Had Kim do my nails. She asked mw what nail shape I wanted to which I rwsponres, stilletto. She then tells me "square or round".... Ok... Round, sure, I could just file a point at home. Halfway through her burning my curicles with acetone, she starts saying how square would look better, I told her no and that I wanted round about six times before i finally gave up and let her so whatever she wanted. She burned my cuticles, cut me with the cuticle cutters, cut me with the Dremel, and filed the acrylic so hard that my nail beds are sore 24hrs later. I asked if using the polish I brought was okay, which I was told it was, but again I got bullied into doing what Kim wanted instead of what I, THE CUSTOMER, wanted. So now once my nails are no longer sore, I will be filing them to the shape I wanted and will be painting them the color I wanted. My nails were SO thick and clunky and disgusting looking, and the paint had so many air bubbles. I won't be returning, ever. I HATED my experience with Nail Premier and Kim, and hope anyone who sees my review STEERS CLEAR OF THIS UNPROFESSIONAL DUMPSTER FIRE. Read Less

Apparently mine or my moms time not valuable? My mom used to come here for years bit wont be going back. Called this morning to see if there were apts available and were told they could do 2 pedicures for myself and my mom at 430. We arrived 5 minutes early and there were 8 people waiting. At 500 when we still hadn't been started we were told it would be another 10 minutes. In being mothers day we had plans and didn't have time to wait. This place is perfect for getting a waxing. They have a chair in the back that's reserved for waxing and is super comfortable.I highly recommend calling for an appointment if you're going on a Saturday because they're always swamped with walk-ins.Lots of people like their pedis so be sure to consider getting one on your next trip in!! Been coming here since my husband and I moved to the area. I asked around and many ladies recommended this place. All the employees are great and friendly and do a great job. They offer beverages while you're getting your service which is a nice touch no where else offers. Prices are in line with other salons in the area. When I went yesterday I was in line behind a lady who had a bad experience and I overheard the owner apologizing and asking what he could do to ensure she came back. This is my new "nail place!" Last time I went there, the nail tech (older looking one). cut me twice and when I said something after 2nd time. She got an attitude and rushed through the rest of my pedicure. Went on a Wednesday night and was quite disappointed in nail fill in. Pedicure was great but nails look not good. One looks like a flair tip while others are square with round tips. Showed a picture of what I wanted but not close. Asked for hombre finish but one nail has a definite line--not hombre. Biggest concern was they said it would be $75 but they charged 90. I love this business...owners are very cordial. Everyone there speaks English so I'm not sure what the language barrier would be. They speak to each other in their native language but always English to their customers. The price is great for the service they provide. I recommend everyone to Premier Nails in Fairlawn!! I've been a frequent customer for approx. 4 years now. It used to be a place where when walking in, You were immediately greeted, they remembered you, etc. I took my Sister in law in yesterday for a pedicure, (for both of us), and didn't get that warm fuzzy feeling like I had prior. No real greeting, just sat down. A lady approached us, in which I told her 2 pedicures. The wait wasn't terribly long, but upon sitting down in the pedi chair, it was 20-25 minutes before they eve...r got to me. The tech started my sis in law's pedi pretty quick. I had gel paint already, and she had regular. My figure would be to start the process of prepping mine for removal, so that we could potentially finish about the same time. My sis in law was completely done by the time my tech came to START mine. Clearly that leaves her waiting around for me. We were never offered any drinks like I had been, every time before. No one in the salon had a drink, so it's possible that they stopped doing it. I was charged $17 for gel paint, and my whole pedicure was only $22. Doesn't quite make sense. I was also told I'd be charged the $17 even if I brought my own gel polish. (Just to use their light, and have her paint them..) I opted for a design on my toe, which I was charged $5 for, after 3x of trying to get the design right, which took another 15-20 min. I miss the days when Minh was there, was always making you feel welcome, and he was so very cheerful. Every visit to the salon for me is at least $100. So I'm from Miami and decide to come here being that I was nearby the service is terrible so first of I soaked for almost an hour before someone came to do my pedicure and then I explained to her what I wanted which I didn't get then I asked someone who did understand and they told me to fix her mistake I would have to wait another 15 minutes now keep in mind I've been here for Almost 2 hours and then instead of waiting 15 minutes to fix her mistake I waited almost 30 no no never again... I came in and was not greeted at all, but watched numerous people come in afterwards and they were greeted. I sat and waited for 40 MINUTES with no word from any employee, with multiple guests who came in after me being told to come back. Not aware if they had appointments or not, but still the lack of respect was absolutely ridiculous. Finally got told to come back, then the technician was told by another technician that she had an appointment waiting. So she walked away. At that point I left. Went there to have my nails done for my wedding after $100+ dollars tech couldn't do style I asked for when I arrived. Manager offered to correct it (with the same tech who at this point had a attitude) but they could not perform the style. I am extremely disappointed bc you try to plan everything just right for this once in a lifetime event and to have this happen before my wedding was upsetting. I went tonight after work and they were able to do my nails right away, went in for a fill and the lady was so nice, she trimmed down my nails and made them a perfect round shape, my nails look great and I couldn't be happier! I'm really sad to write this review because the staff is super nice. I was in town and wanted my nails done. I had to wait a short while on a Tuesday afternoon. I saw this as a good sign. One gentleman ushered me over to the pedi chair and set to work. I have absolutely zero complaints regarding my pedicure. At the same time another gentleman came over and did my manicure. It was kind of awkward but I guess it was timesaving. Both gentleman were very nice. Now during the pedi, they asked me if I wanted a regular, sugar scrub or deluxe. They said the sugar scrub was $40 and I assumed that meant with the mani too. So I got that because it is only slightly more than I am used to paying. My mani was finished before my pedi and I paid. I was charged $60. That is the most I can ever remember paying for a regular mani/pedi, no gel polish. I normally pay $35 so $60 is a lot. I sat under the dryer for 20 minutes as instructed.They seemingly did a good job and they were really personable so whatever. But I did some errands and went back to my hotel. Two hours later I was retrieving something from my bag and my left thumbnail got horrendously messed up. I think their topcoat is old and gummy and contributed to this. The 35 dollar pedicure was wonderful, they take walk Ins and the environment makes you feel very comfortable. The staff will talk with you and are very sociable. Our massages weren't short and the quality for the price was spot on. There is no chemical smell when you walk in and the pedicure baths were cleaned well after we (my bestie and I ) were finished with our pedicures. Coming thru town for a wedding. I called an hour ahead to make an appointment, but walk-in is fine. $38 for a gel french manicure. It was done quickly, correctly and pleasantly. The atmosphere is nice and the technicians are friendly. I would guess they get crowded on weekends and evenings...might want to call ahead. Location is hard to see from the road. I agree with the first reviewer. I've had pedicures at many places, and this is one of few - at any price - where I don't notice mistakes afterward. Polish is applied properly in thin coats, so there's no premature chipping. The staff are always friendly, and they're efficient, so I get out in a reasonable amount of time. The price for a pedi is great, less than any other place nearby (including the one across the road where they use those horrible dremel devices on callouses!). Read Less

This is a really great spot for a pedicure (never had a manicure). I agree with the previous reviewer that nail salons are a dime a dozen and I've had plenty of mediocre pedicures. Not here. They do a great job. The salon is very clean and the staff are very polite and professional. Spa pedicure is $35 and it would probably be considered a deluxe just about anywhere else. Great spot. Nail salons are a dime a dozen in the Fairlawn area but most are a little disappointing.  I was thrilled to finally find this place.  They are almost always busy so be prepared to wait, but this is a testament to the salon -- everyone knows it's the best around.  They are very polite and efficient, the salon is clean and uncluttered, and the final result is great.  If you're looking for a quick, no-frills mani or pedi, this is your spot.
