I just went to your store. I have been a customer there for over a year and love going! But today I walked in the door and there was no one there. I called out "Hello! Hello!" But there was no one in the building. I sat in a chair and about 10 minutes later a man came in through the back door. He saw me and said "do you need something?" I said "yes, sns please." He told me to sit down, then he yelled to someone who was in the back (but this person didn't answer when I called ...out a few minutes ago!) And then he proceeded to go sit in a corner and play on his phone. I asked him where the colors were so I could pick mine out, he pointed and said over there. No attempt made, acted like I was an inconvenience. After sitting a few MORE minutes, I got up and said, "do you have someone to do my nails? If not should I come another time?" Con Artists! First off, I went to get my nails done 9/13. Decent experience. I chose a glitter nail polish and the tech said there was actual glitter that she wanted to try. I really like the end result and I asked if I could suggest the glitter in the future. She emphatically said "YES." (her name is Lily). I go EXACTLY two weeks later on 9/27 and one nail had fallen completely off and the other were so lifted, it was ridiculous! You would have thought I had gone a month. So, I request the glitter from Lily that she had given me last time. She brought it over, and these women in THEIR NATIVE LANGUAGE obviously had a conversation to charge me $8 for the glitter nails that I got. The charge WAS NOT conveyed to me, period. When it comes time to pay, I was quoted $27. I inquired to Lily about the free glitter before, and she said that she must've given me a discount. So the fact that they spoke about this in their language pissed me off even more. They charged more than the baseline "fill-in" price because of my nails. This also pissed me off because I literally came in 2 weeks later and it was not my fault that the nail tech did so poorly. I'm a student, so I don't do much with my hands for the nails to look like they did. Every time I go to this salon, we are greeted immediately and they are all so nice. Very friendly and sweet when making conversation. I saw hat they actually build relationships with their clients and they have many repeating clients that came in. I took my mom here for her birthday and she loved it and I came back again because of the service. I made the wrong decision to go somewhere else for the first time and ended up with a cut on my cuticle. I need just come back here! I highly recommend this nail salon! Not impressed! This was my second time visiting this nail salon and it will be my last. I walked in and they sat me in the pedicure chair to soak my feet. I was thinking great I guess someone is available to start my pedicure soon BUT no they let me sit with my feet in water for 15 + minutes and said nothing. I had to track someone down to ask how much longer. I ended up being there for 90 minutes getting a basic pedicure and eyebrow wax. I don't mind hanging out and relaxing but the inefficiency and lack of communication is what got to me. Also, the girl doing my pedicure's favorite word was NO. I said I wanted to put my sandals on before she paints my toenails so that I didn't have to put on the awkward cheap flip flops and she no and then put them on me anyway. This place is fantastic. I would rate them 10 out of 5 stars. I actually drive an hour from Wilkesboro, NC to get my nails done here. The work and service they provide is always great quality. The associates talk to you and really try to make the experiment personal while being very friendly. They inquire about your preferences and offer suggestions. They are truly customer centric, which you don't find very often with nail salons. Not to mention, my nails turn out looking great and I tend to get a lot of compliments on them, of course I like the pink and white. I certainly recommend! Read Less

My son and I was there yesterday 2/24/17. Don't believe any bad reviews on here they get 10 starts in my book... went in with a picture that I found out of California and ask if they could do that and Ms. Cindy said yes.... and they were identical to the picture .... very professional friendly atmosphere they get gain two new customers ... and yes the complementary wine was awesome too.... if you look in the pictures on this page and look for yesterday photos and mine are the rainbow tips... Just lost a customer. I went for a fill in, pedicure, and eyebrow wax Thursday (2/16/17) and the next day 4 of my toes polish peeled completely off. That's never happened anywhere else when I've gotten a pedicure with REGULAR polish (which I always use for a pedicure). I went back yesterday (2/20/17) to get them repainted. Once I'm finished they charged me $10 for the same color polish that should have been free considering how recently they were just done, especially after already paying $73 that Thursday altogether. I shouldn't have to pay for coming back to fix what they messed up. Customer service should have been a little bit better, since I enjoyed getting my nails done there. But not anymore. Read Less

They do not even deserve 1 star- I have been there 4 times- first 3 time were just ok- Today they totally messed my nails up!  Then charged me $30- I will never ever again go back nor will my friends... such a shame!  Its a nice building with ever changing staff- Booo!!!  As a follow up- it cost me another $50 to have my nails fixed and my actual nails will have to grow out as the lady at this location ruined them- I did NOT have fake nails, I only used the gel polish- However, after weeks of trying to get my nails fixed, it was discovered that the tech at this business used acrylic on my natural nails... it was clearly communicated that I wanted gel- There was No communication issue as I was stopping the nail tech every step of the way insisting that No one had ever done it the way she was doing them nor had they used the powder- She did not speak english but appeared to understand as she was nodding her head when I asked if this was gel- every time  I have never been more upset over a service!  Also the other girl who finally came in, was rude when I explained what had been done- If you care about your nails do not go here!!!! I came in this morning at 9:15 and they seated me right away for a pedicure.  The atmosphere was very relaxing and clean.  They were all professional and friendly and offered all of the customers drinks.  I was done with my service by 10am & it was only $25.  What a great deal!  Lisa did a great job.  I plan to come back. I have been to other places but the techs here really try to educate you on what's best for you. They do not try to hassle you into expensive treatments. They have a wonderful deluxe pedi that you must try. Better than at a resort! !! Read Less

I like this place a lot. The first time I was in here, I was the only one and I really got to talk to the female owner. It was nice. However, my SNS barely lasted when normally it last me over two weeks. Within a few days I had chipping. The pedicures are normal. Nothing special. Pedis OK. Nails bad. Atmosphere sad. Foremost. I rarely give 1 star but I really hope this establishment gets it together and I've had so many failed attempts, I'm going back to another nail place constantly to do it right. I wish I could give Nail Studio a better review because the people are nice and pedicures are fine but the nails and manis are bad bad bad and the atmosphere looks very unkempt. I had to wait thirty minutes one time because the nail techs were decorating each others nails and didn't even speak to me. I've had my nails done there a couple of times now because I had a gift certificate. Each time the gel polish was uneven (translucent then dark and blotchy) and chipped off within the first week! Also, I wanted Shellac. They had several brands of gel polish but only a sample of maybe 5 colors from the one I liked. Colors I did not want. It was a hodgepodge of colors and a depressing atmosphere. They need to pick a couple of good gel brands and stick with that. The couch and chairs in the waiting area I will not sit on if I can help it. They'r every stained with dirty covers coming off of the chairs.. Maybe they will clean up the front from the clutter and ripped up, dirty seats and more people will come back. If you're going for a pedi, you will be fine. If you're going for a mani, it's best not to chance it because it will likely be a waste of money and you'll have to keep going back or as I have done, go to another salon to fix it. This place is GREAT! Just moved here 1-2 months ago, my adult daughter and I have been coming here since and we LOVE this place. They do a good job on a regular manicure and on fills for gel-powder nails (we have lived a lot of different places and they call it different things everywhere).They are courteous and perfectionists with the nails. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Found about it after I had already gone to 2 other places closer to my house. Was visiting Sweet Frog and asked where the woman at the register had her nails done... I've been to several nail salons in Winston Salem and this by far is the best in every way. They appreciate their repeat customer. Most salons here are only concerned about the quantity of customers that come through their doors instead of loyal customers. I highly recommend Cindy and her staff. Girl please! Your feet need you to walk up in here! lol! :) TIP! If you go from Monday-Wednesday they have a hot stone pedicure for $19 bucks! That's a steal!! :) I really like this place, because although it is a bit pricey you get a lot for the basic packages! I got a pedicure today, and I got the hot stone treatment, wine (yes, I said wine) or beverage of your choice, grapes, a good scrub, massage, color and all that for $25 bucks! She really took her time to make sure my feet were not nasty, because they really were when I came in! It was nice to pamper my feet after a hard week! I generally get my eye brows waxed here every six weeks too although the last time they were a little short but still workable. I don't think I was very clear on how I wanted them and the girl I normally go to wasn't there that day. I would still go back. They still do a super fast, thorough job and trust me with hot wax you need that!! In any case, it's an awesome place.
