Absolutely HORRIBLE! I got my nails done on Saturday may 26th and its only Tuesday may 29th, it looks like I got them done 2 weeks ago and need a fill in already. My nail tech was talking to everyone else but me, his client and rushing through the process. I've been going to this salon since the first week they opened I absolutely love this place. The owners put a lot of thought into how to make their salon the best experience possible for their customers. Their standards for technicians are super high and everyone there is great. Now that people have discovered what a gem does nail salon it is it is very hard to be able to walk in. You should always try and call and make an appointment my appointments have always been honored at or close to the time I make them. It looks like there is at least one reviewer who had a bad experience and to that I must say that no one is perfect and there are always occasional mix ups in any field. I'm so confident in the owners of the salon I know that if that were to happen to me and I were to speak to them about the issue I know they would compensate me and do whatever it took for me to walk out happy. That's just the type of people they are and they take pride in their customer service. I also like how modern, sleek and pleasant the salon is. Let me preface this by saying I used to love this place and recommended multiple friends go here, but the final nail in the coffin was put in today. The last time I came here I had to wait 15 minutes to see the nail tech I made an appointment with (Dylan). I was annoyed but he was super nice and I had never had problems in the past so I figured it was a one time issue and I let it go. Today I made an appointment for 2PM and showed up at 1:55. Dylan was nowhere to be seen. After waiting 10 minutes I asked another tech (Sam) if Dylan was here. He ignored my question and said Dylan knew about my appointment. 5 minutes later he told me he texted Dylan and he was "on his way". I said "he's not here?" and Sam said that Dylan had gone off to lunch with another client and that he was driving back!!! I was shocked. This technician decided to go out to lunch with someone knowing that he had an upcoming appointment. Let that sink in. I have never been to a place where someone has decided to go to lunch instead of honoring a scheduled appointment. Apparently this is just normal behavior here though, because none of the techs there apologized for the tardiness or offered me another appointment time as if there was no issue. After 20+ minutes I just left. ETA: Looking on the first page of newest reviews on Yelp I already see two other clients complain about having to wait extended times for their appointments. This is not an isolated incident. If you are willing to patron this salon after being warned of the lack of respect for customers my advice to you would be to request Sam as your tech, since he was at least physically present both times I had these experiences happen. At least you'll get your nails done in theory if you choose him. Read Less

I love this place! I recently moved to NC and I read through some reviews of local nail salons before I decided to go to Nailvana. I'm so glad I did. This was the friendliest nail salon I’ve ever been too! I called the day before thanksgiving and it was suggested I make an appointment and thankfully they had one available that same day. I got a gel manicure and loved how my nails turned out. Sadly, only a couple days after getting them done some of the gel was coming off my nails. I have been going to Aurora for the past 6 months every other week. She's freaking amazing!!! I have never stuck with the same nail tech or nail salon before Nailvana and Aurora. The salon is great and everyone that works there is welcoming and cares about its customers. Every time I go I get the same excellent mani and pedi I got on my first visit and all around excellent customer service. Great nail color selection as well! I'm giving the salon two stars because it is very clean and the technicians are friendly and do an amazing job.  They also have a large selection of colors and appointments can be made online. However, there were times (at least 5) that I made appointments and had to wait over 30 minutes for my requested technician (twice I didn't even see my requested technician, I was switched to a different one).  I understand that things happen which can make technicians run behind, but the purpose of an appointment is to be seen at that time.I would only suggest this salon if you have time to wait. This is the friendliest and the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to. I'm so lucky to have it right here in Morrisville. From the moment I called to make an appointment it's been a great experience. Everyone here is super nice, professional, and speaks perfect English. Sam did a great job with my nails. Regular mani and pedi cost me $38 plus tip, and i was out of there in less than 40 minutes. They have an amazing selection of OPIs, arranged neatly by colors! Most nail salons don't bother organizing the colors, and you don't realize how frustrating it is until you come across a nicely arranged palette. I had my colors picked out in less than a minute. I went to this salon due to my primary salon being closed for the holiday. I enjoyed the experience. Sue did my gel polish change on my hands and regular polish on my feet. The atmosphere is very exclusive and private. I found this salon on yelp and I was incredibly pleased. This place deserves a 5 star review! I made appointments for my mother and me to get pedicures after reading the reviews. They seem to scatter the appointments to give each customer a fair amount of time, from what I noticed.The chairs are in the back, away from the door which gives a lot of privacy. The chairs are comfortable and the staff extremely accommodating. It's a small space, so it's intimate. I can see why they may struggle to take walk-ins during certain times of the day. We got the basic pedicure and they spent about 45 minutes with us. My mom is still getting used to having pedicures and I have to say they were patient with her.The color selection is amazing! They have regular, gel, and the opi polish that is supposed to be stronger than normal polish but not quite gel (I think it's called diamond?) It also has ample parking because of where it is in the shopping center. I highly recommend this place! I'm particular because I've had bad experiences in the past with other nail places. I love Nailvana!  This nail spa is clean, chic, and professional.  It looks like it belongs in a W or Aloft hotel.I came here on a weekday with my boyfriend to get a pedicure and the place was pretty empty.  According to the staff the weekends get pretty busy, so your best bet to get your nails done is by appointment, or on a weekday.  When you walk into Nailvana, there is a sitting area followed by a manicure area with about 8 stations.  Toward the back is where they have the spa pedicure stations.  What I loved most about Nailvana is that after I made an appointment for two, they set me and my boyfriend up in this private nail spa room for two. The staff is super friendly, and speak English fluently. I know that at some nail salons there is a bit of a language barrier which leaves room for misinterpretation, but that does not happen here.  I'd recommend this place for anyone who lives in the RTP (Research Triangle Park) near the Morrisville/Cary side.
