I had the best experience I've ever had at Allure Nails. The nail technician not only fit me in on a busy day, but did it in a way that I felt very welcomed. I enjoyed pleasant, engaging, and enlightening conversation with the nail technian like I've never - ever- ever- been able to do before! I'm only giving it one star because of the time they took to do my hair. They charged me $75 for a retouch, $70 for highlights , $20 for toner $35 for a trim !! My hair cut from Allure Salon was the worst haircut I have ever received. The stylist did not seem to understand what I was asking for even after showing her pictures and explaining it multiple times. The cut took about an hour and a half and looks horrible. I asked for an undercut which she clearly did not know how to do, it is very uneven and looks ridiculous. I was charged for a master stylist when the young girl who cut my hair is barley out of school. I don't think she should be on the floor without supervision. It was so bad I had to go to another salon and pay for a second haircut. I am vey disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone ever! I love Star Nails! My fingers are curled up from scleroderma and it is not easy to give me a manicure. Peter has been very patient and careful with my hands and even though he has to move around me a lot to get to all my nails...they always look great. The shop is very clean and sanitary. I haven't had my nails done in a long time, because I lift weights and am overall really hard on my hands. However, after a long winter and impending sandal season on the horizon, I made an appointment for a pedicure, and decided to throw in a manicure for good measure.Allure is a very nice, clean salon. I liked the artwork on the walls, which looked like it was from local artists, and was all for sale. K was very nice, and also, great to talk to. Honestly, I've never been to a nail salon where i've been able to have really engaging conversations with my nail tech, like, ever. We talked about music, relationships, food...we really covered all bases! I walked out with matching toes and fingernails, and felt relaxed and overall really good about my experience.It's been about a week now, and my toes still look awesome. My manicure (I went with gel) has started to peel, but as I stated above, i'm really hard on my hands.I will definitely return to Allure. I'll definitely be using them for my wedding this fall, but will be back for a pedicure before then. Read Less

I went to Allure last night for some much needed highlights and had a wonderful experience! You don't realize how much you've neglected your hair until you get it done and see what it should look like. When I walked into Allure, I instantly felt at home. It's clean and trendy but with a touch of cozy. I was greeted right away by April and taken to a chair so she could get started on my hair. She asked a few questions to get a good idea of what kind of highlights I wanted. I like that she really paid attention to what I was asking for. A lot of times, hair stylists will listen, but then give you what they think you should have. For my hair, that usually means they give me very muted, barely-there, caramel color highlights but I explained that I wanted brighter blond highlights and that is exactly what I got. Hallelujah! Lol.We had a pleasant chit chat about our dogs while she worked on getting the highlights and foils put in. She did a very thorough job and got highlights in through all the layers of my hair in a very even but natural looking way. I love the fact that she noticed that I part my hair a certain way so the highlights followed the style of my hair. She really knows what she's doing and got the highlights in efficiently.When it was time to rinse out my hair, I was taken over to a sink and she made sure the water was the perfect temperature. I absolutely love the scent of the shampoo and conditioner they use! Next time, I'll have to check and see what brand it is and how much it costs. Once I was all cleaned up, she took me back to her station to blow dry my hair. Now, my hair doesn't really look like it but it holds a ridiculous amount of water. Most people just dry it enough to get me out the door but she really took her time and didn't give up! She dried it thoroughly and even applied some heat protecting product, then straightened it so it wasn't frizzy. I've never had highlights and not ended up with dry, brittle feeling hair. This is the first time my hair has ever felt softer after highlights than before.Overall, great experience! I showed my friends and family when I got home and everyone loved my hair. I came here twice for a bridal practice hair-do. Paid Becky twice and on my actual wedding day, she cancelled.  Her sister, the owner, ended up doing my hair.  I asked her to re-do a part on my hair and she acted like I was interfering with her time. I was just disappointed. Didn't feel comfortable or happy at all ....and this was my wedding day !!  I spent well over $500.00 here and in return I felt disrespected. Worst experience ever...my daughter had her nails done there Sunday and that day the Polish was peeling...I called them and they agreed to fix it and to give her a free mani and pedi...so we go and they just fix her nails in a different color from her toes....I take her back today and they only fixed one hand and then had the nerve to tell me extra money to change the color of her toes since they was not peeling...I explained to them that this child paid for own nails and toes with her own money and they could careless....so we left with different color nails toes and 2 totally different designs....they never did what they promised over the phone Read Less

Horrible service from the owner. Was here for a mani and pedi with an entire bridal party, while choosing my color I accidentally dropped the polish. Owner then informed me after getting all of my services that they would be adding $10 to my bill and refused to take it off. This is a hazard/liability of owning a nail salon and at the very least should have been shared with me before I continued to do business with them.  The owner just made money off of me slipping and dropping a half full bottle of polish.
