My god can I not recommend these ladies enough! I came in a rush after being held up and rejected from another salon for over an hour with a flight to catch and didn’t know if I was gonna be able to have my hands and toes done in time. But nonsense they were so sweet and funny and not only did amazing SNS gel nails with a design they also did a quick and fast toe polish change at the same time. Felt like I was being pampered! Never again will i go to Queens nails. It was an absolutely horrible experience!! It rook the woman 10 mins to figure out ehich nail would go on which finger. Once she finally got the nail on(which a few of the nails werent even the same size) I told her I wanted square nails and of course she rounded my nails which meant in order to square my nails she had to shorten them way shorter then I wanted. It took about an hour and a half and I was just so done I left without my nails even being painted. I wouldnt waste anymre of my time going there. Read Less

This is the add on oart.... they deserve the 4 not just because of the fussy lady but the tech that worked my feet really took sincere attention to all the rough parts. It's like why I liked Envy Nails in Madison, WI, at the beginning. Not like that May 2017 visit. I will return and just plan to do things while on this side of town. -----------  but I wish I found them before buying seafood at Harris teeter. ------You can see the parking lot from inside. My tech ran out after me to open my door so I wouldn't damage my mani. She then locked my doors so no one would steal my laptop. I didn't even think of it and wasn't to concerned. I'm glad she was.  She knows the area better than I. They have the usual OPI. Gels, polishes and acrylics. The place is utilizing their space as best as possible. It's not large but nice. 6 pedicure thrones.  6 mani stations. I like the manicurist best.  She's attentive and fast.  Very sweet without fussing when I asked about sterilization. Another lady in here is complaining about her gel take off. I've had people do both ways... I empathize it's her first time enduring the machine to file it off but it is an option places use. I don't care for the long soak nor the machine buffing it off. She's being pretty mean about it which I don't get as the tech is trying to accommodate her. Okay, seeing the service executed and their joy when clients stroll in makes me raise this from 3 star to 3.5 and since that doesn't exist on Yelp they'll get 4 stars.  I wish they'd dust, get down the corner cobwebs and make a quick decor change with the mirrors. I visited this nail salon and I will say they gave me and my friend  some very nice looking nails.. HOWEVER, the place wasn't very clean, and the woman who did mine kept hurting me and my friend. At the end they were very hostile when my friends card wouldn't work with their machine even though it was their machines error, and I offered to pay for hers in cash.. overall, I was not very satisfied with this experience and probably will not return. Got a gel manicure today with Lana and she did a beautiful and clean job. She was also very friendly and talkative. Very happy with my nails, not to mention that they only charge $20 for gel manicure compared to most salons that charge $30 or higher. I will get pedicure done with Lana soon and I am hoping I'll be just as happy. Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The salon was absolutely filthy (nail dust, old tools etc.) and they did an awful job with not only the polish, but also with the nail care. She cut my nails down so short that my fingers are sore. I've been going to Queen Nails for 17 years. They do a great job. They all know me by name and are very friendly. Rachel is my tech, she does a great job and my nails are always perfect. If Rachel is on vacation I feel comfortable with any of the others doing my nails. My only complaint over all these years is that I often have to wait 15 or more minutes after my appointment time. Not my normal nail salon but I was in a hurry to get my acrylics taken off and I was in the area. Walked in and all of the ladies looked as if I was bothering them. Asked for the cost and sat down. One of the ladies said that they will be with me in a minute. Watched 1 lady go back and forth from the sink to the pedicure seats hoping that she would prepare for me to get my nails soaked off. I absolutely love this salon! I've been coming here for over 13 years! Taylor keeps my in-grown toenails from being painful and Annie keeps my eyebrows from getting bushy! My teenage daughters love going to the salon for special occasions too! I have to say that I laughed when I read some of the bad reviews. The reviewers were either confusing Queen Nails with another salon or they are the type of people who just like to complain. I have never had a problem at Queen Nails and I am there at least once a month! The women who work there are like family. They make you feel great about being in their salon and always do an amazing job!  I always look forward to my pedicures! A few times a year, I also treat myself to gel manicures! I went to get a fill in and have my nails filed down. They were awful they made my nails super thick and very uneven I had to keep telling her to reshape them she acted like she didn't care she rushed and they actually had major dips in the acrylic.  And it was only a fill in i didn't know you could mess that up.  I definitely wouldn't want her to do a full set. They are also pretty high priced. And the shop is very cluttered and actually plan filthy you can see the dust and grime on all the tables like they never wipe anything down.  GROSS! I live near here so it's convenient but I will definitely try the nail salon behind them next  time its next to biglots they had 5 stars and good reviews.  I  think it's called nail star. What a wonderful experience. Amazing service and price. Just moved to Charlotte from cold rainy gloomy Pittsburgh and in a desperate need of a pedicure. Walked into Queen Nails and glad I did. I have been here twice. The first time I had a pedicure and something rough was in the lotion and it was rough when she massaged my legs, so it was like she was she was scrubbing me. The second time they said it would be "20 mins" and instead it was an hour before she started on me. Took 3 hours total mid day Saturday for a fill in manicure and polish! Went a third time to give them a final chance and was told "20 mins" should have left then! But waited 45 minutes and then left" beware they do not like to turn you away and will ask you to sit and say "20 mins" but it is a lie! You may wait over an hour! I went to this nail salon for the first time and was very disappointed. Sanitation of equipment was dismal. I watched my technician do a quick alcohol swab on the cuticle trimmers, which isn't sufficient for killing germs, especially because she didn't seem to actually get much alcohol on the trimmers. Then, luckily, she wasn't very good at pushing back and cutting cuticles so I wasn't concerned about her breaking the skin. But- you want your manicure to have nice cuticles!The location was ok. Outdated and cluttered, but it's a nail salon, not a spa. The worst - my manicure didn't last 24 hours. The polish was gummy & never dried - if anything hard touched my nails, even 18 hours later, part of the polish would be scraped off. I've never had this problem with any other manicure. I wonder if they are adding something to the polish to stretch the bottles so they last longer?I cannot recommend this salon. Read Less

I can't say enough about how much I look forward to having my nails done every two weeks. RACHEL has been doing my nails for nearly a year, and I have never been more satisfied. When I walk in the door, I'm always greeted so warmly by Rachel and each of her team members. I have always gotten the gel nails at Quean Nails. Never once have I been unhappy. My nails are so soft and thin. They used to stay broken down into the quicks, that is until I discovered this place. I had had gel polish before and wasn't satisfied. The nail salons that I had been to previously, the polish had just come off within four days or less. Since visiting Queen Nails, when Rachel does my nails, they last at least three weeks or more. The reason I became aware of Queen Nails is because one of the patients I was working with, I noticed her nails being so wonderfully manicured and polished so beautifully. I asked her where she got her nails done? They were just so pretty.She told me where she had gotten them done and that she had had that polish polished for almost three weeks. I was amazed! They look like she had just had them done. I asked her for the number and the name of the place where she went to get her nails done. That's the first time I became aware of Queen nails and have not regretted it one day since. I have been so very happy and  have referred many, many people to Queen Nails because of strangers asking, "Where did you get your nails done, they are so beautiful! I'm happy to tell them where I go and give them a card to Queen Nails and say to them that Rachel does my nails. They not only provide reasonable pricing, they offer years of experience, a very clean and friendly environment and they are very knowledgeable about the current trends for nails and the health of your nails as well. And the icing on the cake is, Rachel does the most AWESOME designs on my nails. Most people think they are stencils, but I enjoy bragging about how wonderful MY MANICURIST is. The ladies greet everyone as they come through the door. There may only be a few ladies working but they are a well-oiled machine and can service a full shop in a timely manner. Three of us came as walk-ins and the shop was mostly full. We quickly got seats and had our feet soaking or hands lotioned in no time. It's a small shop but the staff is fantastic and quick. The prices are reasonable ($10 mani/$25 pedi). The atmosphere is very casual and the other patrons are friendly so it's a great place to relax and unwind for a bit. I walked in they asked me what i wanted done i told them eyebrows and to paint my daughter's fingernails. After almost 2 hrs sitting there they finally did my eyebrows(not pleased). Then they told me they dont have time to do my daughter's nails. After 2 hrs. BAD Experience and will NEVER go there again. They claimed they were busy -NOT. One lady was busy talking on the phone. Although this isn't the fanciest of nail salons, I am giving Queen Nails a 5 star rating because their service and quality make the somewhat dated interior worthwhile!Initially I went in thinking I was going to finally break down and go the "fake nail" route since it's practically impossible for me to get a manicure that lasts longer than 30 minutes after leaving the salon, plus my nails tend to break once they grow past the end of my fingertips. When I asked Rachel about it, she took one look at my nails and quickly convinced me that gel was actually a much better option because I have very healthy nail beds and the gel doesn't damage your nails at all. One of my favorite things about this place is the fact that each time someone walked through the door, Rachel greeted every one of them by name and asked how work was going, how that trip they were going on went or how the new move was treating them! It was obvious that her attention to detail transcends her clients' nails, which, in my opinion, is a huge selling point!My nails look amazing, Queen's prices are really reasonable and I love the friendly atmosphere and attention to detail.
