Went to this nail salon with two of my friends because we were in the area. Walked in and were seated within 10 minutes getting worked on. We all chose the citrus pedicure, which was incredible. The technicians took their time and really made us feel relaxed and at home. My feet left looking and feeling great. We were all given water and trail mix while we had our toes worked on. Afterwards, a technician offered to thread my eyebrows the next time we came. She had time and did it right then. Pedicure itself wasn't bad. People were nice. I got the cucumber pedi which states everything that's comes with at says, ends with 20 min relaxing massage. Well I got 4 min of massage and when I asked about it they said the 20 minutes means the entire pedicure.... well if I knew that I would have bought the cheapest pedi and not spent 45$. These guys do beautiful nails. I get the pink and white solar nails and I always get compliments about them. People are always asking me where I get my nails done. The prices are great for the quality you get. This place is 45 minutes from where I live and although I could easily go somewhere close by, I would not dream going somewhere else. I made that mistake one time and then I had to come back here where they fixed the damage. They are awesome and the owner/operators are very nice and very honest people. Read Less

Owner/operator wife questioned what I wanted. Tips with gel overlay. I wound up with acrylic, clear gel polish was put over acrylic, with regular color polish over that. I asked for gel nails from the gate. Will not go back. First nail salon I've used since moving here. Go where you actually get what you want, and what you paying for. Read Less

Ray at My Nail Spa has been doing my nails for over three years. I have the pink and white gel and they always look perfect. They hold up well. I only have to get a fill in every three weeks. His wife, Colleen, also works there and has done my nails when Ray was unavailable. They both do excellent work. I get compliments on my nails all the time. the worst place to get your eyebrow wax done. stopped in about a week ago and they had this short lady with glasses do it. i think shes in her early 40's. the wax was still hot when she applied it. it felt like my skin was gonna come off with the wax after she pulled it. IT WAS Painful..!! i basically left with my brows looking the same like it was never done. Read Less

A gift certificate was purchased at this salon for a Christmas 2007 present to my mother. She misplaced it when she went to use it (it was in another pocketbook). She recently found it and called the My Nails II (Southern Pines, NC); she spoke with a man named "Steve" (who stated he was the manager). He asked her for the expiration date (?), which she told him was 6/6/08. "Steve the manager" told her that if it had been a "couple of weeks", she could have used the certificate ($50.00). I believe (as a frequent customer) that this "Steve the manager" could have been a little more "customer friendly" and allowed this senior citizen (84 years old) to use the certificate.I believe that business practices like this destroy customer loyalty.
