Terrible service. I went in for a filling, the guy did not know what he was was doing and a girl had to take over and she did not have a clue what she was doing either. I sat there for over 3 HOURS, just to get a filling. I asked for my nails to be cut shorter and they didn’t listen after telling them multiple times to cut them shorter. If I could give no stars I would! I went in to get a pink and white fill. The lady that did my nails first started to just fill them and I asked if she was going to do the white. She acted like she didn’t know how to do that. I asked for square and got more of a bubble coffin. When I said again I want square she says “Why didn’t you say so???” I said I did! Another lady took over she made my nails back to square but had to make them very short to do so. She also took down the bubble. She ended up taking off all the white and had to use nail polish to give me a French tip. She always does an amazing job, takes time and care to give me a relaxing experience not to mention great work...the other ladies that work here do a great job as well...when friends and family have visited and we have gone to have a girls pedi day, all have done great work! After sitting in a chair for a pedicure for over 20 minutes with one of my girlfriends (oh and her jets didn't work) my water was cold and i saw no sign of anyone finishing soon so I asked the technician doing a pedicure beside me if she knew about how long it would be bf we would be taken care of... i only had about an hour and a half bf i needed to pick my son up from the bus. She was very polite and said she didn't know. I told her i was time restricted so she looked around to the others techs asking about how long until someone could get to us. A very mean a rude lady responded "We be there Soon!" I should have left right then but i knew my friend really wanted hers done so i simple restated about how long, i just need a timeframe at this point. once again rude lady... "Soon!" ......... After 15 minutes, one tech came over to my friend and I and asked who wanted to go first. I said my friend bc A) she wanted more than the basic so she needed more time B) getting hers done was more important to than mine. I normally do my own. Now I know why! even though my tech was very nicee, the job was the worst I've ever had done. I had to ask them to be filed more repeatedly, they still aren't rounded off at all and very diagonal! in the middle of painting the first foot, the polish ran out! AWESOME!!!!! she finds another bottle after i let her know i saw a few more of that shade on the turntable of polishes. she still is very nice but by the time she gets to coat 2, lawd and behold I'm out of time! Even after i asked, told, and made very clear after the long wait this could happen. So I left without the topcoat. My choice, but not really. They usually have decent prices and they do a pretty good pedicure. Really, that is the only reason I go there. They are not friendly at all and when you try to be friendly and talk to them they give you a strange look and ignore you. I'm pretty sure the older couple in there are the owners and they are the worst. Tell your customers thank you and have a good day and you might get more business. I'm giving them 3 stars because their work isn't bad, just the attitude. I am used to going to NC nails across from Lowes hardware in Mooresville. There, they are kind and remember your name and even offer you any drink of your choice. Check these guys out for their $20 spa pedicure, it's pretty good. That's all! Read Less

I went in to get a pedicure and a fill in. A younger girl did my pedicure. She was super sweet but didnt have the slightest idea what she was doing, my feet looked worse than before. My fill in was awful. An older last did my fill in and was rude didn't give me what I wanted, one side of my nail was square and the other side was round. I asked for pink above my french tip and it wasn't even pink. It actually turned my acrylics yellow. Mind you my french was crooked and messy. While all that is being done another girl that worked there is on the phone with her friend talking about her relationship problems and walked up to a customer with her phone in her hand and asked her what she wanted and made zero eye contact. I got my fiancé a pedicure for her first Mother's Day here. The gentleman that did her nails came out and asked- after NO discussion of our 4 month old baby,- "how far along are you?" She told him, "I'm not pregnant." He proceeded to ask her 2 other times throughout the pedicure when she was due and her due date. Needless to say, she was pretty upset after having to tell him EACH time that she was not pregnant. She is not big either. This was supposed to be a relaxing visit, and instead she left way more stressed out than when she went in. I went back up there to tell them they shouldn't comment on a woman's body like that and they just didn't  seem to understand what was wrong about that. You've been warned. Read Less

It was, just, OK. Got a French gel manicure,  I didn't have an appointment but it was only like 10 a.m. mid-week. Admittedly, my nails were in bad shape because my son had been in the hospital out of town, I had been staying at Ronald MacDonald house and didn't have my own bathroom, mani supplies, etc.  I had also allowed a little 6 year old girl to apply red polish without a base (I KNOW! But it was worth it to see her smile). I removed the polish, they were stained, but whatever.  The male manicurist was doing my nails, he kept telling me how bad my nails looked, I tried to explain that I was, literally, in survival mode with sick kid in hospital at Duke, etc- but he didn't speak english well enough to understand. I kept feeling the need to apologize- and I was told numerous times that I should use a base. "Do you understand? Base?" (he wasn't being rude, he just didn't understand what I was explaining. , I thanked him, tipped, and left.  My nails did look MUCH better- the mani held up well, they were a little less oval than I had asked (more square).  It wasn't the prettiest job I've had in the area, but I would say it was second-best so far. Seriously the best nail place I have been to. I have been to about every nail salon in mooresville and all have good and bads, but at solar nails they are amazing! They're prices are great! They take their time to really do the job right unlike other nail salons that rush. One of the male pedicurist literally gave me the best pedicure ever. I got a great full set also! I got Julie to do my pedicure and she did a good job. I payed $20 for my pedi. I would have loved her to dig deeper for the in grown toe nails but overall she did a good job. She didn't do her best applying the nail polish but what can I say? This is the first nail shop I come to since I moved here to NC. I will try a couple of other shops and see which one I like best. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! My boyfriend's parents live about 5 minutes away from this place and whenever I come down to visit them with him, it's become a ritual that his mom and I get our manis and pedis done here.  It's in a great location first off -- a  few doors down from the Starbucks and Style Exchange, and the employees are so friendly.  I've seen Titi the 2 times that I've been there so far and I think Sarah has worked with my boyfriend's mom.  I was able to have a light conversation with both of them when I went there about 2 weeks ago and they are both super sweet! The man who I assume works there is JUST as nice.  We've had pedicures done there twice and the girls do such a great job with taking their time and being gentle.  Our pedicures lasted well over 2 weeks... I'm going into week 2 of my pedicure and the color hasn't chipped or budged at all - even with me scrunching my toes in heels Mon.-Fri. for work.  I also got a french shellac manicure done 2 weeks ago and even though they're growing out... they still look really really good and haven't chipped at all, and trust me - I'm pretty rough with my nails! Coming from living in Northern VA... the quality and price here don't even compare to the quality and service I get down in Mooresville.  Titi made the white tips on my manicure and pedicure (before) perfect -- you know what I mean.. she didn't make half my nail white like most people do.  In summary,  I've made a promise to myself to only get my nails done here.. so it looks like I'll be making monthly visits down to Mooresville just to get my nails done :) Read Less

I am giving a 5 because I love the nail tech Titi. She is BEST!!!!!! The nail salon is decorated just ok. They don't have a good selection of colors either. If you want the best manicure and pedicure ever go see Titi. She takes her time and gives a great massage. Every time to go somewhere else(when's she's too busy) I compare everyone to her. Also this thing always autoINcorrects everything haha I totally just invented that word do not steal it, that's my one non-arrested development allusion. Fuck I am not funny. Anyway, on to the review! Things I like about this place: vibrating chairs,, it's clean, not too pricey blah blah blah who gives a shit.Things I don't like: the chick doing my nails gave me the hard sell for a gel manicure, which means I will practically have to sand my finger nails off to get this type of polish off, which can be a good thing because it lasts hella long. I got a French manicure (because I am classy as fuck) but I am not crazy about it (too much white at the tips, also she rounded my nails too much which make my hands look less like sexy hand model hands and more like big dumb polar bear paws). So I'm kind of stuck with it for while.Oh in the things I like paragraph I forgot to mention that the chick doing my nails and some other guy who worked there were both singing or humming along to the songs that came over the radio, which was kind of fun and not nearly as hella annoying as it sounds. Fave moment was when a commercial for some michael jackson related cirque du soleil coming to town came on the radio, the chick doing my nails said, "oh Michael Jackson is coming to town, how nice" and I didn't have the heart to tell her that he is dead.
