Unfortunately, there was not much to be positive about. As little product was used to scrub my legs and feet. On the second leg, I could barely feel any scrub. Maybe they are saving it for another customer, like the one beside me--she had a different tech and she received a really nice scrub.Oh wait! There was a long massage. That was positive! And needed. Ok back to the not so good stuff. I was never rinsed off with clean water after the scrub. Just the dirty water splashed around my feet and legs. I was not asked if I wanted my nails cut down, so when I asked about it after my shoes were put on, a CUTICLE trimmer was used to cut them (making one toenail much shorter than the rest) and instead of rinsing my feet off with water, a towel was used and some of the buffed/filed nail residue was still in the crevices of my nails. The tool to clean under the nail and around the nail bed was never used, but my neighbor got a thorough cleaning around hers. Then I didn't receive any base before my french pedicure. When I asked for two top coats BECAUSE I didn't get a base coat, I was flashed a bottle of something that looked like pure alcohol (or the substance used before applying the true base from a gel nail set). He said that WAS the base coat. What the heck? That isn't even polish! It's all cruddy in the crevices of my toes. Instead of taking the brush and using acetone to clean any excess nail polish from my toes (like my neighbor!), another layer of polish was applied to the skin and then a fingernail was used. Needless to say, after drying, all I have is white crud around the outside of my nails. So, if you want the tackiest, least amount of effort, least amount of product for a $32 french pedicure, go to City Nails. For poor service, you will not be disappointed, but if you want quality, run and go elsewhere! Well, the tech next to me did a great job, I just don't know her name. My tech was a male, so if he is the only one available, wait for someone else. Read Less
