A quaint little gem hidden off the beaten path in Wilmington. I stopped here to let someone else get a polish change and gave it a shot to get a pedicure and couldn't be more pleased. The staff is friendly, the salon is immaculate and they have a cooler with beverages that are free for their clients! This place was FANTASTIC! We came here as 3 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. It was the toddler's first time getting her nails done!We all got pedicures (even the toddler!) and the staff was super friendly and patient. They have a special pink bear chair for the toddlers and did a great job getting her nails done quickly while she was squirming a bit. They were so patient and our littlest gal loved her nails! My nails looked terrible. He sanded off my set instead of soaking off, so now my nails are in a lot of pain. Underneath is gunk with glue. The thickness and shape are all uneven. There are a lot of bubbles in nails. I will never go back!!Read Less

Very clean and very friendly people. We arrived there on a Sunday right when they opened. Even though they had a lot of people coming in after we arrived they did not rush through the service.The prices are reasonable and they have a large color selection. They also have a cute chair for kids pedicures and make kids feel just as pampered as an adult. (No rush service) Read Less

One of the worst pedicures I've ever had. There were wires all over the ceiling hanging down, only some of which were attached to lights. The complimentary drinks were a nice touch but the women (yes, 3 different people worked on my toes) had no idea what they were doing. They used cuticle softener in place of a scrub and then no lotion, then proceeded to give my nails the worst nail art job I've ever seen. Seriously, my 7 year old cousin does better work. I am new to the area so visited Lisa Nails based upon the current Yelp reviews and the fact that it's close to home.The site and sign on the door indicated they open at 9:30am, however, I arrived at 10:50am.There was one gentleman working on a manicure for the sole customer.  I was advised that the girl that does pedicures would not be in for another 10-15 minutes and asked that I pick out a polish color and help myself to a chair.After appx 10 minutes of waiting, the gentleman came and put some water in the pedi tub so I could soak.  I was fine with this as its a rarity that I have the opportunity to enjoy some "me" time. The music was great!The girl that does pedicures arrived about 10 minutes later so in total I had been waiting 20-25 minutes.  Unfortunately, she brought her son to work (someone later came to take him to daycare) and it took her another 10 minutes to get situated and started.  Within appx 5 minutes of starting my work, two additional customers walked in asking for pedicures.I grimaced knowing that my time would be dramatically cut which it was.  The polish was rushed and not fully covering some nails.  The massage was brief and quite lacking.  The business appeared clean and well kept, the chairs were comfortable and again, the music was great.  While giving my nails time to dry, the male employee used the restroom and failed to wash his hands afterwards.  Based on that aspect alone, gloves or not, I will not be returning. Lisa nails is hands down, no pun intended, the best nail salon in Wilmington. I have been to several around the area and no one compares with their customer service. I have had a fluke nail come off before and they were willing to fix it at NO CHARGE. Even if they are busy, luckily she owns another shop she can send someone from! The owner is the sweetest thing and always makes sure you are satisfied, if not she will fix it herself. I have had nails by everyone there and was never dissatisfied. THANKS GUYS!!!! Went in there on a whim and was completely satisfied! I just got my manicure from this location by a girl named Harley. When you walk in it's an asian/island getaway. They have no distracting flat screen tv's but beautiful soothing classical music. The place is decorated very nicely, organized, and not crowded looking. I really liked Harley because she was not in a rush. She took her time and really paid attention to the little details. I got a simple manicure and for the first time I felt like I should have paid more than $15. Definitely will return! Read Less
