I have been going to this nail salon for about 5 years. Whether I'm getting a fill, pedicure or wax, they are always very attentive and positive. Visited on Friday, June 1st. Decent appointment. I left really happy, just as I have the past few times. Technicians don’t talk very much to me, but figured it was because I was new to their salon. Visited again on June 8th (today). I do not usually go so close together, but 2 nails broke, and 5 were peeling. I have a special event this saturday, and wanted a fresh manicure! Just walked out, without any service done, due to how rude the receptionist was. Other customers even noted how rude the interaction went. I was told to do something, that I couldn’t understand... then yelled at for not following her directions. It turns out she was telling me to have a seat at one of the tables- but I thought I heard “you wait for me” as she pointed at me. Then she came back around the corner (noticing I didn’t follow) and said “I TOLD YOU! COME WITH ME!” I said “Oh! I’m so sorry, I didn’t understand you.” And sat down. I became more frustrated thinking about how she had just interacted, so I got up and left. A customer stopped me on the way out and said “She was so rude. I hear you, and I don’t have time for that either.” I had just established myself there, and have been visiting every two weeks for the past two months. I went to get a pedicure and the nail tech gave me no time to pick my color. She grabbed me by the arm to pulled me to my pedicure station. As she worked on my feet she was very rough and even cut me with the nail file. This place is horrible and I wouldn’t even take my dog there to get her nails done!! This used to be my “go to” nail salon. Even with the higher prices, the service seemed better. A lot has changed since then. Poor quality service (techs are snippy) And poor quality products. They seem to use a lot of drying polish. I hesitated submitting this review, but feel they can turn things around if they see that their current performance isn’t what the customers want. Read Less

Terrible. Made an appointment for when they opened. Had to wait 30 minutes until they started. They obviously let people in before they opened and got started and disregarded our appointment, because we were even 10 minutes early. The wait was more than I expected but it was worth every minute. The staff is wonderful and the pedicure was amazing! I currently go to a different salon for my nails but I've been going there for 5 years. I didn't care for how they did pedicures. I always felt rushed. So I decided to try something new . I was not pleased with the service that I received here!  The guy that was to provide my service was very rude. Him and the guy working next to him. I chose a color of f of the nail ring and when he went to paint my nails it looked like a totally different color. I asked him if I could pick another color and he told me to "go get it myself". He had cut my nails down so he charged me 5 dollars. Much better off going a few stores down to Wynn Nail Bar. Way better service! Read Less

Never again - worst pedi ever! I went in to get a pedi and asked for someone who would be gentle with me. The lady didn't understand me, and asked if I wanted a wax. What??!! No. The lady who did my pedi was not gentle at all, in fact, she never spoke to me, no eye contact. She and the other 7 or 8 vietnamese people who worked there kept up a steady stream of gossip, completely ignoring me and the other English speaking customers in there. They spoke in Vietnamese the whole time, constantly, which was really rude. She snipped the edge of my toenail off and it bled a little bit and really hurt! When I said "Ouch!" and leaned down to touch the toe, she didn't even acknowledge me, just went right on chatting with her friends. I went in because I needed to relax and de-stress, and ended up feeling like I was on a production line, no more than a job to be done with little care or attention. I will never go back there. Very clean and professionally run shop! You are greeted immediately upon arrival, seated promptly, and offered a beverage. They are usually busy, but their spacious shop accommodates a number of guests at a time. Quick, efficient, and polite! Read Less

I go with my daughter about once a month for pedicures. We always make an appointment with Kim and Mary. They are wonderful. The time spent with them is always very relaxing, they know just what we like, and they remember what you need from the previous visit. We pay a little more, are generous tippers and will always be back. Wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend this place. Read Less

Worst nail salon I've ever been to. Went in for a pedicure and manicure. I always get shellac gel polish for my manicure and the color I had chosen apparently was "old" and "no good" so they had me pick out another and she put the new color ON TOP of the "old, no good color". Then tells me this is how you're supposed to do gel manicures. We all know that's a lie. The end result is patchy and lumpy and it's the worst service I've ever received. Ended up paying for the whole service even though it was so horrible I didn't even want the paint on my nails anymore. One of the "owners" argued with me and told me to come back and she would redo it. If you're looking for a good nail salon, go to Paintbar. This is the first and last time I will patronize this nail salon. This morning I called around comparing different salons in the area and chose to go to Tre Bella based on their price and good reviews. By mistake, I drove to AQ instead. When I went in and told the girl at the front desk I had a 5:00 pm appt. she did not say anything to me about not having an appt. on their books and just sent me to a chair. Sue was a very great nail technician! She took the time to make sure I loved the colors I chose and ensure the plolish application was perfect! Unfortunately, I will never go back to this salon based on the horrible customer service with the girl at the front desk & when it came time to pay; which supersedes Sue's personalized experience. They charged me $54 where as I was expecting to pay 50, $25 each for a manicure and pedicure. When I mentioned that the man on the phone told me it would be $25 each the girl at the front desk just passed the buck and sent me onto the next person. They discussed back-and-forth who was working that morning and who would've answered the phone. They were more concerned with determining that rather than getting to bottom of the confusion & offering a solution for both parties involved. Furthermore,  I asked the girl why she didn't say something to me when I walked in and said I had an appt., however I was not on her books. She just looked away from me to another customer and ignored me. I have read other reviews that she just gets someone else to handle any situation where there is a problem. This is how my situation was handled as well. If they want to provide good customer service to their guests they should have someone working in that position who will take responsibility & who is empowered to help people. I had already read other reviews about the terrible attitude of the girl at the front desk & can back this up 100%. I had also read about people being overcharged at the salon and that's the exact same reason why I chose another salon in the 1st place. My decision not to patronize this salon was correct from the get go and going forward I will take my business else where. Read Less

It was my first time going to this salon today, I took my mother along with me, And today is a Sunday. We got there about 1 o'clock in the afternoon and it was absolutely packed and they have only been up an hour. The two very young girls at the front desk don't look a day over 16 and they didn't know how long the wait was when I asked, I guess the manager came over and told us it would only be about five minutes and insisted we filled out a form. We were serviced pretty much right away. my nail tech was really good she did great with my pedicure and it was very relaxing, however the nail tech that did my mothers pedicure was very rough as she has sensitive feet. One of her feet came out baby smooth and the other one still has a lot of very dry skin. only problem that I had was the two teenage girls were very rude to the other workers that were there, that are probably 3 times their age. One of the girls asked one of the older technicians to pour her two glasses of wine for a guest, once the older lady declined (as she looked extremely busy) the young teenager poured her own glasses of wine and complained that it was not her job to pour wine as it was her job to be at the front desk.  However idk why she was pouring wine and is clearly not at the age limit to serve alcohol, my biggest concern was that she was very rude to her co workers. She had a very terrible attitude. And I didn't think you could work at a salon under the age of 18. The only reason I give it three stars because the technicians were very fast and efficient I was in and out in under half an hour. And it only cost me around $30. Read Less

I went to this salon for 4-5 months.  I really liked my regular tech; she was great.  The only problem was if she wasn't there it seems I was charged a few dollars more for the same service, not once, but twice! I was just getting shelac polish with a design.  When I finally got an appointment with my regular tech, she was even appalled that I was charged more.  She said in no way should that have happened.  It really turned me off from going there. Went to this place for the 2nd time to get a pedicure.  The guy rubbed a sore on my foot with the pumice stone.  He tried to act like it was nothing.  Told the lady at check out, she acted like it was nothing.  Well, 3 days later, I'm still wearing a bandaid and triple antibiotic on my foot and it hurts to walk in my shoes! I used to like this place but something has changed. It's obvious if you are not an every 2 week return customer you aren't going to get great service. Last two visits I felt my nails were rushed because a customer wanted the nail tech doing my nails to do hers. Also, during the second visit the nail tech put one hand in the warmer with the cuticle cream on it an the warmer wasn't turned on. I tried to explain this to her and she acted like she didn't understand. Then she trimmed  my cuticles on that hand and cut me drawing blood on one finger. At the end of all this she pressured me to have my eyebrows waxed. I told her no and she kept pressuring me saying "clean them up look pretty" I declined a second time and she was like, "make your eyes look big" Finally I told her loudly so that everyone could hear and turn and look at me, "I have no eyebrows these are penciled in!"
