Made an appt the day before. Got there a little early. They sat us down immediately for our pedicures. Once they finished I walked over to a table because our appointment was for manicures and pedicures. While we were there the got very busy. I wanted standing there for someone to tell me where to go, trying to be polite and understanding because I knew they were busy. After about 10 mins they lady came over and told me the price. I told her I was supposed to get manicure too. She pointed to a chair and I say down. I waited another 15 mins with my 6 year old daughter. While I waited all the employees started helping new customers. Feeling annoyed I got up because I only had so much time left before I had to leave to get my other children. Then the lady rushed over and asked me to sit down someone would be with me soon. I told her I had waited almost 45 mins and couldn't wait any longer. She said she was sorry but she had someone with an appointment who needed to be help. I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. When I called to set it up I said 2 manicures and 2 pedicures. When I got there I said it again. I paid and she gave me a 10% coupon. Hahahaha 10%!!! That's not worth the 45 mins I waited because they were unorganized and couldn't communicate with each other. I will never go back. Unprofessional. Nail salon are a dime a dozen, I will take my business elsewhere. This was supposed to be something special for my daughter and I to do together and they ruined that. Never felt more rushed at a nail salon EVER. The woman who did my pedicure asked me like 4 times if I wanted a deluxe pedicure despite the fact that I politely refused 3 times. Then another lady did my nails as I was doing my toes and we felt there was an entire group discussion about us in a different language. SUPER RUDE. Then when I told the woman I needed a second to pick my color she was like on top of me actually leaning on my leg while I was trying to pick a color. Which might I add very little color selection if you just want regular nail polish. I never get my nails done and my mother is rarely in town I wanted it to be relaxing but I was probabaly finished with both mani and pedi in 20 mins. The woman who did my mother’s mani and pedi actually took a very nice long time on her. (Her name was Sara). So if you decide to come here only see Sara. Also, I saw the lady who did my pedicure double dipping in the wax pot while doing someone’s eyebrows and mustache. I’m not sure if the Board of Health has laws against double dipping in the state of NC but in NY that’s illegal. I actually took a video of it too. Read Less

Have been going to Rose Nails for close to 5 years now and Love Love Love it, it is my guilty pleasure.  I usually have Kim do my nails but sometimes Tina, either one is great as are most of the girls.  They do a great job and have a wide selection of products and services.  I would not even think of going anywhere else.  My hubby comes with me on occasion and enjoys it as well. Will not be returning the man who did my nails was on the phone the whole time! He even left my nails jagged and misshaped.. I chose a watermelon red and somehow I ended up with neon pink I told him this wasn't the color I had picked out ..he gave me an option to a darker color but he wouldn't take the polish off ..he was rushing on my nails to answer the phone and he was also on his cell phone the whole time... very unprofessional very annoyed Read Less

I never go back. I walked in to make an appointment two days prior at ten o'clock in advance having a very busy schedule. I  I arrived on time.  Kim was doing someone's pedicure and told me 'she is running late' and asked if I could come at eleven or the next day ?? I told her. 'No'. She then agreed that I come in at eleven, which I did. At eleven she was  doing someone's manicure. I waited until 11:15 and she still was not ready.  Only was she not totally unprofessional but also very rude. I left.What was the point making an appointment if all the walk- ins have the first priority!!In case you want unprofessional and rude service and apparently greediness from part of this salon, go there.  In case you prefer good professional service, go somewhere else. I took my nail kit as I don't trust them sanitizing theirs properly. Kathy did NOT use my kit even though I repeatedly told her to use it. Then she started digging into my big toe really deeply to the point that I was screaming from the pain. She thought she was removing ingrown nail when I didn't even asked her to. I bled really bad. Long story short, the next day I got a terrible infection and it has now been 10 days and it is not getting any better. I'm treating it with peroxide and Neosporin. I have already called and complained to the owner. It looks like I might have to see a foot doctor for treatment and extra medication and I let the owner know that they will be paying for my medical bill. They probably have cameras set up at the salon where they can see that I took my nail kit and Kathy stubbornly refused to use mine because she is more comfortable working with hers. She could've used it on someone with a serious illness and passed on the disease to me. I will post pictures so you can see. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. Read Less

Went the today and got right in.  Picked out my color for my toes, jus had clear for my nails.  One person worked on my feet while another worked on my nails.  Girl working on my nails said cut nails, I replied yes  JUST A LITTLE,  she cut my nails almost down to the quick, there is  maybe 1/24 of white nail left!  GRRRRRRRRR. TOES CAME OUT GREAT BUT finger nails look terrible.  Why would anybody cut a woman's nail down so far there is no white left or just a hit of white!  Will probably go back Maybe, but will try to get someone who understand English better so this does not happen again! I got the deluxe mani/pedi. For $60 I thought it was a steal. First of all, they did my fingers and feet at the same time, which was awkward. The lady doing my pedicure literally left bruises along my shins due to the voracious massage. It was truly painful, and I had to ask her to stop. I became a little concerned when they placed the electric nail dryer on my lap, with the cord strewn across my legs just inches from the water, but I made sure to secure the cord to avoid electrocution. At no time did I ever feel relaxed, and to be honest one shouldn't have to work so hard to hold a dryer while being given separate instructions by the 2 nail techs and to what hand/foot to give them. Very disappointed !!! The absolute worst manicure / pedicure I've ever experienced. One employee worked on my hands while another worked on my feet. They chatted among themselves the entire time, laughing, gossiping about every client that walked in, in a foreign language of course, so it made it even more uncomfortable. I immediately felt rushed and unimportant. The one doing my hands stood to the side of me constantly reaching across me to share lotions & utensils with her co-worker. I could not relax and enjoy - the one doing my feet was in such a hurry that she cut one of my cuticles and tortured my heels with that cheese-grater tool. The one doing my hands massaged them with such force that I had to pull away several times from the pain. When I would pull away, she would look at the one doing my feet and make some kind of comment which only they can understand, and then laugh amongst themselves like I was the crazy one. I could not wait for it to be over. And on top of that, I had to pay for this kind of treatment. I should have spoken to the manager but she would not have understood me and I was just ready to get out of there. I will not go back. Read Less

This was my first visit to this nail salon and I must say they did an exceptional job.  I made a reservation via phone(it probably wasn't necessary as it was a Monday afternoon).  I was greeted when I walked in the door, picked out a color and proceeded to the pedicure massage chair.  I got the deluxe pedicure($35) and it was well worth it.  Anna did a great job.  45 minutes later my feet and legs looked and felt great!!  Also, bonus for the extra back massage!! Nail technician did not speak English.  She was very rough and was digging into my cuticle.  I told her she was hurting me.  She continued to be rough.  She used a metal paddle for the callous.  Much too rough. Not a good place.  Her boss did not stop her from doing this.  Won't go back. Read Less

THE WORST PEDICURE IVE EVER GOTTEN! Within the first 5 minutes of sitting down in the pedicure chair, I was bleeding. I have been getting pedicures my whole life and never have I bled. Then, she wanted to put a chemical on my toe, but I asked what it was- she didn't answer me..just said it didn't burn. When I turned my head, she was putting it on my toe. After I got over the bleeding, I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt and continue with the pedicure...it was fine...until the end when she put on my shoe and smudged my polish. Pedicure was nice but they will try to upsell you constantly which is annoying. I got acrylic fill ins and they have never looked so bad. Misshaped nails and way too much acrylic. Not to mention she cut every single one of my fingers with the drill. I won't be back Read Less

Fabulous experience-quick gel manicure with spa pedicure and it's beautiful! Will definitely be back in a few weeks! 4 stars because they try to upsell you frequently and French manicure is very expensive. $60 for gel manicure and regular pedicure is too steep to me but I'll go back and pay the $30 for my gel manicure to see Jenny cause it looks amazing. I had a wonderful experience at Rose nails & skin care. These ladies were very busy today but they made sure I had a lovely visit. I started with a nice warm pedicure and a 30 minute chair massage. After my toes were dry and clean, I decided to get the paraffin wax for my feet and hands. I placed them in the little plastic bags that had the warm paraffin wax inside. The scent was lavender and then I placed my hands and feet in the warm mittens. While continuing my chair massage, I got a clean eyebrow wax and shape up. After 10 minutes of the paraffin wax, Jenny cleaned my hands and feet with hot towels and painted away. I chose a tropical blue color with a splash of glitter. As I checked out and paid for my services, I left Jenny a nice tip and she returned the favor with a customer appreciation card and 10% off service card. Thanks ladies you rock!! I will definitely return--quick, quality service at a very very reasonable price. I went on a whim on a weekday, and didn't have to wait at all. They did my manicure simultaneously with my pedicure, which meant that by the time my toes were dry enough to walk out, my fingers were almost completely dry. That was so convenient!The staff was friendly and efficient. And the massage IS really excellent.The salon had a pretty good selection of colors, and it looked like they also did airbrushing or other types of nail art. Read Less

First of all, I am a regular at Rose. I go there every couple weeks and I am not sure why I continue to go back. The last 3 times I've been, my nails have looked terrible. I went in today around 4:30 and other than a lady getting a pedicure, I was the only other customer in there. From the beginning, I was hardly spoken to. You can not understand their mumbling and it produces a very uninviting feeling about being in their (unairconditioned) salon. Once I was seated, the lady did not even ask me what I would like done. She assumed that I wanted a new set and began the removal process. I had to stop her and let her know that I wanted a fill-in only. She seemed incredibly annoyed and started away with that. I noticed that she started peeling off the sides of every nail. I assumed, being a professional, that she would know what she's doing but I was mistaken. After she was done doing whatever she was doing she applied a pinkish coat. I wasn't sure why it was pink but I said nothing. As she was applying it, a customer walked in and started to chat with her. She started to apply the pink coat without looking, resulting in a very bad looking finish. Needless to say, I am very bitter about my experience and I will never, ever go back. If I'm going to pay for a service, I expect an effort to at least be made. This is the closest nail salon to my mom's house and we've been here several times.  Most recently, my mom went for a pedicure a few days after being discharged from a long hospital stay when she underwent surgery.  She was treated with care and concern and received a nice pedicure.  She kept raving about how good she felt after the pedicure and foot spa.This weekend my mom treated me to a pedicure for my birthday while I was in town.  We went early Friday afternoon and did not have to wait.  The ladies remembered my mom, asked how she was doing, and complemented her on how well she looked now.  Even though my mom didn't get a pedicure, she was allowed to sit in the chair next to mine so we could be closer to each other.The lady who gave me my pedicure was the same one who worked on my mom. She was very nice and made good small talk, but also let us do our own thing.  She was also fast and efficient.  I was happy with the results.I'm glad my mom has a place nearby that remembers her and can pamper her while she is progressing on her road to recovery.  This is definitely my go-to nail salon whenever I'm in town.
