I love this salon. Great atmosphere and friendly environment. I came in last week with a bridal party. What an experience, Johnny, the manager of the salon went above and beyond to service us ensuring we had a good time. Emily, Hannah, Jolie, Julie, Rachel, Lily and Lisa were fun. I had a Signature Pedicure with gel and I loved it. Oh did I mention how funny and friendly Johnny and Emily were. They also served wines. I have been going to LA Nails monthly since 2009, and I have never been disappointed with any of my experiences there. My nails of choice have always been pink and white, and Emily has consistently prepared beautiful nails for me. Additionally, I love to have designs painted onto some of my nails for holidays, special occasions, or just everyday style. Emily has also taken personal connection very seriously by remembering events and situations in my life and asking me about them at each visit. It has always impressed me how she remembers so many clients by name and keeps track of clients who are related or friends. The pedicures are amazing as well, so I have recommended them to both men and women for relaxation and a confidence boost. LA Nails seems to have many customers for gel nails, and they have an almost overwhelming selection of colors available, so I have never seen a customer who was unable to find the perfect color for their taste. It is important to note that walk-ins are welcome, but you may have to wait if you come at a busy time, so I would recommend making an appointment if you would rather not risk having to potentially wait for service. I've been trying most of the nails salons in Wilmington and did not like them until I went to LA Nails. There are three things that I like about this salon: #1: customer service, Johnny, the shop's manager, went above and beyond to ensure I satisfied with my service. #2: they used disposable liners for the pedicure tubs for sanitation purposes. I work in the health industry so I can appreciate this. #3: they served house wines. Go here!!!!!I've been getting my mani-pedies at LA Nails for a year now and refuse to go anywhere else. As a Chicago native, I can confidently say that this salon is of high quality with lower prices than my favorite nail salon spots back home. The staff is fantastic and makes you feel like a family friend. They remembered me on my second visit, which had me hooked. Emily, Lisa, Jennifer, and Johnny always finish my nails to perfection and makes sure I'm happy with the results too. If not, they'll happily fix it. I recently switched to LA Nails and what sold me to "give them a try" was how helpful Ken was when I walked in to look at colors after visiting one of the neighboring businesses. I returned and Jolie assisted me with my shellac mani & pedi and I have remained a customer of LA Nails and Jolie since. Jolie does a great job, never rushes and is always prepared for my appointment times. The staff are a pleasure to joke and laugh with AND they have 300+ colors in shellac. These girls were fantastic. My Boyfriend, his cousin and I went to get pre-Christmas Pedis after a big day of pre-Christmas sale shopping. It was pretty amazing. Our feet were tired and those soaks and massages were exactly what our toesies needed. The girls were engaged with us the whole time and full of personality, which made the experience much more fun. They even gave us a few tips, if you want a really good foot massage, go first thing in the morning! They get tired during the day from using those massaging muscles. I hate cutting my toe nails and i love great foot rubs.Went here to get a pedicure and lacey was there to greet me. I got the grand deluxe ($35 package). With some sparkle nail polish! Chairs we're typical massage chairs.No hot towels, wine, champagne, snacks or tea (yes those places exist) with my pedicure.But that foot rub though... easily made up for all the things I was missing at my regular pedicure place.It was so good I had to set my phone down and close my eyes and just enjoy the nirvana like trance I was put into by lacey and her magical hands.Friendly people.Only criticism is the chemical scent of polish is way too strong in the establishment.Otherwise great place!
