Failed at simply confirming an appointment time correctly and acted as if it was fault that their receptionist told me the wrong time. Can't speak to the quality of the salon because I couldn't get a cut. If you like being treated like a second class citizen when you walk in and being condescended to then this is the place for you! Very dissapointed. So I booked my wife an apointment and got a confirmation per text. As we show up the front desk is very very rude. Does not acknowledge us for over 15 minutes(we were just right infront of their faces) but then smile at us and say we dont have an appointment. We told them and showed them the text and they said they never send. Who are we kidding here? I did not drive that far and made an appointment to be treated like crap. Save your money and nerves and go somewhere were thy treat you nice and how it should be. Read Less

Decent but not great. Staff typically seems rushed. Got my eye brows waxed and the wax was way too hot, my skin literally peeled off. I don't go here anymore. One prior awful experience with a "senior stylist" left me with suicide bangs. Read Less

Took our 9 year old in for a haircut with Rachel.  She was recommended to me through a friend.  She is very friendly and personable, and she gave a great haircut. Kid's cut for $20?  Can't beat that.  She also cuts my hubs-to-be's hair and she does a killer job. Read Less

Went here for a pedicure after getting a gift card for my birthday. The salon is on the 2nd floor of La Place. The space was pretty dated and it was cold - the staff apologized for this and said they couldn't do anything to make it warmer. The pedicure overall was great - I wish I could remember her name. She was friendly but quiet, which I appreciate because I don't like to make small talk when trying to relax. She took her time and did a great job. Bonus - she set up the chair massage perfectly - those things are always hit or miss. I forgot to bring flip flops and she told me I could stay as long as needed in the chair. Definitely book in advance. I barely got my bridal party even calling in 3 weeks ahead of time! This salon has lots of regular customers that have regular appointments on the weekends, so their bookings fill up fast.Overall, they did a great job with our manicures. They were expedient and friendly. However, we didn't have a relaxed time since we felt like they were just pushing us out in order to get the next round of appointments in. This is understandable given the amount of customer flow, but that's my main feedback. I think if you want quality manicures at a fast pace, this is the place to go. Read Less

The salon is always busy, so book  in advance.  Its on the upper level so hop on the elevator to the second floor.  I got a hair cut by Rory and returned again and again.  He did a great job, the staff is friendly and the service overall is great.  The price for a salon cut was reasonable.  The salon is large, bright and clean.  They offer customers smocks to wear so you'll leave with the itch after a cut.  Rory is an artist and I would recommend him highly for a cut and style.  I gave him no direction, he did his own thing and I really liked the cut.  I'll return again!They offer an many other services but I;ve only had a cut there. After a bunch of pedicures at a variety of different salons (and a bunch of different price points), the best I can say about my experience here is, "Meh - it's ok." I arrived promptly at my appointment time and checked in, but then had to wait considerably longer than I would expect.  At the 15 minute mark, someone did ask if I was being helped, but then it took another 10 minutes for my esthetician to arrive.Once in the chair, the pedicure was fine I guess, but lacked many of the amenities that usually come with a pedicure at this price point (around $50+).  For example, at other places I'm used to more elaborate massages of my legs and feet, with accompanying treatments and scrubs. Here, the esthetician performed some of these tasks minimally, but really for not a very long time (less than a minute each time).  I can get this same treatment for about half the price at one of those walk-in pedicure places, and for the same price, I could go to one of the Aveda salons in the area and likely get much more elaborate treatment.  While nothing horrible happened, I think this lackluster experience deserves somewhere between 2.5-3 stars.
