A couple of months ago I was diagnosed with a autoimmune disease which requires me to take a medication called prednisone. One of the drastic side effects is weight gain. My husband and I decided to decompress with a couple of pedicures. My first impression of the owner was that she seemed to be a little loud, but positive, kind and personable. As time progressed she told my husband that she would like to take me to Vietnam for a month and I would come back skinny. I was very shocked that she had the balls to say that to a stranger that she new absolutely nothing about. I refuse to get my nails done at this spa. This place is really awful. If you want to pay to be insulted, go here. Unless you want to get a $500 makeover, the owner (I assume) will ask you if you are cheap. The employees are very nice, but the owner is catty and her husband (?) hangs over her as she does your nails. My friend was told she was mean because she didn't have kids. Where to begin? Connie was somewhat pleasant. Her service was terrible. I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel color. She charged me $40(way over priced)! The only reason I went to this salon is because every where else was too busy. Big mistake! My fingers are very sore.. and she didn't even paint the whole nails. It looks as if I need a fill in already. They are super short, she asked me how long I wanted them.... I guess she messed one up and kept filing and filing until they barely even cover my finger! First and last shop said open at 930 didnt open til after ten. Pedicure was not good , he tried was nice didn't fuss . But the yunger ppl the one who does nails and the other gentleman attitude was so in professional!! Yunger talked to a customer rudely and just nasty. Also the nails he was doing the customer was not happy left mad, V has a bad attitude believe that, I asked could she do them , I refused the older gentleman but that's my right I'm paying for it, she talking all rude . I don't care what u say it's a way to talk to your customers, these ppl don't smile or nothing attitudes the whole time I was there. To each it own , will not go there again!! Read Less

Received a gift certificate for a pedicure from here back in May and decided to finally use it bc I did not have time to go to my usual spot, Queen Nails, in Raleigh NC, what a bad idea...where do I begin? First I was greeted by Connie, the owner, with a frown as she examined my attire and all but pointed me in the direction of a man, who I later learn was/ is her husband. Oh about the pedicure, wish I could tell you something BUT considering  that all I did was  sit my feet in WARM water for 10 minutes,  had my toe nails shaped and the bottom of my feet BRUSHED lightly with a dingy sponge, I really can't tell you if this is the TRUE Love Nails pedicure experience or the experience one receives if they have a gift certificate thats nearly 4 months old. Either way, I would NOT recommend this place to anyone who has had a REAL spa pedicure anywhere in America. The certificate was valued at 26$ but I promise you the treatment I received was worth a mere 10$ and that's because their polish was used.I gave them 2 stars bc I did get gel polish on my fingers and the polish matches my toes and even comes as a combination in a box ( I'm assuming its for ppl like me who like gel polish on their fingers and regular polish in the exact color on their toes) and I haven't seen any other spa with that brand. My gel polish is still on with no chips or smudges and its been 2 weeks so they may actually be the place to go for gel polish.Did I mention the polish on my toes smeared before I left the salon and the male tech simply put a little acetone on it and went over it with the polish again?The salon was clean, location was ok,  and there was/is even a pretty good Mexican Restaurant on the strip.Bottom line, Love Nails is NOT the place for a pedicure and if you are anything like I am about your fingers and toes, beware! I loved this place! Nails Time II messed up my feet so bad with their pedicures and messed up my eyebrows when they waxed them. Took off over half of my brow. :( They are affordable and are very nice.Read Less
