I decided to give this place a try today while on vacation. My pedicure was standard. No frills, bells or whistles but my toes look nice. Unfortunately, I'm heading out with extremely sloppy looking shelac on my fingers. My acrylic overlay was done well and the shape is awesome but this polish.... Yikes! My curing time was too short and the application was heavy. While my technician was beginning my top coat I could see color on the tip of the brush. I have polish pooled in my cuticle area. Upon my first visit here, I was greeted immediately & taken for a gel manicure without an appointment! Joe, my manicurist, told me the price & added the extra charge for repairing a nail I thought I would’ve had to cut short. I gladly accepted the charge & he did an excellent job with the manicure! I decided to try this nail salon because it was the closest to my beach house. I had already had a full set of sns nails on but broke two off the day before while at the beach. The lady who did my nails was extremely rough and even slapped my hand. I had asked for white powder being that all my other nails were white. The two nails she applied were bumpy and even and turned tan the next day. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone Read Less

Our family and friends come to Ocean Isle beach for vacation every year. The ladies have a standing  date for getting pedi's. This was my first year to be able to join in the fun. We were greeted immediately upon arrival. We were treated as though we were visiting old friends. It was very comfortable atmosphere. The lady who did my pedi was AMAZING!! She was so friendly as was her husband who was doing another one of our bunch next to me. We were joking around with him about buying her diamonds.... we were treated as we were old friends. The nice lady  (I have forgotten her name.) put ladybug design on my big toe as a present for my birthday with no extra charge. We were all very pleased with our pedi's. They were wonderful!! The orange sugar scrub left my feet and legs so soft, and the hot towels were AWESOME!! Soothed old age aches right out. My nails were trimmed and filed perfectly. The polish and design were flawless. I wish I could rate them a 10. We will continue our ladies day at Happy Nails next year and any further years we can make the trip!! Prices are great for their deluxe pedi's, cheaper than the small town I live in, in Ohio. Definitely give them a try if you are in the area of OCEAN ISLE BEACH. A fabulous outing!! Read Less

We had a wonderful experience of one regular and one deluxe pedicure. The staff was very friendly and everything that he is on our feet was wonderful including a refreshing cool man mask. If I could give this place a negative review I would, In fact I would shut it down! I went to get a nail fixed by Jenny and she put the acrylic on extremely crooked I asked her to take it off and she said my finger was crooked and she would not fix it that I had to find another location to go to. She was extremely rude very nasty and would not let anybody else in her location do my nail!! It was an Angelah Johnson moment! If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. By far the worst service, treatment and manicure I've ever had in my life. I told the owner that I was unhappy, even showed him why. He said he would not refund my money. I ended up going home and taking my polish off and painting my nails myself. What a waste of $45!! Read Less

While the mani and pedi were are great price, the service was not great. When I arrived home from vacation, they charged my $40 more than my total. They said it had never happened before and it must have been a typo but there is no way they mixed up the numbers they were supposed to enter into the credit card machine and the numbers they did enter. So this place is good if you want inexpensive, don't mind rude service, and pay in cash! Read Less
