I started going to LCN Nail Spa when I first moved to Raleigh as it was conveniently located 3 minutes from my home. At first my visits were great but as I became a regular here the work became sloppy. Once while I was getting my nails done a sweet young lady was sitting beside me also getting a manicure and gave the owners her card and info stating she was interested in employment because she had recently became a nail tech. I got a gel manicure on Monday and by Friday the 5 of my nails chipped. I went back and got them fixed. After getting my nails fixed within a week 2 of my nails gel polish were chipped all the way off. I am really disappointed since this place was highly recommended by a friend. Read Less

I went to LCN for my first time today. It was very hygienic and had a nice atmosphere! The girl who did my polish change did an amazing job! The polish is perfectly approximated to my cuticles without painting on them. Will definitely go back. My only complaint is the prices aren't listed so I was unsure how much it would cost until I paid. The gel polish change on my fingernails was $23. Read Less

This place is pretty good. I got a mani and pedi with gel. It looks nice and has been lasting well but I'm not sure how the prices compare. Also, the woman serving me was nice enough. It seemed distracted. Not really engaged in me or what she was doing at all. I had a couple bubbles on my nails and small things I didn't like. It seems like they may be understaffed much of the time. I didn't have to wait but I heard them tell people to come back in an hour to a couple other walk ins. Being new to the area I decided to give this shop a try. My first visit was wonderful. They did a great job and the gel polish lasted like iron. Second d visit - the tech did a decent job but the gel polish was peeling within a week. Third visit - same tech as first visit. Did a good job on the acrylic fill and applied a bright gel polish for the holidays. Sadly within 4 days the polish is already peeling again. I am looking for another salon. For the price I'm paying I am not getting my money's worth. Sadly. I am hoping that the folks at LCN can get a better supply of polishes or perhaps refine their technique. This salon is decorated very beautifully. I was greeted outside by the owner and he immediately assessed my needs. I loved how caring and sweet my technician was. We shared great conversation and she took care of me the whole time I was there instead of passing me off to someone else. Very relaxing and clean atmosphere. I was visiting my son and his family from New Hampshire when one finger of my gel manicure began to peel away.  My daughter-in-law recommended that I try her nail salon for a repair.  So glad I did!  The technician was very thorough -- matching an unusual color, filing a few shaggy ends, and retouching my entire manicure with a gel top coat so that I could make it through until I got home.  Too bad that this salon is 15 hours from home, or I would make this salon my new go-to place to be pampered.  Thanks to the staff for all their help! I come to LCN Nail Spa every two weeks for my nail care. This time I got a pedicure #2. It's about 45 mins, includes 13 mins for massage. And I was very satisfied with the price, only $ 37. I aslo love the atmosphere here, clean and relaxing, it does'nt have bad smell like other salons. Another plus is that the waiting time is short and they don't ignore you! Will come back for sure! I used to visit this nail salon since it opened but since my recent experience with this salon I will no longer be visiting and taking my money elsewhere. I made a call on Friday 2/19/16 at 10 am a little after they opened to make an appointment for a friend and I to get gel fill-ins which on their brochures said $25. Once we got there at 5 pm all the employees looked at us funny like "why are you here?" and apparently no one wrote my name down for 5pm. We waited for 30-40 minutes and was finally helped. The reason why I gave them two stars and not one is because they do a great job on your nails. But as it seems lately they seem to be in a rush to finish and are rude. As I went up to pay we were both charged $35 with a $5 discount for being students in the area which means we both were charged for a full new set of gel builder nails when with the student discount should have been $20. We were both still charged $35 each even when my friend spoke up about the price difference. I am very disappointed with the customer service from this nail salon. Read Less

Great experience overall. As someone who has gotten a lot of pedicures over the years in DC, NYC, and Raleigh, this is one of my favorites so far.Cleanliness: As a brand new shop this is easily one of, if not THE, cleanest nail salons I have ever been to.Service: everyone was extremely friendly. I did not have to wait (although I went mid-day during the week). Also, great wi-fi to entertain yourself and the massage chairs worked well.Quality: great pedicure.  High quality polish and base/ top coat used.  A week later and it still looks brand new.  I also appreciated the long soak, relaxing foot massage, and moisturizer used on my legs (and it was just the basic pedicure). It did take a while, but I'm sure if I had said I was in a hurry they would have sped things up.Price: at $27 + tip this is on par with the prices I've seen in Raleigh.  The prices are listed on a card describing each service and so it would be difficult to misunderstand.Highly recommended! So this place had such a bad rating that I had to go myself and see.  Since Jennyfer thinks you can get your eye "browns" waxed, I had a hard time believing that it was a real review.  I walked in noticed that the place is clean and nice looking inside.  I said I wanted a manicure and picked a polish and was seated.  They bought me a card which had the different manicures with prices AND times.  So if you dont have an hour to spend there you wont pick the hour long manicure.  I chose a 45 minute manicure and was very happy with the results.  My 45 min manicure lasted about 50 minutes and I left with soft skin and pretty toes.  You can also add a massage to your pedicure and I asked about it and was given the price.  I didn't go for it today, but I definitely will go for it the next time I am there.  Their prices were in line with everyone else's around.  They had plenty of manicures just below and just above the $40 dollar mark, so I would not call them expensive.  I would definitely go back. Went in for mani-pedi.  Told no problem, can do in the time frame I had.  Didn't start mani for 45 minutes, and just trimmed nails.  Said come back tomorrow, but charged me the full amount.  Said if I didn't come back the following day, I'd have to pay full amount again.  Wasn't able to. Paid for full manicure, and she only trimmed and filed my nails.  Bad customer service. No effort to work with my schedule. Really bad pedicure, even though I paid for the top level on their menu. I don't think that man ever did a pedicure ever before.  Nothing relaxing or pleasant about it, even though I paid the top amount for it.
