PLEASE READ: Fantasy Nail salon used to a great place, now however, I wouldn't even call it a salon. I went in with my mother and grandmother. We were greeted with the horrific smell of chemicals due to no ventilation. The fumes just about smack you in the face. We were then greeted by a man working on another client who shouted us, asking us what we wanted. I got a $18 acrylic fill in with normal polish, my mother got a deluxe pedicure for $46 and my grandmother got a $15 manicure. After waiting for 30 minutes they finally got to me. My poor grandma waited another 20 minutes. The man was so harsh with my nail beds I began to bleed. The tool he used carved into my skin so hard I'd yelp. My grandmother's manicure was fine other than the fact that she asked for a rounded nail and the lady gave her a square like, almost boxy nail. My mothers pedicure was said to be unsanitary and kind of gross. She said the man used so many produces on her legs that she couldn't see her feet under the milky water. Looking around at the shop you notice many things: 6 security cameras, dirt and lint, chipping tile, warn out chairs, unorganized products, poorly kept working areas and over used outlets. One of the massage chairs were being used as a storage space. As my nails were drying the man kicked me out of the chair for another client to use the light when there are lights at all the stations for nail setting. He said it will be fine and boxed me out of the way. Will not be going again.

If you're looking to get acrylics done this is not the place. Went here on vacation to get a full set done and they told us the lady who did them was not in today. We said okay we'll get pedicures and they couldn't get the 2 of us in at the same time. Very annoying.

If I could give less stars I would. The massage chairs didn't work. We paid for a Deluxe 45 minute pedicure package which included a foot and leg massage. Neither my friend or I got a massage and we were both done in 30 minutes! Her nail polish was clumpy, and chipped off in less than a week The guy who did her pedicure left abruptly and never came back. Rude! We will never go back!!!

Love Fantasy Nails.....I've been having pedicures done there for the last 4 years. Salon is clean, the staff is very professional and always accommodating. They make you feel like you are part of the family. I will not go to any other place. When my granddaughter comes down in the summer we go for mani-pedi appointments together.

8/30/2014Horrible pedicure. What was I thinking to pay extra for deluxe pedicure. Don't do it not worth it at all. Better yet, go somewhere else. My nails were trimmed too short and a few have jagged edges. She did not even ask me if I wanted them trimmed. While she was trimming nails....totally jabbed me and poked my nail bed so hard I pulled my foot away. It was hard enough to bleed. I brought a brand new bottle of polish with me. The quality of her polish technique was so poor I requested her to remove and start over. Will never go back.

If I could give less stars I would. The massage chairs didn't work. We paid for a Deluxe 45 minute pedicure package which included a foot and leg massage. Neither my friend or I got a massage and we were both done in 30 minutes! Fantasy Nails in Ocean Isle Beach is the BEST nail salon by far!Great customer service and great pedicures!I travel from Holden Beach just to get a pedicure here!I would recommend this nail salon to anyone!The salon is clean and tidy and has a very relaxing feel. It is family owned and the family who owns the business make you feel welcome as if your part of their family!
