I went in for a fill and the nail tech was rushing through the entire process. She did not remove all of the polish that was already on my nails. She applied the acrylic so fast and sloppy that once the acrylic was dry it stuck to the side of my finger. I informed her that the acrylic was applied sloppy and fast and she passed me along to the next Nail Tech. The next Nail Tech which is supposed to be the owner did not make it any better the shape was not right and the acrylic was still sticking to the side of my nails. Once I informed him that it still wasn't what I wanted and it was very sloppy he began to drill my finger nails very harshly to the point it hurted. He then ask me if I was going to pay and I said I need a discount and he stopped doing my nails. Meanwhile the first nail tech left because it was her time to get off work. The owner then informed me that this Nail Tech didn't even work in the shop I asked him why she was doing my nails and he had no response. I try not to be a hard person to get along with I try to understand the process of doing nails because I've been getting mine done for 10 years. But I feel even if I had come in the shop 5 minutes before a person was to get off, if they put me in their chair I expect them to take their time and do their job right! Went for a pedicure for my birthday. Got home it was messed up. Went back and got it fixed. Came home. Messed up again. I just said I would do my own pedicure. So much for a birthday treat to myself. Wasted money and time. I remember I used to go here with my Aunt before our modeling that evening. Service was great then. But now. Service is not so good. I went there by mistake but was willing to give them a try. The nail tech Mike I believe was his name suggested that I get the "coffin" nail once I had alreasy told him I wanted a simple square short nail he was talking very fast and before I could really get a word out he was preping my nail's I felt FORCED to get them done there they weren't busy. The majority of my nails are coffin shaped 3 of them are not. He also charged an extra $10 for polish that was supposed to be long lasting I got them done yesterday afternoon this morning the paint is already chipping. I rather pay to have someone else fix them I don't suggest this place to anyone they charge $53 for a regular full set top nails in Barberton charges $25 and their acrylic is a lot neater they take their time with your hands and feet I feel like I was over charged for a rush job Read Less

This has been my favorite and regualr salon since it opened. I liked it most for their customer service. Always greeted customers when they came in, managed who was next in line, overall great service ,etc. Not so much anymore . Not because of any of the nail techs, they're all fabulous. It's the management and or the owners. They are now disorganized and chaotic when I go in. And this review is not just for a single visit, been noticing for a while. Was happy and excited to hear they take appointments now so I could plan my time better and made one. Only to get there and no one was available, only the 2 owners already busy with others. A phone call or text would have been great instead of me wasting my time . Yes, I could have come another day, but I made this appt. because I was leaving for vacation the next day. I went in yesterday the guy told me 10 mins I waited an hour. Then they let the one girl experiment putting my tips on. I only stayed cause I'm not from around here and didn't want to keep driving around looking for nail shops. In the end someone else finished my nails but I don't like them still. Very nice service but my gel polish did not adhere at all! Not sure what they did or did not do, but what a waste of 35 dollars! This  is what my nails look like 48 hours after they were done. I have done nothing that was hard on my nails. No dishes, no cleaning, just basic everyday use. So disappointed. Read Less

I moved back up here from Florida and have been trying to find a new nail salon. This one was alright. I tried it out based off good reviews. The good: inexpensive. This is among the less expensive places in the area. The nail tech I had was SO nice. She talked to me just the right amount, not too much, just enough to be polite. She was so pleasant to be around. I would go back just for her. I wish I would have gotten her name. Also, my nails looked absolutely beautiful. I really like how they came out.  The hours of this place are also good, open later than others in the area. The not that good: this place is pretty ghetto. Prepare yourself. From the reviews, I didn't get the ghetto vibe. But once you walk in, you get it. The smell of nail polish is pretty bad in there. I usually don't notice but I did here. It seems relatively clean, could for sure be cleaner. The seats felt dirty to me, and I didn't like that the pedicure sinks didn't have the disposable things that go on them. The tv was pretty loud playing some type of murder mystery show- I prefer relaxing music, but I did get pretty into the show. They don't offer any beverages, maybe that's why it's so cheap. Wasn't the best pedicure I've had, or the worst. This place has pros and cons. For the price it seems worth it. I got just as good of a pedicure here as I would have at a more expensive place. I came here as a walk-in. But that's what everyone is, no appointments available. Mgr says because they're so busy, they couldn't take appointments. The first four seats were occupied with various nail jobs. There were two pedi and one mani ahead of me on the sheet. I waited in excess of 45 minutes as people who checked in after me were serviced first. There's definitely more staff available for pedicures than manis.The salon is relatively clean, with a small selection of gel polishes for my tastes. The staff spoke very little English, only to ask customers questions and were difficult to understand. Nails-a-flying! Literally while clipping someone's nails, a piece flew 5 feet and hit the lady waiting next to me. Not cool! She got up and moved.Jim did my nails which required removing a previous gel manicure. However I was not thrilled with the extent of removal done mechanically by that electronic thing. He took it all the way to the naked nail and used it to remove dead cuticles. Not professional. Plus, it got very heated at times and did not feel well. Standard removal of remaining polish using acetone, then scraping. Then more with that drill. He only used the cuticle clippers on one nail and put them back in the drawer-dirty!The polish job itself was decent, middle of the road. It wasn't as nice as some regarding edging and tips, but it's not chipped after 4 days and counting. I wasn't thrilled with their color selections, especially what was in OPI, or a lack there of.Positives, they worked around (didn't redo) the nail on a finger I recently cut, the cost is inexpensive ($30+tax), the checkout process was slick-they tell you the total at your station, take the card and bring your receipt.Overall, I will not return based on the unavoidable wait times and lack of customer service, i.e not speaking English in front of customers. This is the second time I have visited vintage nail bar and again the service and work was awesome!!!! First off the decor is so cute and trendy from the black crystal chandeliers and the plush platnium couches down to the amazing message chairs. Second the customer service is impeccable. They offer you complementary mermosa if you want and every technician in the shop are so welcoming and friendly. Lastly the designs and craitvity are great. They have every shade of polish you could want and if that's not enough they have glitters, gels, crystals, and much much more. I'm so glad I found vintage nail bar!!! This place is horrible! I called previously in the day to make an appointment and they told me they took walk ins only. So I walk in to get a mani-pedi and asked how long with would take, they told me 20 mins. I wait 20 mins before they take me back to sit in the pedi chair...then they left me me. I sat there for over 20 mins waiting to be helped. They actually took care of another person who came in AFTER I did. Finally after 20 mins and the water in the pedi chair getting cold, I got up and left. They were very unproffessional and I will NEVER go back again. Save yourself time and go somewhere else!!!
