned out perfectly. This was my first visit at SoZo salon. I read through reviews and they were great! Well, I did not have the experience everyone praised about. I received the WORST hair cut of my life. I am pretty sure I could have done a better job myself. The color was great, but that is it. I am missing a fair amount of hair underneath. I had asked to have my hair thinned, which I know from previous experience there are shorter pieces. This is a chunk. I did call the salon and sent a picture. The owner was very apologetic and was willing to help. She also did refund some of my money, not all. After several weeks now of this hair cut it becomes more awful. When I was there I asked for very little layers. I did not get this. It is the most choppy hair cut I have ever received. The layers are extremely noticeably different and so uneven. I think if the hair dresser would have paid a little less attention to his apple watch and more to my hair this would not have happened. I am giving two stars because of how nice the owner was. But I would not recommend seeing Chris at SoZo. He needs to pay attention more to what he is doing when cutting someones hair and less time on his apple watch. He also needs to learn customer service skills in this type of business, as he told me way too much about his personal life. I also did not appreciate him telling me when I was there that my hair was awful, meaning the cut was bad and the color looked like a stripped trumpet color. For the fact of what he did to my hair. I had a bad experience with a stylist who must have just been having an off day. I emailed them and Karen called me the next morning, she asked me to come back and she would make it right. She made it right and so much more. She listened to what I had to say, lightened my too dark hair and gave the greatest cut of my life. Chris was simply amazing! I walked in with hair below my shoulder blades that was nothing short of a hot mess...which I always kept pulled up.. lol...I told him "do something fun, easy and cute...and I know it needs a lot of length taken off" He asked of I was afraid to go short? My hair is not your traditional middle American hair that's easy to cut and fix, but Bajon stylists have always managed to make me look and feel good every single time. Diana, one of the stylists, has done a great job for me! If I go anywhere else, I would have to go home, get the clippers and scissors out and fix all the different spots that are messed up. I highly recommend Karen and her crew because they are professional, classy, and they care about their clients and the community. On top of that, you get Mark (and Karen), who's goal is to give each and every client the best salon experience that they deserve. SoZo has done an excellent job- I've had my daughter's hair colored there 2x... the first time to correct a crazy blue my daughter did on her own- which resulted in us returning -just because they are so good and courteous. Also- the owner is working right along with the staff, cutting hair- coloring hair, getting coffee for clients... rare. You should try them - awesome place! Read Less
