Called the day before and they were able to fit me in on short notice for a perm. My stylist was Tracy Woods and she did amazing job! Made my first visit to Karma Spa and Lounge today but it definitely will not be my last! From the time I stepped in the door the service was outstanding! This is a really fun full service salon. Have a coffee or cocktail while you wait or during your service! The decor is really cute and well thought out as well. Rude customer service. Wasn't too happy with my time here.  Just a hair cut for my long hair. The woman was late for my appointment (which she didn't apologize for), then seemed stuck up, rude the entire time. I don't know if I wasn't her typical client, or not what she expected for her apt, but she was quiet and kept her nose up at me the entire service. The only time she spoke much was 1) when other stylists were talking to me or 2) when I turned my head to see someone I knew (which she snapped at me for doing).The girls at the front had very little idea of what they were doing as well. I asked them about the products on the shelves, and they didn't know the answers or how much they were. The one I happened to have check me out, didn't know how a GC worked, or tips. I went with my daughter, her hairstylist was Jackie, she gave me the most horrendous customer service ever, I was trying to explain to her how I want my daughter's hair done and she ask me if "I want to cut her hair instead". She left her hair extremely short without any shape. I complained to the manager, however that is not gonna fix her hair before school starts. Waisted money and time. Unfortunately I was not able to even get service here. I booked weeks in advance because I wanted to treat my family coming in from out of town to a relaxing day. The lady I spoke to on the phone was so helpful and got our group booked for four pedicures, even thought we had five guests. She said our fifth person could get her nails done. When we arrived the reception kept asking who I booked with, which I didn't know. She took our information and sent us back to the lounge. ...The receptionist took one of my friends aside to whisper that she couldn't see one of us and to grab me. When I went to speak with her she said she didn't know who I booked with but there was no way to see us all. We decided to leave. We sat in the parking lot trying to find somewhere else to go and two women came outside to ask us why we were leaving. When I explained what the receptionist told us, they were shocked. They explained they could see us all and they didn't know why she would tell us that. They told us that the receptionist said she had no idea why we chose to leave. We decided not to go back inside. The. Best. Pedicure. Ever! The hostess greeted me by name as I ran into the door barely on time. I was offered a drink, so I chose the berry infusion. I drank two of them. I'd never been in a zero gravity chair before. It flips you way back so that your feet are elevated for the pedicurist to work on. Charlie is awesome. I had the on the rocks pedicure ( hotstones and aromatherapy)and he offered me a neck wrap which I galdly took because my neck was killing me. The atmosphere is great, as is the music. I purchased a $150 gift card for my sister-in-law on Friday, September 4, 2015.  It posted to my Capital One credit card on Saturday, September 5, 2015.  Today, On Saturday, May 14, 2016. She tried to use it.  First, they tried to pretend it never existed,  Then they said I bought it in October (An entire month AFTER her birthday).  So ultimately, they said they'd give her $115 instead of $150.Don't buy a gift certificate here.I would never use this salon and neither will my family.  Their customer service is atrocious.  The owner Angela is lying here, I left a message on Saturday and no one bothered to return it.  Plus. the had my sister-in-law's phone number.What was supposed to be a lovely gift for my sister-in-law turned into a demonstration of how NOT to perform guest recovery.Angela is refusing to issue a credit to my credit card and tried to get my sister-in-law to come back for $35 worth of services (Not likely).  So now, Angela wants my sister-in-law and me to sign a piece of paper so she can give us cash.Again,  Sloppy bookkeeping, worse guest recovery and the owner Angela is an arrogant jerk.So, here's the update.  I spoke with Angela on Tuesday, May 17th.  She admitted it was her mistake but she still refuses to refund the money.I know her type.  She's a big fish in a small pond and doesn't give a shit about customer service.  She's a thief, incompetent and steals money from gift cards.
