After going to almost every nail salon in Leland, I finally tried Hollywood (not sure what took me so long because it's the closest one to my house!) This is now my go-to salon and I recommend it to everyone who asks. I even bring my mom and grandma when they come into town. I came into the salon every two weeks for a gel mani and pedi during my pregnancy and each time the staff made sure I was properly taken care of and always made me feel amazing (even at 9 months pregnant when my feet were swollen and I felt anything BUT amazing). This place is ridiculous. Sign in on the sheet. Wait 2 hours. Then have other people get called back before you that came in after you and are listed on the sheet after you. Go to ask about it, the aheet your name is on is in the trash. And the lady laughs like oh you’ll be next. What’s the point of a sign in sheet if your not going to actually use it? After visiting my own salon for a few years receiving mediocre service but accepting it as it was close by, I asked a friend at Sally's beauty supply where I should go. She recommended this place. I was thrilled with not only the service, but experience. They knew exactly what i wanted, how i wanted it and to top it off I got a hand massage with warm towel at the end? Hollywood Nails & Spa was by far my favorite salon for nails in Winnabow. Hollywood Nails & Spa was a wonderful place for a little nail pampering. The polish on my two manicures lasted a grand total of 2 weeks a piece!!!I was welcomed warmly by the owner here. There is no overwhelming odor and everything seems very sanitized and safe. The staff was super friendly and I always leave relaxed. No matter what service you get at Hollywood Nails & Spa you will be treated like royalty. I honestly don't enough a good words to say about Hollywood Nails & Spa. They did a great job with various nail sets. My wait time was roughly about 5 to 10 minutes unlike to wait long time from another salons. Unlike many nail technicians, staff here was do worked very hard and patiently. I was felt significantly cleaner and germ free by their tools. My nails be remaining to last 2 weeks. Great prices as well. Unlike any nail salons, this salon always helps me do all! Let me first preface this by saying that I came in with the worst my nails have ever looked. I recently moved to Wilmington 9 months ago. I have been the three salons. The latest was the best thus far. I have been going to get my nails done for 20 years so I consider myself someone who has an eye for good salons. I came across this salon on my way home from work. I am so happy I did. The owner is very nice, climate was wonderful, busy, yet still very personal. I really had the best manicure I have had in a long time. My nails look wonderful. Coming from a big city I had lots of places to go. When I found out the owners of this salon also transplanted from Cali I felt right at home. They aim to please and will work hard to make sure you are satisfied. The place is well lit and always clean. Had the best Manicure and Pedicure for my wedding. I had only heard good things about the spa and knew it was the place for me and bridesmaids. The staff is amazingly friendly and offer helpful ideas when you are not sure what you want. Very reasonably priced, plus you get a free Bath & Body product when you spend $60 and they are full size products not trial/travel sizes. Can not say enough good things. Probably the most enjoyable pedicure I've had. The salon is new, clean and nicely decorated. Great location in Brunswick Forest. Visiting relatives here and I plan to come back for another pedicure whenever I'm in town. I thought the price ($25) was very reasonable too. Wesley was very nice and did a great job.
