I just got a mani pedi with acrylic gel nails. The older gentleman did a wonderful job on my nails asking me questions to make sure I liked how they looked. I use to love this place sooo much. However, the past few times I’ve been my nails have been soooo poorly done! I decided to give them another try a few days ago and was yet again disappointed. Almost all of my nails have dips and ripples in them and not even 10 minutes after I had left the salon my GEL POLISH was chipping off.. not impress at all & certainly won’t be returning. I was getting my eyebrows done and a angry older lady burst in the room and told the girl stop wasting time on eyebrows when there are pedicures and a full set waiting. I had just gotten a full set. I went because I had a gift card, it was the worst "manicure" I have ever received. First off my gel "manicure" lasted all of 10 minutes (they were not even busy) the girl I had rushed through everything. She was going so fast while she was doing my cuticles she managed to make almost all of them bleed then proceeded to pour alcohol on my bleeding cuticles. Then I got maybe a 15 second message on each hand then said I was done. This was by far the worst manicure I have received and I know for a fact I will not be going there again, I paid 30$ for her to rush through my hands in 10 minutes. Read Less

i've been to this salon before for a pedicure and it was pretty good from what i remembered. when i went today for a pedicure it was not like my last experience. the water in my tub looked so dirty i didn't even know that was the tub i was supposed to be using, i honestly thought it was just a tub someone had just used that they hadn't cleaned yet. not to mention the multiple flies flying around in there. my nail tech did not seem to know what she was doing and it seemed like she was just making it up as she went along. she clipped all my nails uneven, she only filed the nails on one foot, and forgot to use cuticle softener on the other before just pulling my cuticles without the softener or even pushing them first. the experience was in no way relaxing and i had my teeth clenched the entire time. it was painful and pretty aggressive. the nails tech had nails that were just a little too long and was constantly scratching the sole of my foot during my massage. she also for whatever reason scrubbed my legs with a NAIL BRUSH. it was very painful and that is not what that tool is for. it just seemed careless and like she didn't care about the job she was doing at all. the overall polish is whatever. nothing to rave about. i could've honestly done a better job. i will not be returning. I went here last night and I showed Mai Lam the picture of the nail design on the attached hand photo. She did them perfectly and put a lot into making them look exactly how I wanted. Today was the best gel manicure of my life! I love this place for pedicures also, but decided to try a mani today because I didn’t need a pedicure. (Keep in mind I typically do my own gel nails so my expectations are very high.) My usual favorite had left for California, but I found a new gal today, very lovely. Mai (pronounced my) was so sweet and chatted with me cheerfully. She speaks perfect English and couldn’t have been nicer. This salon is total trash. I made an appointment with a friend at 2 pm and showed up early. We were not greeted until 20 mins later and they were not busy at this time. They told us to pick a color and kept asking what I wanted and pointing and laughing at us. They were pointing at my friend and holding their hands out doing the "she's so big" thing with their hands & making fun of her. Other people would come in and they would immediately seat them and get started on their nails, but we ended up waiting over 30 mins before leaving and being ignored. Super rude service. Read Less

Absolutely love Village! I live 45 minutes away and drive up to Village for Crystal. All of my friends make the trip, too. Crystal is phenomenal with nails. She's so creative! She's the one that makes all the samples up front and does the wonderful nail art. I've used two other techs when she wasn't there and they are great, too. Everyone is so personal. Crystal and I formed a relationship, and BeBe is always joking around with me. So clean, so lavish and just such a relaxing place. Definitely worth the drive and money. Read Less

My friend and I regularly get our nails done here. The service has been declining over the past few months. We had appointments for gel nails this week. When we arrived, the manager was the only one working who could apply gel nails. Instead of telling us they weren't prepared for us, they put a cheaper set of nails on us and told us they were the same thing. (Even though we questioned them while they were doing them!) We are very disappointed and will NOT be returning. (Last time I was here, the girl sanded my tips too far and painted them white instead of using the gel.) Read Less

I wanted my nails pretty dramatic and they give me that along with a nice person doing them! I absolutely LOVE this nail spa. I grew up in this area and I come to visit my parents often and when I come I make a point to get my nails done here. I usually go to Tony for SNS  (dip powder). I have gotten this done in NY, FL, and TX and I haven't had anyone come close the quality and natural look as I do when I come here. I wish I could take them with me lol. 5 stars!! Read Less

I've tried them several times. I feel like I'm being herded in and out. Manicures just average and pedicures are typical. Not at all a relaxing experience. The young man who appears to be in charge has never smiled and appears angry all the time. I've had to wait and wait even when I made an appt. I would not recommend this nail salon.  I believe I drew the short end of the stick and got a technician that was not good because my friends experience was slightly better.  I got an acrylic set and my nails are different lengths and shapes.  Along with that the guy doing my nails stopped work on my nails to use the nail clipper to cut off dead skin from a cut on his finger.  When I asked him to please sanitize them before using them on me again he just laughed at me and began to use those same clippers on me. I know a few estheticians that have always told me "if they dip the same stick they used to spread wax under your brows back in the pot from which it came, leave." And I literally watched this lady do just that to my bestfriend. If they do that to everyone imagine how much bacteria and people germs they are putting on your face! This is a friend of mine's go to in southern pines and I wish I could give a better review but unfortunately my experience was different. The place itself is lovely! They greeted us right away which was great, but had to wait only a few minutes. During that time one of us got service and I kindly asked what the difference was between "polish change and manicure" because every salon is different. Some salons give you a little more than simply changing your polish. Well, the man I asked laughed at me and said "it's just a polish change" in a facetious tone. I simply shut my mouthpiece and said okay. A few minutes later another gentleman came over and asked if I was receiving a gel manicure, and the two men proceeded to laugh at me again. I said yes, and he pointed me to a chair, talked with his buddy and continued laughing at me. At that point I was very annoyed and felt very disrespected so I said "I'm sorry, I don't understand why everyone is laughing at me. I'm the one paying you to do my nails, it would be nice not to be laughed at."  The rest of the appointment was bitter and very rushed. My nails look good, but respect goes a long way. Read Less

Good nails and nice pedicures. Hot stones always burn me but the foot message is great. My nails don't turn yellow in the top coat like other salons in the area.Update: I have changed my review from 5 to 3 stars bc I have stopped coming here for my nails and pedicure as of a couple months ago. I'm Vietnamese, so I can understand some of what they say.....and yes, they really do talk about people. My friend and I got laughs and things said about us bc we chose the $35 pedicure (basic is $25) rather than the super fancy ones that are more expensive. I get a specific type of nail and they had no clue what it was or how to do it, so everyone kept coming by that worked there to pick up my hands and inspect what I had done somewhere else. I wish I could give this place a better review, but we didn't have a great experience. My friend and I had an appointment for 2 manicures on Sunday at noon when they opened. We got there at probably 12:03 and there were already about 15 people there. We told 3 different people that we had an appointment but they continued to take others. One girl came over and asked, "Who's next?" obviously the check in sheet was superfilous.  At about 12:30 I was taken back to a seat and asked if my friend and I could sit next to each other. My friend was told to sit at the nail drying station and she was completely forgotten. They continued to take every person back that walked through the door and never came back to my friend. She was upset and decided she didn't want them to have her business anymore and left. Not the way you should treat customers, especially if they made the effort to make an appointment. I gave 2 stars because my manicurist was very nice and did a good job. Unfortunately, after 1 day my nails are already chipping. This is really a shame, because the actual salon is gorgeous! Other people left as well. I am not a snob and don't mind waiting, but the point is that I had an APPOINTMENT which was not honored. So I will not return. In from out of town and decided to check this place out. Got a gel manicure and a delux pedi. Good overall! Where I'm from they always serve wine so that was a little disappointing but I did get a water bottle. My nail tech was nice and did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. My only complaint was that my pedicure water was cold even after they tried warming it and my hot stone massage was definitely not worth the extra money. I'd come back. Read Less

The best nail salon in Pinehurst and Southern Pines hands down. My husband and I were eating lunch and the waitress overheard us talking about our tired "golf" feet. She told us that she just found this new nail salon and absolutely loved it. We made an appt right away and are currently getting the best hot stone reflexology treatment and pedi ever. The massage chairs are new and very comfortable, the staff is very friendly and the service provided is top notch 10 stars. We are buying gift certificates for several of our friends.
