By far the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. What little service I did receive was just plain rude, but they were mostly too busy ignoring me even for that. I went in with a longer stiletto full set looking for a fill, the tech cut them so short I had to replace the whole set. When I asked for my pedicure first they soaked both of my hands in acetone for so long my skin began to peel off all over my fingers and hands. They left my legs wrapped in wet towels so long they became cold and slimey and then massaged me with a cold rock. The set itself looked horrible and I had to buy a file to reshape them once home. I went there yesterday to get my feet done. I asked for the regular spa...$28. It started off fine but the older lady doing my nails was so busy talking to her friend she cut me. As she couldnt stop the bleeding she blamed it on a cuticle cut she asked me was I a diabetic. I said yes. I'm 9 months pregnant and I have gestational diabetes. Her and her friend proceed to try to stop the bleeding but putting nail glue on my toe as a bandaid. Came here on a Friday with a Bridal Party (had reservations) - they really push the gel mani/pedis - which I get - more money, that's fine. But, at least do a good job! Two of my nails (it's now the Wednesday after) have already peeled off from my "gel" manicure. They have a poster showing that 14 days later, your nails still look perfect - except, they don't. She also didn't paint my full nail down to the cuticle, which really annoys me, so it "grows out" faster. Just a cheap way of doing business, don't care for it. I've have been coming here for the past 2 years I lived in Charleston. Everything up until today has been great. Less then a week ago I came in for a fill in with gel polish, towards the end it got busy so the guy rushed to finish them, leaving them not looking so great. WORST nail experience ever. Came for a bridal party, booked days in advance and they acted like they did not even know we were coming. Got my toes done first, the entire pedicure lasted not even 10 minutes, she didn't paint my entire toes and within an hour of leaving the salon the polish was chipped. For the manicure, I told her I just wanted gel polish and showed her a picture of what I wanted. She kept telling me how bad it would look with my natural nails because my fingers were small (quite rude) so finally I got tired of arguing with her and just got acrylic which was an even worse mistake. They are crooked, you can see the glue on them, she screwed up my cuticles, when I asked her to file town the sharp edges she got an attitude. The whole experience was terrible. Not to mention, I showed her a picture when I walked in of the design I wanted and she said she could do it (ombre). She painted my nails a single color then when I asked if she was going to finish, said she couldn't do ombre. It was not a good experience for us at all. Some of the pedicures were rushed and lacking the essentials like filing/foot scrubbing. I was first to sit for my pedicure and one of the last to be finished while my sister's lasted about 10 minutes. My other sister paid for a gel manicure but received only a nail soak and the gel--no filing/lotion, etc. while we were there two separate groups came in to complain that the pedicures they'd received the day before were all chipped a...nd messed up. Horrible experience. I got a gel manicure, which consisted of soaking my nails and putting the polish on. She didn't file my nails, trim my cuticles, no lotion or hand massage. My nails have streaks. Terrible. Consider my review and do not go. Requested a mani pedi today and waited forever just to share 2 different women who did not take the time to do anything. 10 second scrub 60 second massage (only on my legs, none on my hands) and poorly applied nail polish. Not only was the service and skill poor but they were unsanitary! I watched them dump the water bowl from the girl beside me and fill it up for me to soak in...no sanitation for their tools, not even when they drew blood from being so aggressive and rushed on cuticles. They did give a good massage for the deluxe package.. they only gave me two packages to choose from, one being deluxe and the other one was a super deluxe. the massage was good but being shooed out the door not even a minute after they were finished was rude in my opinion. Hands down the worst pedicure ever. The polish is all over my skin on some toes and on others, not even on half the nail. I thought it looked okay at first but the closer I got the more I noticed the terrible job. And as I was moved from the chair to the drying station they lead another woman to the chair I had just sat in with the same equipment they had uses for my toes and began working on her. Absolute WORST pedicure I have EVER received. Does NOT deserve even a single star. My first nail technician pulled out a clearly used and dirty nail file, proceeded to cut the skin just under my big toe with said nail file to the point of drawing blood, didn't even bother to acknowledge that she had cut me, couldn't understand me when I asked questions...then I switch to another technician who sprayed alcohol in my still bleeding cut without warning, then switched to another who began painting my nails the wrong color, then couldn't  open the bottle of polish I HAD picked out, had me pick another color completely, and then proceeded to quickly and sloppily paint my toe nails using one coat, no overcoat, and got nail polish in the cut left by the previous technician. All of this was after a thirty to thirty five minute wait in which my feet were soaking and turning to prunes. I will absolutely NEVER return. The whole experience was so awful I actually feel that I may need to see a podiatrist to be sure I didn't wind up with any infections. Totally unprofessional horrendous experience. This nail salon was the worst salon I have ever been to! I went to get a mani and pedi during a rainy day on vacation and left there extremely angry.  To begin with, the male owner doing my pedicure rushed through the first part of my pedicure, didn't wear gloves, and didn't sanitize any of his equipment before using it on me.  Half way through my pedicure he leaves and says "give me one second".  After waiting for 20+ minutes with half of my pedicure done, the woman doing my mother's pedicure finished mine.  The pedicure was extremely under whelming seeing as we paid extra for a "deluxe package" and barely got a basic pedicure.  Moving on to the manicure, the lady doing mine was average.  I don't hate my nails but they're not the best whatsoever.  She also didn't sanitize her nail equipment which started it off poorly.    My mother was getting her manicure done beside me and the male owner (mentioned above) was doing hers.  She voiced her dissatisfaction with the service mid-way through her manicure and his only response was "I've been doing this 15 years".  For the rest of the manicure, she simply sucked it up and just said "it's fine".  After her manicure was done, she asked what I thought of it and I was brutally honest and told her as well as the owner that it was the worst manicure I've ever seen.  It was sloppy, rough and sticky; definitely not worth what we paid.  After we said it looked bad and wasn't what she wanted, he continued to say "I've been doing this for 15 years" and started screaming at my mother.  He then offered a $20 gift card after this encounter, in which we responded by saying we would never come back ever again! Went to Elite nails while on vacation July 25, 2015. Staff was rude (except for girl taking my money!!!). Pedicure lasted less than two weeks. They weren't busy but were still understaffed. This place doesnt even deserve the one star...Be prepared for the worst experience at a nail salon... ever!The gruesome details are far too numerous for this review, nor do I wish to further aggravate myself. Sufice it to say, I should have Yelped Elite Nails prior to making the appointment for a ManiPed, and I should have followed my instincts to leave when we arrived for the 9:30am appointment and the shop was manned by only one guy wearing two bluetooth headsets. My friend had to wait about 15 min for another employee to show up... a third employee straggled in about 15 min thereafter and there walk-ins waiting with no one to service them.The apparent pack leader laughed when I pulled away as he used the coarser file on my toes and it ripped into the skin. The morning proceeded from a horrible pedi onto an even worse manicure that concluded with polish that was bubbling and disfigured because "headset" did not fully remove the old polish. The only finger to turn out well was the one I made him do over three times because I could see big bumps in the polish as he kept adding more & more coats rather than getting to the base of the problem. This photo (Tips) is about 15 min after the completion of the manicure... the biggest insult: I was charged $5 to soak my nails for 5 minutes in a bowl full of polish remover and he didnt bother to fully scrape the reminents off before proceeding. The guy taking my money ignored my  comment when I pointed this out to him... and when I asked if that was approperate he pointed to "headset" and said to take it up with him. We should have consulted Yelp before coming here.  I wouldn't say that it was the worst mani/pedi experience I've ever had, but nowhere near the best either.  We called ahead, thinking we were making an appointment, only to find out that when we arrived we were going to wait.  No worries, since we got extra soaking time in the massage chair.  We asked about the prices and the girl only proposed a $40 pedicure and a $55 pedicure, so we opted for the "cheaper" pedicure.  We came to a point in the pedicure where my legs were wrapped with hot towels and covered in pink trash bags.  Then I was shocked that my girl then proceeds to start from scratch on another person.  So I sat there with bags on my legs for a good 20 minutes, until she was done with the other girl.  Meanwhile people just keep on coming in and they don't make anyone wait, they put them in massage chair to soak.  When my pedi is done they move me to a manicure station, and 5 minutes later I look back and my girl is doing ANOTHER pedicure.  This is when I get upset and say something.  I've been getting pedi's and mani's for 15+ years and I've never had someone take another person while doing me at the same time.  What happened to first come, first serve?    Worst part?  As we were checking out, we found out that they offer a $25 pedicure, but we never got that option.  So not only were they rude, but also deceitful.   If you are feeling desperate and decide to go to this place, be sure to block out 5 hours in your schedule! Had an awful experience here. Stopped in to get a quick shellac, was told it was $30, upon looking at the menu saw it was $20 so she said okay $20 and acted like I was inconveniencing her by coming in.  The whole place was empty.  She started taking my previous polish off, leaves it around all of my nails and starts opening a shellac bottle. I asked her to please get the polish off my nails so she files it off to the point that my fingers are hurting.  Not saying a word to me the entire time it's going on.So she paints them and I try to subtly look at them and they seem fine.  She finishes, wipes them, and I look down to see polish remaining all over my fingers surrounding my nails.  At this point I decide I'll just try to fix it at home with clippers.I paid with a bigger bill which she held up to the light a few times which weirded me out.  They didn't give me small enough change so I gave a bill back.  I put money to the side and as I was putting the rest in my wallet, the woman grabbed the money from the counter, said thank you, and walked away.  It was the weirdest experience ever. Terrible...don't go to this place! I took my two kids there for pedicures. The under 10 kid price was $20...pretty expensive but it was a treat. They were done in 15 mins. They didn't soak their feet, didn't scrub their feet, used no base coat, only put on one coat of polish and a topcoat. I don't think they treated the adults this way because a lady who was there before the kids was still there when mine were done. My kids even knew it was horrible. She saw me wince (obviously it hurt and was stinging), to which she shrugged her shoulders and gave an insincere apology. I wanted to get up and leave but stayed since I was with a wedding party. The rest of my pedicure went ok but she hardly filed or shaped my nails for my manicure (perhaps because she saw that I didn't tip her well when I signed my credit card receipt). My nail polish is wavy, not smooth, and she smudged some of the corners when she was digging out the extra nail polish from the edges of my nails. Every time I look at my nails it just makes me angry. And I'm super worried about getting a nail fungus on my toe from where she ripped my cuticle. DON'T GO HERE. Read Less

Getting a mani/pedi has become a vacation tradtion with my best friend.  We went here because we could see it from the front of our rental house.   I have to say I was less than impressed.  During the pedicure, my manicurist kept asking me if I wanted a design for extra money and I kept politely declining.  And she ask me again, and again but she would ask in deceptive ways like 'You want design, right?"  No!!    Also she really didn't massage my foot or anything, I was in and out of that chair in no time.  In regards to the manicure, that was all fine.  I wasn't really a fan of their uv lights subsituting for heated dryers.  I kept sitting there because I didn't really have anything to go on to keep time of how long I had been there.  The woman then came over and said how I was done and could go home but as soon as I walked out of the salon, my nails being still wet got smudged.   I was not happy at all. This was the worst manicure I have ever gotten and was extremely over priced. There was a hair in my new dried polish and some of the pervious coloring I had was still there. When I complained to the man about my issues with the job he had done he told me to come back later and he would fix them...um I'm not going within 3ft of your shop again dude! And who the heck keeps Christmas decorations up year round anyways!? Needless to say if you want your nails done GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Read Less
