Exotic Nails in Bay changed ownership a few months back. Tony and Michelle are fantastic! Not only are they the best manicures and pedicures I've ever gotten but they are incredibly nice and accommodating. Ok so this joint has NEW OWNERS!!!!! When you walk in it feels like they've known you for years. Tony & Michelle work their magic & excel @ their craft..NAILS!!!! Gel; Pink n White, acrylic and the pedicures...pure heaven The pedicure chairs will make you wanna stay all day...I'm a very picky human & if I could give these guys 10 it's because they deserve it Cost...the other salons are way overpriced So give this place a try & save some $ and get your nails done right. I have to say I'm not completely disappointed with my manicure & gel Polish. But I'm definitely not thrilled. It was like being at a nail technician school. The owner kept coming over critiquing the girls. I had one girl who did a partial Mani then another who was more trained on applying color. It was not the greatest experience.  I used to go there a few years ago & it was great. They knew what they were doing. These girls again did an ok job but that's not what I thought I was walking into. So for that I will never go back. Read Less

It was easy to get an immediate appointment, and the price was fair for a full acrylic set ($30). Unfortunately, the entire set peeled off in less than a week. In prep, the technician failed to use a primer; this is my guess as to why the nails failed but I'm not paying to have to speculate. I just need my nails to look professional. I took a friend and she got a gel manicure. It, too, failed within a week. It was a fine, clean environment with kind technicians. However, I'm pretty annoyed that I spent the time and money for what amounted to fancy press-on nails. I wouldn't recommend Exotic Nails.Read Less

I have been going here for over a year now and I'm very happy with all my appointments here. I call for same day appointments without any issues. Love going here! Very friendly staff. I always ask for Dean because he is very meticulous about everything. I've went back two times due to me smudging a pedicure or a chipped shellac. They do it free of charge with no questions. He even redid my entire polish once because he could tell I didn't like the way the color turned out. I seriously wasn't even complaining he just said "I can tell you didn't like this color, pick a new one." Good business right there! Read Less

Love this place and my nails!! The owner Lynn is fantastic and my pedicure was great! They have massage chairs to enjoy during the pedicure and they did a great job. admittedly I don't go out much, and getting my nails done is a rare treat. I went in yesterday for a mani/pedi prior to going out for Valentines with my husband.  I wanted to look pretty and get the dry cracked skin on my hands and feet addressed.  The pedicure was nice, although the cheesey massage chair was broken.  The tech attempted to talk to me but was difficult to understand.  When I did understand she was basically saying how wonderful she was and how I t was the best pedicure ever.  It was ok, but she up-sold me with some extra massage.  Meanwhile I wanted nice neutral finger nails and the dry skin addressed, Because I don't get my fingernails done often I really had no idea what she was doing and kept waiting for the massaging part etc.  She insisted I get a french (another up-sale) and when I told her twice I didn't like it she just continued along.  She said several times she work very fast very fast, when she asked me what time I had to leave I said by 2:10.  She worked so fast I was out of there by 1:45.  My last words were "I really do not like the bright white and the thickness" (she did shellac with out really asking or explaining.  Had I known I never would have agreed to either) to which she replied "you go pay her" Never Again.  I thought about going back and making them redo them but after reading some of the other reviews I don't want them touching my normally strong yet dry nails. This salon is just minutes from my house, I used to like the salon for my mani/pedi but after i had shellac and they wanted to remove my shellac with the little sanding tool....they wrecked my natural nails. I had to grow them back out so they weren't so brittle after they removed my top layer. I told them "no" when they pulled out the tool and they told me that is how they do it...most places soak your fingers for awhile then the shellac comes off.  So now I am on the hunt for another salon for my shellac addiction :) Read Less
