I've been a customer at this nail salon for over 10 years and let's just say after today's visit I will NEVER return nor would I recommend any one else go here for services. The owner, Kim seems pleasant at first but will get an attitude and mistreat customers and staff when she is annoyed by them. For example today 7/24/17 I went in for a fill in and repair (two nails) Kim's husband who is NOT a great nail tech began to fill my nails. The two nails that needed to be repaired had to be replaced and of course acrylic and shaping of all the nails would need to be done for the fill in. When I first sat down at her husbands chair I asked was he good at and knew how to do COFFIN NAILS, his response was yes. Let's just say the results were square. I complained and asked for them to be re shaped by either him or another tech with better skills of what I wanted. Kim immediately stated "come back tomorrow I fix it for you". I told her no and that I wanted them re shaped today or I would not be paying for the services simply because this is not what i asked for and if you were unsure of how then that should have been said in the beginning and I would've went elsewhere to have a fill in done and also it's 3 in the afternoon, why would I come back tomorrow when you have more than enough time to correct my services. After Kim got an attitude with me she stomps away mumbling in her language then proceeds to slam my cellphone, purse and the polish of my choice on the desk of where her husbands desk was. It was then that I knew I would catch a charge if I didn't leave that establishment. I will never return after my experience today. Trust me people save your time and money and go elsewhere. Had my nails done here last week. At first, everyone seemed very friendly and I had hoped to relax for an hour while having my nails done. Started to become nervous when teh tech kept asking "you like?" every five minutes. She was really asking , is this good enough so I can move on to the other customers she was also working on during my service. I only had my toe nails repainted because I had just had a pedi and that was fine. I did pay to have a full gel manicure and originally the dremel (drill) was pulled out to remove my old polish. I did tell her that wasn't going to  happen. Attitude is getting less friendly now but she does soak the old gel off. All she ever touched was my nails, nothing done to the skin on my hands, no cuticle soak. Nothing but poor shaping of my nails and gel. At the end she offer some hand cream to me and asked if I wanted some. I didn't have my glasses on (who would think I would need to keep checking a basic gel french mani?) She asked, "light pink and white?" I said OK, although I had clear on with white tips originally. I am a pretty low maintenance girl who is rarely dissatisfied. When I get back to my hotel I realize she has put light pick, VERY SPARKLY pink as the undercoat for my french manicure. The kind that would have been perfect if I was a three year old, not a professional woman over the age of forty.  I thought I couldn't be any more annoyed, until less than a week later, the polish starts PEELING off! I paid the going rate for a gel polish so I would have to worry about my nails for at least two weeks. Don't even think about going here. I am so sorry I did. I have been going to this salon for 6 months now, and I always knew the owner was a little off, today I got proof. I came in for my appointment with my regular girl but she still had someone so the owner started my fill. Then all of the sudden she went over to one of the other girls and took some of her nail supplies the girl told her if you want to use my supplies please pay me for them. She went back and slammed the items back and started  with loud voice talking in her laugage to another girl grabed my hand and started to put the wrong filler on my nails the other girl told her she was putting wrong fill on,  she walked away and I was told to go to another table I felt so uncomfortable and through all of this never was I told sorry or anything except if I wanted to come back later I said no my nails are half done. I was in town working and realized I was way over due for a pedicure. Since I was staying across the street at the Courtyard Marriott I figured I'll give Angel Nails a try. The service provided was superb! Not only was the service top notch; the "Deluxe Pedicure" comes with a complimentary glass of wine.The owner David and his wife treated me like I was a guest at they home.  I think this was "thee best" pedicure I've ever had, I will definitely return again! When I moved to Winston Salem I tried a few places close to where I lived. Angel nails was one that I tried and I wanted SNS. They only have 1 girl that did them at the time and she worked mostly by appointment. The people that answer the phone are hard to understand and when scheduling would schedule you whenever you wanted to come in. The problem was the SNS tech had her own appointments too and they never looked at her schedule. I came in on 2 occasions and had to wait awhile 1 time and the 2nd time had to leave and go elsewhere because I couldn't wait due to going out of town. First, I will say everyone here was extremely pleasant and I enjoyed talking with them as I got my nails done. Also, the place looks clean and acceptable. However, the gel manicure was just all around not good. The color selection for gel is limited. Half of my nails were filed extremely crooked and, while she did attempt to fix them when I pointed it out, she was unable to. Finally, the gel manicure started chipping off without any extreme activity only 3 days after getting them done! I mind as well have gotten a regular manicure for 1/3 the price.This place is a little bit cheaper than others around ($25 for gel mani), but I say spend the extra $5 and go somewhere where the gel will last two weeks like it should. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stores! I got an amazing pedicure complete with hot stones! I literally fell asleep while I was getting my pedicure which is something I've never done before. I also got a basic manicure (I like my fingernails natural) and the technician did a really good job as well! I spent less than $60 including tip. I wish I had asked for the technicians' names but I'm really bad about doing that. This place is reasonably priced and delivers a good quality nail service! It isn't the most up to date on the inside but the chairs work and are comfortable and again the services are excellent! The price is also hard to beat! I will definitely be making this my regular nail spot! They also gave me a few treats AND I learned about a Korean market in Greensboro. I just cannot rave about this place enough! Read Less

I had to double check the address before I wrote this review because I didn't think it was the same place from the reviews below. I just moved to WS and based upon these reviews I chose Angel Nails for my first stop. My routine is to get a pedicure every two weeks, so I don't think my feet were really overdue or required a lot of effort.My pedicure water was freezing, ice bucket challenge, cold. When I mentioned it was cold, hot water was run for about 10 seconds. Great, now it's only really cold. A callus shaver was used on my heels, which are illegal in NC BTW, and my feet are so sore today I can barely walk. I don't know about the previous review about a set of nails costing $25, mine cost $45, and I think the nail tech said that nobody gets a pink and white set any more. So I guess I'm just a freakshow. The regular polish selection was lacking unless you like maroon. Gelish/Shellac seemed to be very popular, and did have more color selection. The nail techs were very nice, and friendly. I'm not much of a talker and she picked up on that, which I appreciated. I was offered a beverage, which was nice. The TV was blaring a soccer game, and since they don't have cable it was the only choice. Please just turn that sucker off. Sorry ladies, you were very sweet, but I won't be back. I hardly ever give 5 star reviews and I think technically, if I were as picky as I normally am, I would give 4.5 but since that's not an option, I will round up. The service was amazing. I was in the area for a meeting and wanted to try to find a place to do my nails before my engagement pictures the next day. It was a little late so I wasn't sure what kind of place I'd find open at that time. I called one place and they said they closed in 30 mins and would reopen the next day. Then I called this place and the lady was so excited, she told me to come immediately. Even when I explained I was all the way across town, she insisted that I come and she would take care of me. So I went. When I got there, both she and the man who did my toes were very nice. They asked me repeatedly if I wanted anything and they did not rush me at all even though it was late and they were technically closed. They didn't even let on that they'd had a long day and wanted to go home (which would be my reaction if somebody tried to come late). I just can't say enough nice things about the service.  Not only was the service nice, but they spoke to me in English and kept conversation in their native language to a minimum. That's one thing I appreciate as it always feels weird because most techs look at you and talk away in their own language and you have no idea what they are saying. That didn't happen here and I didn't get any uncomfortable vibes. Huge plus!The only downside is that my manicure polish was a little thick and chipped off. It wasn't the best I'd ever had. Seriously, the pedicure I got was the best I've ever had! I went in not expecting much, as other nail shops I've visited in the triad/triangle weren't anything special but I was happily excited when I left, knowing I found a special gem. The interior is very simple-nothing spectacular but very clean. The woman who gave me a pedicure was extremely thorough. I received a basic pedicure that lasted 45 minutes and left my feet feeling the smoothest I can remember. I appreciated so much her attention to detail and how she took her time and made me feel pampered. Although I live an hour and a half away, I will definitely be returning here when I'm in the area. Very disappointed. My sister and I went here they got started on her immediately but I waited an hour to get any service. Her nails were already drying. She wasn't impressed with the manicure she received. I had shellac put on my nails. They did an awful job! My nails weren't evenly filed, I had them do a French manicure and the white tips were huge and uneven. In addition to that my shellac started coming off after only 3 days. That stuff was supposed to last 2 weeks! Maybe it was an off day for them but I was not impressed. Read Less
