Worst experience of my life. Pedicure was ok, SNS manicure was a different story. Left with every single one of my nails bleeding. When asked she said i have thin skin, i have never had this happen before at any other nail salon. She was so rough and continuously hitting my skin with the nail drill piece. Also witnessed one of the techs get up from preforming a pedicure on one client and went to go fix another clients finger nail polish with the SAME GLOVES on from the 1st client. Literally worst basic manicure of my life. I kep telling the manicurist that it was splotchy and he just kept layering it on. Manicure 101 tells u that anymore than 2 layers means it will chip easily. Then when I tried to sit there to allow them to dry (I wait the full 20-30 minutes because I dont like smudging) they tried to rush me out of the door. Listen if I wanted my nails to look like I did them in the bathroom of a plane before landing, I could’ve made that happen (and they probably wouldve looked better!) Needless to say, I got them done 6pm last night and it is 1035am the next day and they are already chipping. SOOOO NOT WORTH IT!!! Read Less

My SNS started chipping shortly after a week. They wanted to charge to repair it which would have been fine had it been 2 weeks. I've had SNS for 2 years and the only other time I've had chipping issues before 2 weeks is with a salon that was using off brand products. I will not be returning and I will make a point to let people know to stay away! Read Less

I will never go anywhere else again. I have never been this happy with my nails. Everything from the color to the shape; its all perfect. I had a great experience! Tee and Helen were welcoming, friendly, and did an amazing job. They offer a wide variety of pedicure packages to choose from. I choose the mill & honey package which includes a scrub and hot rock massage. The overall experience was very relaxing. I will definitely be back. Read Less

I've been several times and always loved the service but last night the gentleman who did my nails (Andy) talked so much he forgot basic things he needed to do on my pedicure service. He was extremely nice but I was hoping to relax after a very stressful week. I don't mind talking but even the people sitting around me asked "who wound him up". The other pedicurist said something to him and he lowered his voice. He wouldn't stop talking even after I closed my eyes. I was just looking for a more relaxing experience. Read Less

If I could leave a -5, I would. I had an awful experience at Nails Tech. It was my first time going because I had a gift certificate. I had an appt for first thing in the morning and was there for almost four hours for a pedicure and full set. They were pushy and rude all THREE times I had to take time out of my extremely busy life to have these nails done. I got there at 930 Saturday morning and did not leave until after 1 pm. The pedicure was great, but I had the worst exp...erience with my full set. The technician took so long to get to me, but had already started the process so I couldn't just leave. Once I finally did get out of there, one of my nails broke literally in the parking lot. I immediately called and explained what happened and made an appointment for the next day. I was taken back quickly when I went back, but after fixed it (and had to shape up all of the others due to them being in such awful shape) she told me they couldn't finish them that day, that I would have to go back the next day. I was so pissed but needed them fixed because it cost $55 for a gel full set. Another one broke before I could go back the next day. She even admitted to me that she could tell it was not my fault they were breaking and she had to apply more acrylic to pretty much all of them. Then, she tells me she wouldn't paint them again unless I paid $20. I told her she would paint them and it was ridiculous how the salon was ran. Literally two other people were complaining while I was there the third time about the same nail tech I had originally, so it clearly wasn't just me. My first time visiting this salon. And i will not be back. I read other reviews about “pushy” service but everyone’s opinion of pushy is different so I gave it a chance.... and it proved to be extremely true. I was disappointed that I asked for GEL nails and they gave me SNS anyway after going back and fourth about MY nails. I ended up paying $45 with a $5 dollar tip for a TERRIBLE job, the nails were not filed down properly and they’re lumpy all over. The tech also told me that i was the reason she couldn’t get her own nails done for NYE even though I made an appt. AND I didn’t even ask for SNS which takes about an hour longer than gel nails. This was my favorite place to have my nails done until this last visit. I asked for a specific design and the finished result looked nothing like what I asked for. But my nail tech was super nice and I let it go because they were really busy and I didn’t want to complain over something simple. But within 2 days 3 of my nails had cracked polish already. Usually SNS lasts for 4-6 weeks on my nails. When I went in to have it fixed they basically told me it was my fault they cracked but they would fix the cracked nails. They made me drive to a different location to show the manager and all he did was file my nails down to where the polish had cracked. So now some of my nails are super short and I still have the same terrible design, which the manager agreed was a sloppy job. I was hoping for better customer service than this. Read Less

Was charged extra to remove nail polish and was not told before hand. I spoke with the owner and told her the extra fee was not told to me and it was not listed on their menu as well. She just told me that their menus they had out was new, I thought all the more reason you should have the updated charges and fees. This is one of my favorite nail salons in Winston-Salem! Although some reviews have complained about the staff, I have found them to be very helpful, talented nail technicians that are extremely friendly. The atmosphere here is top notch for a high-end nail salon and is well-suited to handle large parties/groups. They do an amazing job with gel/shallac manicures and I have found that their pedicures are especially calming and relaxing. . They also have an extensive spa service list for pedicures that I thoroughly have enjoyed. Another one of my favorite things about this salon is that they offer wine, coffee or water to clientele as they wait or have their nails done I would give it 5-stars if it weren't for the prices, as they are a bit high in my opinion for a Triad-area nail salon. I went there a week ago for an sns which is supposed to last for 3 weeks. My nails started cracking within 5 days and the first broke off yesterday and 2 more today. Very disappointed since I've had shellac last 3 weeks with ease and other sns last 4. Not with the money. Read Less

They talk amongst themselves. They do not acknowledge Your Existence just your fingernails. I have never been so ignored in my entire life. This was an experience to celebrate my daughter going to school. But I wasn't allowed to enjoy it. They speak in Korean language I believe. And I looked around and that none of them were speaking to their customers. They need to treat their customers nicer. I won't be going back my nails look okay. Read Less

I loved my pedicure and the choices they had there to choose from. I like that they had wine, soft drinks, and a couple other things to choose from to relax you even more while you were there. I went on a Sunday on spur of the moment. They were really busy, that was the only downside to the visit. Other than the wait, it was a good experience. Went with my daughter for main pedi, very clean and pleasant. They are good with kids and reasonably priced. There was no wait or crowd but we had an appt. they had a huge selection of the best OPI summer colors and since they're recently opened, the bottles are crisp and clean. I will definitely go back. I would recommend Nail Tech to everyone and anyone! We were a bachelorette party getting manis and pedis and we were treated like royalty! Johnny took care of us and gave us the best service I've ever had at a nail salon. My pedicure was amazing. The nail tech took over and hour and didn't try to rush through the massaging and other minor details that make pedicures great. She was a perfectionist. They gave the bride chocolates and flowers, which was such a sweet treat. I do not live in Winston, but wish I did so I could continue going to Nail Tech for my nail services. They are the best!! Horrible first and only time at Nails Tech. I arrived on time for my appointment. Was greeted and told to pick out my polish. While doing that I was told my water was ready. Got to the station and after that, I was not acknowledged for the next 30 minutes, while all that time there were various employees milling around. It was only when I grabbed a towel and started drying my feet did someone say "she'll be right with you." I chose not to wait any longer. Another employee said "Come back. We'll see you next time."
