I chose this nail salon based upon many reviews I read on Google, Facebook and Yelp. It's hard coming into a new town and finding your "perfect" nail salon, especially when you were treated really good at your other one.
I choose a very different color that most Salons do not carry and my fiance picks out unique designs that are difficult for some to do..
When I walked in Kevin greeted me and I showed him the picture I wanted. He wasn't sure that he could do that and told me straight up. But he did let me know that his wife who is at elegant nail salon which they also own is very crafty doing nail designs. I asked him if he could call her to see if she was available and he called her and told me that she would come up there to meet me and I didn't even have to go there. That to me was going above and beyond right there.
They even had my color!
While we were waiting for Kevin's wife Tina, Kevin took off my other SNS nail color and offered me a cold drink which I gladly accepted. Tina arrived looked at the picture and got right to work..
When it came time to do the design she could not find her special brush. She looked all over but to no avail the brush was nowhere to be found. Even without her brush she was able to knock my nails out of the park. She did a fabulous job!
I was very impressed and realized right then that they would be my new nail salon as long as I'm in this area..
After she was done I asked her to do my eyebrows. They had a very lovely station for that and she did a wonderful job doing my brows as well. After my eyebrows I decided why not get my pedicure here as well. Sam took fantastic care of me and did a awesome job. She had me laughing practically the whole time with her easy going personality and humor.
Don't let the outside of this building deceive you. Once you walk in it's like a little Paradise. Very clean and very neat and very well up to date.. Tina did the decorating and did an awesome job..
I was very impressed all around and if I could give them 10 Stars I would. I really enjoyed my experience and I will definitely be back and recommend them 100%.

I got a mani/pedi here. Sam and Quae are great! Sam did my pedicure and she’s lovely. Kevin did my nails. I asked for SNS pink and ombré. He thought I said French tips. So he started over. My nails look misshapen and terrible. After paying $72, I tried to explain that I wasn’t happy about my nails and that I wished for them to be taken off the next day. Kevin said that the ombré wasn’t supposed to be identical. Another woman told me that she would be able to reshape the nails but they wouldn’t be able to take them off without me paying an extra fee. I explained my disdain for the service I received and they didn’t care.

This salon charged my card 2 times for one $80.00 service. I came to show the owner Kevin the statement and he refused to return the duplicate payment. I will not be going back and I encourage you to watch him when he takes your card and returns with the receipt. He will charge you 2 times and refuse to credit your account. Do not go to this salon. Kevin is a criminal!

In Vancouver for a few days..needed my nails done. Googled and found Minoko Nail Studio and gave it a try. Had a pedicure and a fill with shellac. Pedicure was good...kinda short but good...wanted more foot massage..lol.. not complaining though...I like it. .but my nails..OUTSTANDING! !! Joy took the time and picked at my nails to the most insignificant detail...but not insignificant to me. I am a picky client when it comes to my nails.... I will pay the price, no questions asked but I know what I want... thin but not to thin, curved in the right place, nail polish perfect...shape is the most important and Joy gave me that and more. I am impressed..I am looking at my nails trying to find something wrong with them and I can't. .. She took the time and she actually listened to what I wanted and she delivered. I didn't feel rushed even though she was busy...she focused on my nails to the last detail. I work in service and I know what good service is.... Thank you Joy!!! 5* for you!!! Giving this place satisfactory!! On three occasions I've been here one nail tech did a poor paint job on my toes. Picked up a gel color by mistake didnt tell me it was gel until it was time to pay the whole gel process took an hour or more. Then tonight a nail tech attempt to put a DIRTY rubber spacer thing that separate your toes on my toes!!! I and and another young lady saw it. when questioned her was it dirty she had the dumbest look on face and her response was huh!! Needless to say after tonight I won't be back!!!!!! Oh and there was a clean rubber spacer in the drawer that I made sure that the tech nail use.... pure laziness!!!

Downtown Loacation: Bad service, bad nail job. My french mani was uneven and started flaking the next day, while I was told it would last up to a week. They were 15 mins late and I was just left to wait, no water/tea anything. Work area was dirty, I was not impressed. Finally, the price was not the same as advertised on their website - so you pay even more than anticipated for a bad job. Will not be returning.

CUSTOMER BEWARE!!!!! I went to the Granville location to get a full set of UV gel nails before my wedding and it was the worse experience ever!!! The girl that helped me told me it was $59 and that is the price of a "Master" Artist (Junior Artist price would be $49). Having said that, it was not work of a "Master" artist at all. While buffing out the gel that was placed on top of my nails with a sand paper spinning tool I had 5 fingers and 1 thumb that was all raw from the sa...nding. it was so painful and when I asked them about it, she did apologize. At the time I thought, damage was already done. She said that after my pedicure was done, I could wash my hands and she can put some cuticle oil on it. I was more hoping for disinfectant since my skin was all sanded down and cut. When it came time to pay, I was handing them my credit card and my thumb started bleeding non-stop. I asked for a tissue and they didn't even want to knowledge what had happened which was very disappointing. This was a more expensive place and I though customer service would be way better. I had to be like "I don't think my fingers should be bleeding after a nail session". The girl helping me had to get her supervisor and in Mandarin, the supervisor told the girl, you did it too deep. After the whole ordeal, they still wanted to change me full price but I told them I don't feel like I should pay for this. so in the end they said they would just charge for the pedicure. Which was fine, but I will not be back. My fingers hurt for a week after, it hurt every time I washed my hands and it hurt on my wedding day. WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! there are a million and one places out there to get your nails done. After cutting me with their tools I did not see them throw anything away. Which is an EXTREMELY unsanitary and unsafe practice. See More

I chose this nail salon based upon many reviews I read on Google, Facebook and Yelp. It's hard coming into a new town and finding your "perfect" nail salon, especially when you were treated really good at your other one.
