I had a mani/pedi on Saturday March 3rd, 2018. It was scheduled for 1. My pedi started at 1:30 with a gentleman that knew what he was doing and treated my feet with kid gloves due to having RA. As he was finishing he said to me his wife would do my nails because she was faster. She sat me at her station, #2, and proceeded to cause unbelievable pain until I left at 4:15. 4:15!!!!!!!!! First she dips my nails in a bowl of acetone. Hello?? That's awful to do. Use the pads and foil, which everything comes off in 20mins. It's less harmful to the skin and guess what, to the woman who did my nails?? it was not faster!!! It's awful for a person with RA, which she knew I had and it's burning. She was so unbelievably rough, pulling and twisting my fingers, with a dry paper towel, trying to get as much off at each check, as possible. With all this wiping and rubbing, along with the drill to get polish off, she proceeded to get polish all over my hands and fingers. When she was finished with my nails, after a lot of very aggressive twisting, every which way, she put the clear topcoat on, she got up and said 2 minutes and it'll be dry. Just sitting there. No fan. No light. No nothing. She came back and touched my pinky finger, which her finger stuck to. Hmmm...doesn't seem to be dry in 2 minutes. She came in 2 more minutes...guess what??? Not dry. She told me to get up so her next scheduled appointment could sit at her station. I looked at my nails that were not shiny or dry and said I want a gel topcoat with the light so I can leave here knowing they are dry. She turned away in a huff, I followed and sat down at her station, which the woman who was there to see her hadn't sat down yet, so she sat next to me and proceeded to have her nails started by the man at Station #1. She drilled off the wet topcoat and used the gel and light. I walked out with my dry nails, in so much pain and in tears. I have had my nails done for years and have NEVER CRIED OR BEEN SO UPSET AND ANGRY. My hands were swollen and in pain and as my boyfriend saw an hour later shaking uncontrollably. All these emotions over a manicure? Sad and pathetic. This woman should not be doing nails. I paid $101.00 for the mani/pedi. Left zero tip. Although I felt bad because her husband was WONDERFUL. I just had the BEST Powder Dip Nails Mani and Pedi today!!  Emily did my Powder Dip Nails and she did an awesome job!  They look natural and no lumps. I will be going back. I used to go to the other location but only come here now...the staff are amazing but I have my favorites for certain things. I'm willing to try anyone for my pedicure but Cindy's mom is the best...as far as nails there are only 2 girls I'll see there and that I'm keeping a secret because it's already hard enough getting into them lol. I called with a question and to schedule an appointment. I needed to have a liquid gel manicure (Not powder or soak off gel) I was informed they could do it so made an appointment for the next day as I had broken a nail. When arriving, they said they misunderstood what I wanted. 3 ppl looked at my nails and decided they could do it. When filing my nail bed, they made it so thin it caused discomfort  immediately. Within 2 days my nails started to split and tear. I have since had to cut all my nails off as they were splitting deeply into my nail bed. OUCH and what a waste of 35.00! Never again my friends! Used to love this place, but their rates have gone up and service down.  I literally had more nail polish under my nails this last time than on top.  And the technician wouldn't let me wash the dust off my nails.  They don't honor their advertised prices that hang prominently in front of the shop.  The technician acted like I was a bother to her.  No more second chances - time to find a new place who values customers. I have been coming here for several years and never received such awful service. I had called about 20 minutes ahead to make sure I had a spot and when I arrived and told the nail tech that I wanted my current set of acrylics taken off because they were over grown and nasty, and wanted a new set put on she relentlessly tried to talk me out of what I wanted due to the tedious nature of the task. When she finally agreed she spent the next hour and a half completely distracted with answering the phone, talking to her other coworkers in Vietnamese for long periods of time, and writing in the scheduling book. At one point she was cutting my tips down for my new set and wasn't even looking. This resulted in EVERY nail being a different length and shape. It finally got to the point where I had left with out even getting gel put on because I was so over her poor customer service. Now I'm out 40 dollars and am stuck with these awful nails for two weeks (or else my nails would fall off) until I can go to a new salon and get properly done acrylics. I was looking for a new place to get my nails done and came across Elite. It was a Friday afternoon so it was busy which was fine. I got a gel manicure that was advertised at $23. The man who did my nails was really rough on my hands. He also put at least 3 coats of color on and 2 coats of top coat. When I went to check out he told me it was $32. I said I thought it was $23 and he told me that I picked a the more expensive shellac...news to me because I went to the rack they told me to. I wasn't happy. They've started to grown out after a week and they look horrible. The gel is starting to lift and you can see where he put way too much topcoat on. For $2 more, I will go back to Charles Scott and get a gel manicure that lasts me 3 weeks. Overall I was just really disappointed. Read Less
