I always come here ever since I moved states (going on 2 years). Amazing place, people and atmospher. Pedicures are just as great as their manicures/full sets. I think this has to be one of the worse salons in Charlotte! The staff is mediocre at best. The salon has roaches. This salon doesn't even use sanitary paper on the waxing chair!! They expect you to lay on a blanket that others have been waxed on. They of course try to update you everything and do not deliver good, quality work. Read Less

I was a loyal customer here. In fact, I went every two weeks. Then the nail technician insisted I had a ingrown toenail and put me through extreme pain. I've had problems with my big toes before and my podiatrist told me two years before this I never had an ingrown toenail. Fast forward to orchid, the nail technician told me I had a ingrown and she cut way too much of my nail and skin off! Often times she did my feet it felt like my foot was going to bleed. The experience was undesirable. I often told her it hurt and she kept doing more damage. 10 months ago I left an review of 5 stars for this nail salon. However, since then management has changed and I have to change my original review to 1 star. Kelly was a wonderful person and nail technician. She did great work and was always welcoming to her customers. I went back to see her recently and saw she wasn't there anymore or the other nail technician that worked with her. Instead 2 new people are there and not only are they rude & careless but they aren't consistent in prices. My boyfriend knew I loved this place so he bought me a gift certificate from this place for our anniversary. He accidentally kept it in his car our anniversary weekend and since he lives 45 mins away he called the salon and told them the situation. They told him it was fine, they remembered him and just to bring a picture of it and I would be okay. I came by there to get my nails done and showed her the picture and she said she remembered talking to him earlier that day but ultimately said she would need the gift certificate. I explained that he called and was told I was okay without it because she remembered him. She said yea I trust you but people do this all the time and I need the gift certificate. Of course I'm mad because she lied and said it was okay and I drove all the way over there and set aside time for this just to be turned away. Before I left I confirmed the cost for just a polish change on my feet was $15 and my nails was $15-(which used to be $10 each). Nonetheless my boyfriend came into town that weekend so we went to nail salon together to not have any confusion- as expected $15 for the nails- however since she took so long just to paint my nails I told her we would have to come back for the my feet. The next day I come back to get my toes polished and they then saidit's $20. As much as I wanted to yell and cuss I just gave her a surprised look, shut my mouth and just sat down as this will be the LAST time I come back here. I personally would have never came back after the gift certificate lie if my boyfriend hadn't paid for it. I wish I had Kelly's personal number to call her and tell her how much I miss her and find out where she works now. The new lady's clearly don't care about running bad business so I don't expect this to make any change on their end, however I will warn others about their poor service. I strongly urge people to go somewhere else! They are crooked & deserve the fortune that comes with that level of service. Read Less

I've been going here for months and I've never left disappointed. They're not just staff, they're my friends. They know all their customers by name and make a very fun enjoyable environment. They all are very experienced and patient. If I see one of my nails are uneven or I think I need another coat they will fix it no complaints. But that rarely happens anyway. Yesterday  was my first time coming here. So happy I did. The salon was very clean, which is a big thing for me. The staff was friendly and personable. They seem to have a lot of repeat  customers. I truly  enjoyed  my experience  here; especially  the hand massage. There prices are good as well. If your looking  for a new salon, definitely  give them a try! I will be coming back! Read Less
