I don't post reviews on places unless it's bad.. in this case, it's bad. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I had my nails done at Love nails and spa in West Chester. I read good reviews, although not many and decided to give this place a shot. I had 1 nail that was broken and needed fixed, another that had cracked and needed fixed before it broke as well. I also wanted to use shellac as it is strong, last longer and doesn't chip like normal nail polish and get my normal coffin shaped nails. I made sure to inform her i keep my nails thick to prevent breaking. Nothing crazy. I chose mood/temp changing pink flip purple shellac from their very small selection of non dark colored choices. The lady, who is nice, begins to work on my nails. She put my replaced nail on completely crooked to where she had to do a LOT of work to make it in a coffin shape. All while completely disregarding me saying it is totally off. About that time I was over it and ready to just walk. She finishes my nails and I go home. THAT NIGHT, my cracked pinky nail broke off completely because she did not fix it properly. I had to go back the next day to get my nail replaced (free of charge thankfully) all though the shape is much wider and is not even the same as my other pinky nail. Again, even after saying multiple times the nail isn't the same.. I just gave up and let them finish. By the weekend my nails began to crack all in the same place (see pic below). I now have 6 nails that have cracks and could tear off. Where the crack is, is below my quick line therefore can cause decent amount of damage if broken. Fast forward to today, I have shellac PEELING off. I have shellac on my toes that is a few months old that looks perfect but I have shellac peeling on my nails in under 2 weeks? Prices are a bit higher than what I'm used to. $25 just for a shellac color change. I felt as though what I got wasn't worth that much. The woman who did my nails seemed to rush the whole thing and after just a day, the color is already chipping in spots. Probably won't go back. Read Less

I had a horrid experience at another nail salon and after reading reviews about this place decided to give it a try. I was happy I did. My SNS experience: did not pile a lot on-looks natural, paid close attention to detail, educated me on nail care tips, did not feel rushed, pleasant- didn't talk too much but conversed enough. My only con, is the price was more than expected. It was $49 but offers a discount if paying in cash will get 5% off. Pedicure price was fair- $30. I was serviced by Kim. Saw the reviews and decided to drop in for a simple manicure. Sean did my nails and they turned out perfect! Super quick, friendly and i am extremely happy with my nails. They offer all nail services including mani, pedi, shellac, Sns etc. It's nice that they can easily accommodate walk ins as well! I will definitely be back! Read Less

I was beginning to really fall for this salon until they overcharged my daughter then double billed her. Charged her $60 for a fill in. Then when she received her receipt she was charged $121. When my daughter brought it to their attention the woman who did the service said she recharged her card for the correct amount and refunded the total of the first receipt. However, when we left the salon and my daughter checked her account the $121 charge had not been retracted. We immediately returned and the lady that overcharged my daughter told us we'd have to come back the next day to get it corrected. However, before I could say anything, the young lady that both my daughter and I like approached us and corrected the overcharge. Prior to this instance, our service was fantastic. But I no longer trust that my daughter, who is only 17, can go to the salon on her own and be charged correctly. Very sad that this happened. Read Less

Popped in because the reviews were good :)Very glad I did! Sean did my sns nails and Karen did my adorable polka dot pedicure! She is sassy and fun, you'll like her! They are so nice and friendly, I'll definitely be back! P.s. Sns is a new applied powder product that feels like acrylic (a bit thicker than opi gelcolor shellac - but not as thick as solar pink and whites can be). I've never tried it, but it is supposed to be better for your nails, requiring less soak off time and it has enfused vitamins and calcium to help your nails grow and be stronger. Check out sns nails online for more details. We shall see!Update, November 2016:Still great! Love the sns. It really helps my nails be stronger and grow longer. It feels like acrylic or solar pink and white on top of your natural nail, so thicker than gel. It is more flexible though and really helps my natural nails feel stronger. This is the worst excuse for a nail shop. Maybe Houston nail shops have just set the bar but this shop needs to take some notes. HORRIBLE. First of all, what is SNS and why is that ALL you can do? I walked in asking for a refill and they tried to push SNS on me. No. All I wanted was a refill with acrylic powder. Something any BASIC shop should know how to do. Not this place. Next I got my pedicure. I assume they have no pedicure menu of services because I was not offered one. And I assume they don't serve wine or any other refreshments because nobody offered them to me. Again...I am clearly a long way from Houston. So I got the most basic pedicure of my life while the rude employees talked about their drunken night out and how they couldn't wait to be off work. Have some decorum. Then, I got shuffled between not 1 or 2 but 3 different people because nobody can do anything but SNS and shellac and all I wanted was a refill as stated before and a million times before I got what I want. Horrible customer service and clearly a lack of common sense. If you expect more than basic don't come here. Because basic is all they do. Next time I will just get my nails done in Houston before I come visit my family. Because if this place has a perfect rating then I'm scared to see what's not considered perfect. Read Less

I have been A LOT of places and I can honestly say this was my favorite experience. I came in the day before my wedding, nervous because I'm really picky and I didn't know if these guys would live up to my expectations.... And they definitely surpassed them.   My pedi was awesome, relaxing. She talked to me but not too much so I was able to enjoy & relax. And my French manicure, which I was most nervous about since I HATE crooked lines. She did all my toes very carefully and then asked me if I wanted them thinner etc. She was very patient and didn't seem bothered at all when i asked to change a couple. My mani is where they stood out. I told her I was getting married and that it was a " elegant glam" wedding downtown. I thought I wanted a plum colored tip with a diamond on my ring finger (which would be more expensive). She said she was happy to do it but she thinks that I should go with a more "timeless" look since it was my wedding, French mani, or a nude color. She didn't have to suggest anything but she knew what would look best. We tried the mani. Hated it (my nails were too short) and then we did 2 different shades of gel color until we found the perfect one! Never once did she seem annoyed, she actually is the one that suggested the final color! She took her time and made sure the color was even and the edges were filled. For my heart design the gentleman was very careful and he erased several that HE thought weren't perfect enough, I didn't even say a word! The final result was beautiful and I love my nails. I forgot to take pics right away but I took some about a week later and they still look great!Besides the excellent service, the vibe in the salon is great. It's clean, nice, and relaxing. This place is the absolute BEST! New family run nail salon. The nail techs are the sweetest. The pricing is the best I have seen. My pedicure and manicure were wonderful. I didn't feel rushed. My nails look great. And the massage portion of the pedicure was well worth every penny. The owners and employees all are so friendly. I laughed the entire time I was there.
