My mom went with me and her nail tech was dumb as a box of hammers. My mom asked for a very simple design. I went for my first time to get a pedicure in 3 years. I was told 30.00 for a pedicure when I checked out was told 42.00. My feet are still rough, I'm not thrilled with this place at all. I was allowed to walk out and go to another Salon after having an appointment. Cassie scheduled me a week in advance and when I arrived, she told me someone else would do my nails. I would not allow it. This happened several times in 8 years. I did not receive the quality I've grown accustomed to when I allowed a less experienced person to do my nails. Cassie basically told me to go and I did!!! Finesse happily took me in as a walk in! This is poor service! There are too many nail salons in this and other areas for me to accept poor service. I do not recommend anyone go to this place. I went there today for an eyebrow wax, and the lady took a chunk of my eyebrow out! To add insult to injury, she told me it was like that when I got there...... really???? I only write reviews when the business does something VERY wrong. I had a simple gel manicure done. The girl filed the top of my nails to remove the old gel but she over filed them and she was also scraping my skin I had to tell her twice to be careful. The same week my nails started to bend and break from being too weak they broke all the way down to where it hurts. I had the strongest nails before going to that salon 😣. Read Less

Hont does great pedicures. Gel manicure services were ok. They have to learn to listen to their customers and stop forces products and services that are not needed. Cassy claimed to be the only knowledgeable nail technician, so she worked on me and two (2) other customers simultaneously.....not good. She needs to train her staff, so that customers don't have to wait. Cassy engaged in a distasteful discussion with a customer who was being serviced by another lady about a customer who recently bought a house on a lake front. Poor business etiquette. The people are super friendly, you can understand them. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and another fantastic thing is you can see them sanitizing there instruments. I used to be a regular at this salon. They routinely schedule appointments for 9:30 am but don't show up to open the place til sometimes 9:40-9:45. Then you wait another 5-10 minutes for them to start your appointment. Never an apology. Not once. If I'm on time for my appointment, then you should be too! Then, a few weeks ago I had to cancel an appointment. I called a full day ahead and left a message on their voice mail. When I called back to reschedule I got attitude from the woman saying I missed my appointment. When I told her I had left a voice mail she tells me voice mail doesn't work. How is that my problem? I live in Waxhaw and was going to a local nail salon that I was happy with. Then Sephora Nails opened about 5 or 6 years ago and changed everything. The technicians are experienced and you can expect to see the same ones each visit. Prices are fair and service is exceptional. They only use top notch products. I walked in at around 1:35 today and needed a fill and polish change, I was told it would be a little while so I knew in advance that I would be waiting. Sat down about 30 minutes later and Tracy started my fill, she also fixed what previously had been done by another salon and did an excellent job! I felt so relaxed the whole time I was there and it smelled wonderful, not a strong nail scent like other places I've been. I passed Sephora everyday for months without giving it a try, because I was happy with my nail girl. I had a party to go to and wanted to look my best, and my nail girl was not around. So, I took the chance and it paid off.I had a wonderful experience at Sephora Nail Salon. Cassie is awesome, she does a great job and the prices are very reasonable. I came across the Sephora Nail salon and decided to call and make appointments since the internet gave them such high reviews. I was told they could accomodate the 4 of us at 5 PM. I left work early to be there on time. At 5:35 we were still waiting. The reason I called ahead is because we only had one hour to be there before heading home. When I make an appointment I expect to be seen within a reasonable time frame for the scheduled time. Five minutes or even 10 minutes late would have been okay but 30 minutues is unacceptable. I will NEVER go here again , nor would I ever recommend anyone to use this salon. If they couldn't accomodate us when we walked in , they should have said so right then and there. At least we wouldn't have been held hostage there thinking our turn was at any minute. Again, NEVER would I patronize this business. Oh, and if you like crying babies or a 3 year old who is dying to be entertained and looking for a playmate out of potential customers, then this is the place for you.
