Tried Amy's for the first time a few weeks ago. I had an appointment, but they weren't ready for me until over 30 minutes later. Not apologetic about the wait at all. I got gel nails done and it took almost 2 hours (not including the wait time) because the woman kept getting up and walking off. She would go work on other people, answer the phone, and at one point just got up and walked into the back room without a word to me. After she'd been gone for 5 minutes, I got up to look for her but someone stopped me and called her back out. While she worked, I watched the guy working at another station wipe his runny nose about 50 times while he worked on another girl. Disgusting. My nails looked nice, but chipped at the tops after a few days, which didn't happen (ever) with my last salon.Should have learned my lesson, but made another appointment last weekend to give them a second try. I live closeby and really wanted it to work. Thought I'd just use a different person and hopefully have a better outcome. Made an appointment for 4:30. Got there at 4:25, signed in, waited. Someone came over and asked if I had an appointment and confirmed it in their appointment book. Kept waiting. Finally, at 4:45, the older woman came over and told me I DIDN'T have an appointment. I hadn't talked to her at all, so I'm not sure when they decided they were too busy for me, but she insisted I did not have an appointment. I told her when I'd called, what was said, that I'd made the appointment for 4:30, that I'd confirmed with that guy over there who checked the book, etc.She then said they were too busy for me either way and they could take me in an hour. I walked out. They didn't apologize at all and didn't seem to care. Never, never again. Read Less
