Okay so I've been going here for about a month? I believe and I needed a brand new set, (coffin nails , mid-length.) So I get the new set and this was after Christmas. So I get them, & leave. About 4 days later I'm at work ( as a server) and I'm just opening a cardboard box and two of my nails snap, RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE. Now, it didn't hurt at all, when they broke. So I was like wow... I have had long acrylic nails for 2 years and I've never broke a nail. So I call up and she ...schedules me and fixes them. No charge. Now she keeps telling me to be careful which yes! I understand don't go out and be super rough or yes they will break! So I leave, and 2 days later another breaks ( my pinky) I glue the tip back on. Like I don't have time to keep getting them fixed. It should not be happening! So a day goes by my index finger snaps. Glue it back on. 3 days go by im opening the fridge, my OTHER index finger snaps. Glue it back on.. I'm getting more and more mad as each day goes by and me having to watch EVERY move I make. So last night ( Jan 17th) I'm opening a gift I got from my co worker and I'm sliding my thumb nail in to grip the cardboard clasp of the box and before i even have a good grip I watch it snap! Once again, this didn't hurt at all! None of the nails I broke hurt, because they literally just snapped right down the middle. So I get so mad, I start cutting them. ( Super short!) So I call up NK nails and I'm like I want my money back I'm explaining how upset I am and just saying how I want my money back and explain how many nails have broke. So she is like nonono. Please come in I fix for you, and everything. How it will be FREE. she keeps going on about I tell you , you have to be careful. Yes, I understand but I've had long acrylics for 2 years! I'm so used to them but I don't push them to their breaking point! And I'm sure all the girls know out their when you stub one , OH HOW BAD THAT HURTS! yet, I've done that so many times, and NONE have ever ever broke. Also to add in, while I was cutting them, (nail clippers) the acrylic is just disinteresting!! Like the corners and everything! I'm like what the heck is going on!? So I get off work today and head in. I wait from 3:30 to 4. When she finally is free to get me started. She explains how I can have gel and she will give me a discount and how I'll only have to pay $25 dollars. Now in my mind I'm like... IM NOT PAYING ANYMORE money until I know they won't break in 3 days! So I don't say anything I'm just sitting their in silence.. I'm like you know I don't want you to do anything and she keeps rambling on and I'm not having it. So I'm like no, it's okay I'm just done and said goodbye and left. I was so upset.. and it's just like really?? After all I have went through, and it sucks because she was super sweet and kind! But I'm not nieve or dumb. I usually do my own nails but with work and the holidays I figured I would go get them done to save some time. WRONG. Not only did I have to tell the girl they were too flat have her try to "fix" the problem... She yelled at me to say I didn't say I wanted them to curve... She half way finished them by the end I was so irritated wouldn't even let her paint them clear as now I have to fix them myself wasting more time. Spoke to the manager who was willing to fix them but what's the point of wasting more time and energy. I spent almost 50$ on something I hate. Never again. Update. After 3 days in looks as tho I feed a fill and they are lifting. So I am taking the manager up on his offer to fix them let's see how this goes. Read Less

I have been going to NK since they opened in Ellet. I have never had any problems with my nails. They are always how I have wanted them done. I have gone to several of the techs and they have always been very pleasant and helpful. I get my nails done about every 2 to 3 weeks and I am still pleased! Read Less

Went in for a pedicure Monday. After asking for Tony and being told he is on vacation,I had a female do my pedicure. I'm disappointed! The polish doesn't cover my nails,she did fix one after I pointed it out,didn't see others until I was home. The top coat doesn't cover the whole toe nail either. You can see the shiny line from the top coat way before the polish ends on the nail. She did not use the scrubber on the bottom of my feet,only the grater. I expect my feet to look nice when I pay $32.00 for a pedicure,plus tip. I will only let Tony do my pedicures in the future. Read Less

So, my mother, sisters & I have been going here for YEARS!! I liked the staff & atmosphere until last week!! I realize their customers & loyalty do not mean a hill of beans! I wanted a flower on my big toe-as I always do on the summer...with 5+ staff members working NO ONE could do it-except for the female owner. When I said-that last time-Tony-had done it for me, I was told he had a customer. Which he was just taking a new customer-who was a walk-in-that could of waited 5 minutes-while he did the flower! I was told "next time you get a flower"! I only go once a month & there will be no next time, as I will no longer be spending my money at this establishment or the new one opening in Tallmadge! Thoroughly disgusted with the way they do business.  If you don't get a talented manicurist, your nails look horrible.  Then you get told that's they way your polish is supposed to look.  Also, has to go back to get manicure fixed, and although they would redo the gel polish that was what I had on my nails with my 35.00 manicure, when I asked if I could get the SNS powder polish done instead they said I would have to pay another $40.  In all reality I should have only had to pay the $5 difference.  I will not go back and I strongly recommend going to a different salon to anyone else. I will never go back there for their service. My nails are horrible. I came in wanting a style I've never gotten.. I repeatedly told her I did not like this nail.. and this nail... and so on. Absolutely THE BEST nail salon around! I have been getting my nails done over 20 years and have tried many salons. I won't go anyplace else! My nails never lift and always look phenomenal. The creative art and nail designs are better than anything I have seen. Highly recommend! Read Less

Just went to this salon and had the most horrible experience of my life. The lady with the cross bangs and glasses is absolutely horrible at nails , rude and has no experience . I came in for a fill I had already had my nails almond shaped and had told her that I still wanted almond shaped nails and she completely didn't listen to what I said all my nails are a different shape and un even . Half my nails are square and the other half is slightly round.  They are so uneven it's unreal. She had nail Polish all over my hands and didn't clean it up I had to ask her to clean it up and she gave me an attitude . There is also fuzzys in about 3 of my nails and I asked her to please fix it and it's still there . Very upset I just paid to get horrible nails that's are completely un even and have dents in them . Nice place, but it did have a very strong acrylic odor. Depending on which tech you get, you either have a good or great experience. Mine was good, I got shellac on my toes, which usually never chips until i take it off, hopefully this one will not either, but I'll have to wait and see. Read Less
