I FINALLY was able to make some time in my schedule to get down to Spruce. Unfortunately appointments fill up fast so you definitely want to book out at least a few days in advance. I was only able to book an appointment for a "quickie manicure" and honestly was expecting a really rushed job. However that wasn't what I experienced. Lindsay was super friendly and talkative, which is a nice change to my typical experience at other nail salons, and took her time. Another client booked with her arrived so the manager took over to finish my appointment. She was very thorough with my nail care, and even though I just got a basic manicure, it looks fantastic! My family friend, Jessica, had an appointment here on 11/30/17. The day of her appointment, her grandmother unexpectedly passed away and she had to travel to Dayton, OH to be with family. As if that wasn’t enough for her to emotionally deal with, Spruce REFUSED to be sympathetic and accommodate her. They still charged her card for the service that she didn’t receive! No refund offered and no chance to reschedule. What kind of insensitive company doesn’t offer sympathy and und...erstanding towards the death of a family member? This company is greedy and obviously is not in the business of repeat customers if this is how they intend to continue their business practices. What a shame. I hope the owners of this company never experience the loss of family member and the “inconvenience” that it causes, because obviously they don’t have the emotional capacity to understand grief and basic human empathy. This is THE best place in Cincinnati to get your nails done! Love the atmosphere, and the Eco-Friendly, and Cruelty Free products. It was such a delight today to get pampered at Spruce. I treated myself to a manicure for my 30th birthday (I NEVER get manicures so this was a very special occurrence) and I really enjoyed Spruce! Everyone was very nice and engaging. The products they used were so pleasant and even almost a week later, my nails look pretty darn good. So, I'm officially changing my stance on manicures... I love Spruce Nail Shop! A couple weeks ago I experienced a problem with my polish and they not only offered to fix it once... but twice! All the ladies that work here are the absolute sweetest and you can tell that each of them want you to leave feeling good about yourself. I love that every time I go in they ask about my husband too. One of the best beauty experiences I have had in a long time. We were greeted with a very friendly intentions and made to feel instantly at home. My mother has various allergies to certain smells and ingredients and the owner and nail staff member took great care in making sure she knew what ingredients were in the products and making sure she was comfortable throughout the entire service.
