Jordan was the absolute best!! I went with a friend (we booked the appointments online the day of) and we both felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. They had many drink options which was so nice. Jordan gave me the nicest scalp massage when she was washing my hair. I’ve been burned while getting a blow out at another place and was a little nervous going into this blow out but I had no reason to be because they use high end Dyson hairdryers and high end hair products like Oribe. Highly recommend Set Blowout Bar!!! I will definitely be back!!

Engagement photo hair fail.... I went on Sunday, 04mar18, to have the June blow out. I called on Friday to confirm I could show up with dry hair because my hair doesn't hold a curl very well and day old dirty hair works best for that. I was told I could. I show up and I'm told I have to have it washed. Well, ok. They use a moisturizing shampoo and condition my hair top to bottom. My fault, I should have requested they not use moisturizing shampoo and DEFINITELY not condition root to ends. My hair is super oily and that is a recipe for disaster. After an hour and a half I emerge with hair that was ok. I had engagement photos very shortly after so I needed to be on my way. I could have done this at home with better results. I don't often get my hair done so much of this were things I didn't think about. Hindsight is 20/20. My hair was done by 2:30. Photo in my review was taken at 5. It was a hot stringy mess. I'm very sad at my engagement photos.... I should have went to a stylist who would work on dry hair but I was told they would. I saw the work on focus on the coast weddings, etc so I assumed I'd be happy with the results and judging by the reviews most are. However, if you are like me with oily scalp (therefore oily hair) and long hair that doesn't hold a curl very well, I think you are wasting your money. It was a windy day but honestly we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of wind downtown. My hair was limp and lifeless in the car ride to the engagement photos and all the moisturizer made it look so stringy.

I have been to Brush Dry Bar several times- it is addictive! Ashleigh does my blow outs and she is amazing! She knows how to get my curly/ wavy hair smooth with just enough volume at the roots, and a nice curl at the bottom. I get so many compliments when I leave! The products they use there are high quality, too. I highly recommend this place- especially Ashleigh!

My sister got married this past weekend... 80 degrees in February...whhhhattt... 7 of us girls had our hair done before the rehearsal on Friday. We had such a fun experience. The atmosphere was fun, relaxing, and very professional. We had a blast with the staff and instantly regretted not booking them for the wedding day hair... Ironically enough, wedding day rolls around and the bride and 2 of us bridesmaids HATE our hair. Its 12:00, we have to be ready by 2:30, and the hair was a mess. I called Jessica, one of the brush girls, and basically begged her to come fix our hair. She immediately was like "Yes, I'm otw" and came to us and literally saved the day. All three of us loved our hair and received numerous compliments throughout the night. We can not express our gratitude to the girls at Brush Dry Bar, but especially Jessica! Ya'll are amazing!! Thank you again and again :)

Can't say enough good things about this place! The stylists and atmosphere are both awesome. My bridesmaids and I went before my rehearsal dinner and loved it. We were as pleased with the experience as we were with our hair. Jessica was particularly awesome for making herself available when we had hair drama the day of the wedding. Can't wait to go back!

From the moment I walked into this salon I was met with an attitude by the owner. After I checked in I met with my stylist, who asked me what I wanted. To be fair I came prepared with picture so as to avoid any misunderstanding what I wanted.She looked at the picture once and proceeded to wash and style my hair. Not once did she have any questions or concerns about what I wanted.During my service no one offered me a beverage not even the owner. I was the only customer in the salon so it's not like they were busy.My stylist wasn't even paying any real attention me as she was engaged in conversation with everyone else and stopping my service from time to time to listen to what they had to say.Never once did she refer back to the picture to see if she was doing what I paid her to do. She finished and asked if I liked it. The answer was no because it was flat and had no shape.The owner tried to say my hair wasn't cut that way and my hair color was to blame. She wanted me to tell my stylist how she could fix it. I told her it was obvious that she can't do my hair (there is nothing wrong with my haircut) and she had a picture to go by. None of them could care less that I wasn't happy. The owner was like, well that will be $35.00. I paid my bill sans tip and left. It was a waste of my time and money.

I just love coming here to get a peace of mind and relax. I'm very shy when it comes to my hair(transitioning from relaxed hair to natural)and Emily makes me feel very comfortable. I suffer from bad breakage in the back of my head, so it's shorter in the back but with a little TLC Emily makes my mini afro feel like strands of silk. Now I'm able to have confidence to match my smile........ :-).

The other day, for date night, I wanted something different. I always wear my hair the same way. Jessica did an up style for me. I didn't even ask for anything specific. She did such a cool, whimsical updo for me. My boyfriend never mentions what I do to my hair, but when I saw him, it's the first thing he mentioned. I didn't even want to take it down at the end of the night. I considered sleeping in it! Thank you so much Jessica! Brush dry bar is an awesome place. The location is perfect. It is beautifully decorated. It is super clean. All the girls are sweet, and fun. My blowouts last until I have to shampoo my hair. They will educate you before you leave on how to extend your style as long as possible! Highly recommend it.

I received a free blow out from the girls at the dry bar for being a hair model during one of there training classes a few months ago. I scheduled my appointment online with Emily, it was really easy to use the website to set up my appointment. We arrived to the Salon and were immediately greeted by the girl working the appointment desk, Emily came up and brought us over to her chair and offered me and my girlfriends a mimosa and a chair. The Salon is so cute on the inside everything is decorated with white and gold and all the employees were dressed in black. The Salon was really sheek and modern. After talking to Emily and selecting my favorite look she took me over to wash my hair and then got to work. I was in and out in 40 minutes and my hair looked great. The service was exceptional and the setting was clean and welcoming. I will definitely be back again, and will be recommending this place to my friends.

Brush Dry Bar is awesome! This business serves many purposes! I love it because when I get a Blow out there, my hair doesn't need to be washed again for several days. My hair is naturally curly so it is VERY hard to keep a good blow out! But Denise manages to do it every single time! I have had several other girls do an amazing job on my hair there. Coming from a background of hairstylists, I know when something is done right or wrong. They do everything right!! And the Oribe products are TOP NOTCH!! Whether you want to go in and get pampered or just go in because you simply don't have the time and energy to wash and fix your hair, this place is the answer!! For me, it is a life saver!! Some people have hair that no matter who does it, or what products are used, it will fall out...and that's just life. So those people probably shouldn't be leaving reviews to ward people off. Trust me, if Brush dry bar wasn't as good as I say it is, then I would not be spending my money there once a week!! I have the hardest hair to manage...and if my blowout lasts 4 days every single time then so will yours! Give them and try you won't be disappointed!!

I just have to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Kim & Kate! I've been in Wilmington for 20+ years an a blowout bar is what we have been missing. I've had a few of the signature styles done and loved each one. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a pretty basic person in my everyday life ---hair in a ponytail or barely brushed. Playing dress up is my favorite & I have been taking full advantage of finally having a place to go have my hair done. Keep up the good work, can't wait till the next time I have a night out so I can come visit again.

Was so excited to actually see a blow dry bar here in my area and couldn't wait to make an appointment. Well, as the saying goes... If I knew then what I know now! Please don't waste your money if you want a style that actually stays for more than 30 minutes!! I had one of their signature blow outs for $35 and although the stylist, Denise, was super sweet and I liked her a lot (actually wish she worked independently so I could go to her!) the products they are required to use and upsell are HORRENDOUS for anyone with long hair! The curls only held for 5 minutes and after one hour of just sitting around it did not even look like a curling iron had touched my hair!! The owner/manager? was really weird when checking me out and kept talking about wanting to join "Rachel Zoe" for $200 to get her box. Uuuugh. Please, this isn't a high end salon and I really resented someone who kept talking and talking about a box subscription the entire time I checked out. What a disappointment. Denise was fabulous but she deserves to work in a less "Massage Envy" type of environment. SMH. 6 blow outs are $180!?!? You may as well stay at home, use your own curling iron and some Big Sexy Hair and I promise you that your hair style will stay longer!! Their products are not meant for a climate like we have. They do not last.

Brush Dry Bar is a breath of fresh air! I have naturally curly hair that also has color. Stylists usually freak out when they see my natural hair texture. But stylist (ERIN) took the time to do a consultation before doing my services by asking about my hair care needs and then selecting the right products that would give my hair a shiny, sleek look without the frizz. And to add to the great experience ERIN was very professional and very pleasant!

They had many drink options which was so nice. Jordan gave me the nicest scalp massage when she was washing my hair. The Salon is so cute on the inside everything is decorated with white and gold and all the employees were dressed in black. The Salon was really sheek and modern. After talking to Emily and selecting my favorite look she took me over to wash my hair and then got to work. I was in and out in 40 minutes and my hair looked great. The service was exceptional and the setting was clean and welcoming. I will definitely be back again, and will be recommending this place to my friends.

Brush Dry Bar is awesome! This business serves many purposes! I love it because when I get a Blow out there, my hair doesn't need to be washed again for several days. My hair is naturally curly so it is VERY hard to keep a good blow out! But Denise manages to do it every single time! I have had several other girls do an amazing job on my hair there. Coming from a background of hairstylists, I know when something is done right or wrong. They do everything right!! And the Oribe products are TOP NOTCH!! Whether you want to go in and get pampered or just go in because you simply don't have the time and energy to wash and fix your hair, this place is the answer!! For me, it is a life saver!! Some people have hair that no matter who does it, or what products are used, it will fall out...and that's just life. So those people probably shouldn't be leaving reviews to ward people off. Trust me, if Brush dry bar wasn't as good as I say it is, then I would not be spending my money there once a week!! I have the hardest hair to manage...and if my blowout lasts 4 days every single time then so will yours! Give them and try you won't be disappointed!!

I just have to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Kim & Kate! I've been in Wilmington for 20+ years an a blowout bar is what we have been missing. I've had a few of the signature styles done and loved each one. Anyone that knows me knows I'm a pretty basic person in my everyday life ---hair in a ponytail or barely brushed. Playing dress up is my favorite & I have been taking full advantage of finally having a place to go have my hair done. Keep up the good work, can't wait till the next time I have a night out so I can come visit again.

Was so excited to actually see a blow dry bar here in my area and couldn't wait to make an appointment. Well, as the saying goes... If I knew then what I know now! Please don't waste your money if you want a style that actually stays for more than 30 minutes!! I had one of their signature blow outs for $35 and although the stylist, Denise, was super sweet and I liked her a lot (actually wish she worked independently so I could go to her!) the products they are required to use and upsell are HORRENDOUS for anyone with long hair! The curls only held for 5 minutes and after one hour of just sitting around it did not even look like a curling iron had touched my hair!! The owner/manager? was really weird when checking me out and kept talking about wanting to join "Rachel Zoe" for $200 to get her box. Uuuugh. Please, this isn't a high end salon and I really resented someone who kept talking and talking about a box subscription the entire time I checked out. What a disappointment. Denise was fabulous but she deserves to work in a less "Massage Envy" type of environment. SMH. 6 blow outs are $180!?!? You may as well stay at home, use your own curling iron and some Big Sexy Hair and I promise you that your hair style will stay longer!! Their products are not meant for a climate like we have. They do not last.

Brush Dry Bar is a breath of fresh air! I have naturally curly hair that also has color. Stylists usually freak out when they see my natural hair texture. But stylist (ERIN) took the time to do a consultation before doing my services by asking about my hair care needs and then selecting the right products that would give my hair a shiny, sleek look without the frizz. And to add to the great experience ERIN was very professional and very pleasant!
