It is very clean, all parts of their pedicure tub get cleaned entirely with proper cleaning products. The Pedicure it self is one of the best I have had. The massage was more than just a little rubbing it was actually a real massage. I was spoken to not around and he was very attentive to my needs likes and dislikes. Horrible! Paid $35 for a shellac Fill. Came back 3 days later because my nails were lifting and chipping. They argued with me about fixing them, told me I would have to come back in a few days. Lamer Nails & Spa in Wilmington is definitely at the top of my list. Lamer Nails & Spa is very clean and all technicians are focused on getting the job done. The receptionist is welcoming and informative to first time customers. She even saw I had finished my margarita and came to make me another! The manager is professional, attentive, and interacts with the customers. I never saw him sit down to look at his phone. He was constantly walking around to make sure all were satisfied. Very friendly, clean and cozy spot to get your nails done. Their service is exceptional and they have a wide range of options including gel colors.They do great nails. A good place for nails. Super quick service! I was in and out in less than half an hour for a gel mani. I love how my nails came out. Even with the quick service, quality was not affected. Returned to this spot today, for the second time, and I believe I have found my go-to nail salon on the island. I've tried many around here and they are always inconsistent. I had the citrus pedi today and it was amazing. They did an excellent job. They took her time, did not rush and gave one awesome stone massage. And my nail polish looks great, no missed areas or painted skin. They told me that they will be introducing both a chocolate and aloe Vera pedicure soon so I cannot wait to try these in the future. Will not go back to La Mer Nails.  They used drill to remove Gel, which is a shortcut and drilled too deep on the first nail.  My nail is still throbbing.  I had an appointment but manicurist ran all over salon working on other people during manicure leaving me with shoddy messy nails. Read Less

Apparently, Vinny and Ginger have sold this salon.  I went there this past weekend, 4/12/2015 for a full set of acrylic tips for $25.  She kept pushing the LCN line for $50.  I kept saying no and she stated she'd do them for $40.  I still said no, that I didn't have the money.  She actually asked me how much money I had and she'd cut me a deal.  JUST PUT ON THE ACRYLIC ONES PLEASE!I have to say, she did a terrible job.  She used white tips which do not come all the over to cover my entire nail.  When I pointed it out to her, she tried to file it away...UM, I think not.She then asked which color gel I wanted, white or pink.  I always get white.  She stated that the ;pink looks more natural and always comes out better.  Well, she was wrong.  My nails look ridiculous.  I will not be returning ever to this salon.  I miss Vinny as when he did my nails, they were always perfect.Very dissatisfied... I have always had great experiences at this salon. It was recently sold and I just had the best experience ever. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. It is clean, and the staff do a great job. My deluxe massage was just $35 and included a lengthy calf massage and sugar scrub. Highly recommended. Read Less

What a great spot! We dropped in and got 2 seats right away for pedicures and let me tell you this place gets 5 stars for the foot massage alone. While down in Figure 8 Island I went with my mother and daughter for a manicure & pedicure at this Nail Salon. We loved it, it was beautiful, the ladies did a wonderful job. It was one of the cleanest shops I have ever been in and we loved the pedicure massage chairs. Going to try out the Facials the next time were down for the weekend. Read Less
