I love this place. I don't get my nails done often, so I typically have no idea where to go. I'm VERY picky, which is why I don't typically like to get my nails done. I now have a regular appointment. They are a nail salon that serves alcohol. It's perfect for a wedding party or bachelorette party kick off. Get your nails done then hit the bars downtown! I go to Brandy, but I trust anyone there. They are all hygiene freaks. That is the best part. I know I'm not going to leave with a fungus or infection of any kind. Read Less

I have been a repeat customer at the Nail Bar for several years and will not go anywhere else for a mani!  Karissa and the staff are exceptional: friendly, prompt,and professional!  The environment is cozy and unique--and I don't even drink (unless you count my "courtesy" diet coke)...After destroying my nails at another nail establishment (never, ever let someone use a filing machine on your natural nail!), Karissa has performed magic--my nails are once again strong and healthy! Awesome nail salon that does quality work.I have a standing appointment with Angel every other Tuesday morning.  She always greets me with coffee the way I like it and I've been one of her loyal customers for about a year now.I've never gotten anything but top notch service from her, and unlike everywhere else, her manicures, last upwards of six weeks (the longest I've gone in this past year w/out a mani from her).  I'd like to mention that I wear latex gloves all day every day at work AND I play guitar so I'm very rough on my nails.  I get compliments all day every day from people about how beautiful and artistic her nails are.  Angel even has a Pinterest page of all the different styles she's done so you can look through them before the appointment and get inspiration.  She has used real feathers, hand painted peacock feathers, done glitter tips and gradients and a manner of all different designs on me and I've loved them all.  You can pay $10-20 less if you want somewhere else, but I've found that my manis and pedis last so much longer when I get them done here, they always look fantastic, and I'd rather pay extra for the quality, TALENT, and the peaceful friendly spa-like environment with highly trained technicians.  Not to mention it's the only salon I've found in town that serves you beverages from coffee to wine while getting your mani/pedis done!  Amazing! This place is cool in theory but way too overpriced for a pedicure. I rather just go somewhere else and pay 20 dollars less (or in my case 30-read below).My husband and two guy friends they all bought their significant others (self included) a gift certificate for Christmas for 50 dollars. Upon using the certificate we chose a pedicure for $45. When she was doing my nails my nail artist asked if I wanted "the glitter" and I said "Sure". Little did I know that charge was 5 more dollars. I only figured that out later when my friend said she saw that. Okay shame on me I accidentally just paid 5 dollars for glitter, I wish the technician told me but oh well.So, I got a 45 dollar pedi, a 7 dollar glass of wine, and 5 dollar glitter. My total was $67 dollars.....where's the extra 10 come from!? With my certificate I was confused and frazzled and wanted to abstain from being "that girl" whose all "why is it so much!?" so I paid and left. The next day it bothered me so much that I just had to know why I was charged more.I called, and was informed that I was with a technician whose pedi's are 55 dollars. If that's the case, why wasn't it indicated on the brochure?! And why wasn't I told?! The person over the phone was as polite as one can be with an unhappy customer but was playing more of the "Sorry you don't like our prices" card instead of "Sorry we didn't inform you!" And she even said it was whoever booked the appointments fault. She said whoever booked should have told us that the prices range....what?! Shouldn't the company be sure to tell you, and not rely on customers to tell very important info?!Okay, so in the end a very nice pedicure and we got to enjoy a $7 dollar glass of wine that probably came from a 10 dollar bottle at best. The Nail Bar is a fun place to go if you would like a cocktail while you have your nails done. The atmosphere is cute and there is even food available if you want a snack while you are being pampered. The actual bar is very cool, with the drying area built in for your hands and toes. The Nail Bar has a great color selection available for your colors and the names of the pedi scrub's that are available sound and smell  like yummy cocktails. Read Less
