So I went in to see Olivia and I was super nervous, I was going from dark to light so that meant bleach 😬 she did an AMAZING job (I mean the pictures speak for themselves) she went the extra mile as it had to be foiled twice. Been Jernille Ballentine client for about 2 or 3 years now she's amazing stylist. I can walk into Posh Salon hair looking hot mess with extremely tangled hair and she can work a miracle with my hair. Decided to go pretty short with my hair, something I've only done twice in my life (one of which was against my will as I was 6 and I still hate that haircut) but this haircut is great! Mark is just fantastic - takes his time to learn his clients, sets them at ease, and really cares about his work. After getting my worst cut ever from one of the top, hip and well-rated barbershops in the area, I got my best cut ever from Mark. I was completely thrilled with my experience. The atmosphere of the whole salon was warm and friendly- that of a place of gathered friends. Mark Anthony did an amazing job with my hair. He was patient with my vague ideas and helped curate my thoughts into the best style for me. I started coming to Posh Salon 104 about a year ago. I chose Mindy as my stylist and i couldn't be happier! She has transformed my hair many times.  She always understands my vision and goes above and beyond! I have had many different colors in my hair and each time I go I try something new. Mindy loves to have fun with hair. You can tell it is her life long passion. I went in a few months ago after giving birth to my 3rd daughter and Mindy truly made me feel beautiful afterwards. I had been feeling down about myself post partum and she brought life back to me I feel like. She made me feel like a new woman!  Which I needed! I hate to write this, but I feel it needs to be said as I came to this salon based on extremely positive reviews and left really disappointed. Audrey cut my hair, and although she was pleasant to speak to, I really don't feel like she listened to what I wanted. I told her I was growing out my hair, as I have a wedding in 6 months and to just clean up my ends, and work with the long layers that were in my hair. I'm not a hairdresser, and after the cut I realized I should have mentioned that my hair was cut with point cuts. Though, in my defense, if you are a first time client - I would hope that the hairdresser "checks out" your hair to see how it is cut, and what you're used to. Audrey did not do this. In fact, the whole time she seemed rather rushed and out of it. When it even came time to blow dry my hair, she was very rough and used a round brush on tangled sections of my hair... ouch. I was really disappointed when I saw how much she took off the length (over an inch), how blunt she made the cuts, and (the worst part that is still making me tear up) how much she cut off the front of my hair... I never asked for extremely blunt cut face framing layers. (My hair is thick and wavy - in what world does this work?) These layers go about 4 inches above my hair length all the way to my ear, and its not symmetrical at all with both sides. I saw my parents this weekend and even they agreed it was a terrible cut. I don't know if it was just a miscommunication, or if this is how Audrey is used to cutting hair. However, I did not leave the chair happy - and when she asked to "fix the cut" what could I say? She had already taken so much off and given me the complete opposite of what I wanted. Now, I am left with trying to grow out my hair as much as possible before my wedding, and to fix these awful layers she put into my hair. I really have nothing positive to say about the cut. Kristen is the bomb dot com. Lol The salon itself is beautiful. Each station has everything the stylist needs to make you look amazing. No hiking to the back of the salon for a wash. Kristen Shelton had been my stylist before she went to Posh so the choice to go there was an easy one for me. She always takes her time. Not only is she an excellent colorist but a superb stylist as well. My hair is THICK and she is the first in years to be able to tame my mane. She cuts my husba...nds short thin hair as well and even with him she spends a substantial amount of time on making sure he heads out looking his best. I have referred friends, neighbors, co-workers and even strangers. All of which have reported back how much they loved her. To sum it all up her talent is amazing, personality stellar, customer service, well....lets just say you will feel as if you are an honored guest in her home. Krystal was great with me. It was my first appointment and she was very nice, friendly and understanding with what I wanted to have done on my hair. I love the fact that the facility has separated spaces for each client which makes your experience more private. For appointments you contact each stylist directly through the phone or e-mail. I've been looking for a hairstylist since August because my old hairstylist moved to FL. Most women know, this is not fun and sometimes difficult.  I have found Kristen!! I called last week to set up an appointment for a consultation and got an appointment to talk about cut & color. I met with Mark Anthony and it went really well. We went over prices and what would be best/what I was looking for. Originally, I wanted to go kind of drastic, but the fact that my hair was damaged and i'm low-maintenance kind of makes that difficult. We wrapped up and he scheduled me for today (Monday 24th) at Noon. I got in about 5 minutes early and walked right to his booth. One of the great things about this salon is that you stay in the booth for wash, cut, and color which I love. You aren't sitting with 5 other people, waiting, or shlumping around the salon from chair to chair. I had one person in one booth the entire time so you're not being passed off from person to person. We started talking color and i'm not really up and up with hair terms, but I knew the look I wanted so I showed him some cute pics from Pinterest of pretty brown hair that I loved and he made it happen. He did the color, did the wash, then the cut. My hair was a little scary and not healthy feeling when I went in. I should have taken a before with it down, but it wasn't great. I feel confident that I will come back and get a cut from this place because my hair looks and feels 10x better than when I went in. Yes, it costs more than the $7 haircut I got a few weeks ago, but there's a reason it was $7. It's also cheaper and puts out better work than some people downtime. I was really hesitant to have anything done to my hair, but now i'm really happy about it. My hair is on the thick and curly/wavy side so I needed an extra color bottle thingy so my total was $100 for cut, wash, and color which I think is amazing for how it came out. I have been going to Becky Daughtry for more years then I can remember.  I have followed her from one salon to another because she does such a beautiful job with my nails.  Recently she started using a product called SNS on my nails.  If you haven't tried it you owe it to yourself to go see Becky.  This new product goes on thinner and is much stronger.  It gives your nails a much more natural look.  Her finished product is absolutely gorgeous!!!  I would not consider going anywhere else. Kristen is my hero. Speaking from the experience of at least a half dozen traumatic haircuts and at least one botched color job under my belt, I can say that I'm incredibly leery of having to find a new salon but my premature greys made putting this off any longer an impossibility. I'm not telling this story to encourage this approach, but I'll say I was impressed with how easily they were able to fit me in on such short notice (again, greys...). I emailed them on a Tuesday and asked for a Saturday appointment and was able to get in, even with 2 wedding updo appointments going on that day before me. I love that each individual stylist's station is completely self-sufficient. In other words, there aren't stations for each part of the process, each stylist has an area that has a sink, cutting hair and drying chair and they each take your payment themselves. Kristen came recommended by a friend of mine (with great hair), and I will absolutely be going back to see her. Not only did she do a fantastic job on my hair, she was incredibly pleasant and her prices are incredibly reasonable. Kristen took me in on a walk-in for a quick bang trim. Not only did she do them PERFECTLY, but she was so much fun to be around and talk to! She really took the time and paid attention to exactly what I wanted (I am a bit picky about my bangs.. haha). Great energy and talent! The atmosphere is a little quirky compared to what I go used to in Atlanta; each stylist acts as her own receptionist and has her own cubicle work space with a sink, chair, and mirror. A guy even came in selling fresh fruits to anyone who wanted them (apparently this happens frequently).Kristen is an awesome stylist. I have been dying my hair from blonde to red for the past five years or so and she did a fabulous job on the color. She is a Redken expert and really knows what she is doing. I have been going to Audrie for several years and find her to be the kindest and most even-tempered stylist I know. She's also fast and always looking for ways to save her clients time without sacrificing quality. The Salon is beautiful and calming as well as very conveniently located, right at the corner of Whitaker Mill Road and Atlantic Avenue, and it's very easy to park. There are several other shops in the same center that would be fun to visit if I had time! I love that the stylists have their own cubicles. It's easy to make an appt. by phone or by email, and Audrie always sends appt. reminders. There is a great magazine selection, a good product selection, and Audrie, despite having a full complement of clients, is really nice about working me in when I have a last minute hair emergency. Becky Daughtry is also very nice and does excellent nails, including nail design. Pricing is very reasonable. Jaclyn is hands down, THE BEST hair stylist I've ever had. I have never had a hair stylist actually listen to me and do what I asked. She knows her stuff when it comes to what would look best on people. What a NIGHTMARE, seven months of starring at my fried nasty orange hair in the mirror I must warn u of jacyIn emery I regret the day I let her color and cut my hair. I showed her a picture of blonde and she turned my hair orange it's very fried still after almost a year I've had several people try to fix this mess and now I look like a calico cat. I made an appointment with Jaclyn after being recommended by a good friend of mine, however I'm really picky about my hair (as most blondes are!!) and was skeptical of trying someone new after the last stylist at a different salon butchered my hair. But i looked posh salon 104 up on citysearch and google and read a lot of great reviews about her and when I went in Jaclyn really helped me pick out the blonde tones that would work well with my skin and we did highlights and color all over in between and the color came out fantastic!! Unfortunately, I cannot make everyone happy as hard as I may try. I always try to save customers as much money as possible because it isn't always necessary to do highlights each visit or a full haircut each time if you are trying to grow your hair or restore previously damaged hair from another stylist. There are rules and guidelines you must follow to get the best end result and only an experienced stylist would say ""no"" to taking a client's money and damaging hair further. I only want to produce beautiful, shiny, silky hair and not compromise the integrity of the hair. I read several positive reviews regarding Andrea and decided to make an appointment for highlights and a cut. The first appointment was an wonderful experience. She gave me a very nice cut and beautiful highlights. For my second appointment I scheduled only a cut. When I arrived at the salon, she informed me that I would get my roots colored and a cut. My third appointment was for highlights and a cut. Again when I arrived for my appointment, she told me that she had me down for a trim. After two negative experiences, I will not return. Read Less

I have been a client of Andrea Love's for many years. She always does such a wonderful job everytime, everytime i leave thinking wow this is better than i imiagined it to be... All i do is describe what I want and some how she makes my wish come true. I always get all over color highlights and a haircut. She recently started doing the keratin smoothing treatment and even though it was expensive($300) I saved up for it bc she reccomended it for my thick frizzy unmanageable hair. I have never loved my hair more... it is sleek smooth and shiny, the texture feels amazing its not like my hair at all!!! I only have to blow dry my hair and it looks so great I am used to spending almost an hour blow dring and flat ironing but bye bye flat iron. I HIGHLY HIGHLY reccomend Andrea Read Less
