There was a reason why this place was empty while every other nail salon was full...
Initially I was greeted by the male owner, whom was very kind and seemed extremely friendly. I then was told to sit down in a chair, and was greeted by the female owner, who barely even gave me a side glace let alone a half-smile. I asked several times before sitting down if they did dip nails, and they insisted they did, but please, if you get dip nails done, DON'T GO HERE.
She started out fairly normal by removing the top layer of the dip with a small sander. She asked if I wanted to get my nails trimmed a bit and I said yes.
She literally took the sander, sped it up, AND SANDED MY NAILS DOWN FROM THE TIP. NO NAIL CLIPPERS USED. Not only were they uneven and deformed now, but they were also way too close to my finger tip.
She then proceeded to sand a little bit more off my previous dip, and made almost like a ramp. I was hoping to god she wasn't just going to slap some dip on top of my previous manicure, but low-and-behold, that's exactly what she did.
After what seemed like 5 disgustingly gloppy and uneven layers of dip, so sanded my nails down so it was somewhat smooth. This way of 'filling in' dip not only warped my nails, but caused them to become thick and uncomfortable.
They never took out the powder of my color, and when I asked them about it they insisted they understood what dip nails meant.
After she poorly sanded down the many layers of dip, she started glopping on layer after layer of GEL NAIL COLORING.
This is why I say, anyone, ANYONE who gets dip nails to not go here. They have NO IDEA what dip is.
Don't get me wrong, even though the service was sub-par, and everyone there looked like they hated their job, the manicure I got was pretty cheap, and took about 45 min.
Never coming back.
